The pressures of life that cause suffering are real things in life. The same thing happened to the psalmist recorded in Psalm 130:1-8. There are two big possibilities when someone faces a problem, they will move away from God or draw closer to God. In the narrative of Psalm 130:1-8, the psalmist draws closer to God. When the psalmist trusting God’s redemption generates the attitude to wait upon the Lord. Although God has not heard my prayer yet, I want to trust the Lord that he will deliver me despite I do not know when he will release me. I want to live in trust to the Lord because I believe that my faith will help me to endure in my problems, to still wait upon the Lord. I want to remember his characters so that I do not want to lose my faith in the midst of my suffering. This Psalm is begun with petition to the Lord and it is ended up by describing God’s characteristic.

Studying the books in the Old Testament which were originally in Hebrew, then studied through the Greek edition with the Septuagint will broaden horizons in Biblical studies. There are various editions of the Septuagint. In this study, it will use Rahlfs' edition. This edition is the most widely spread edition of the Septuagint. Alfred Rahlfs edition of the Septuagint (Rahlfs Septuagint), is a critical edition of the Septuagint published for the first time in 1935 by the German philologist. Through this paper, a structured study of the text of Exodus 15:1-7 will be presented.

The use of the suffix ια is interesting to study. According to Buck and Petersen combined words in -ια, Ion. -ιη, and those in -ιӑ in the same list because of practical convenience and their interrelations in Greek. On the other side there are uses that actually have their own peculiarities. There are many substantives without connections with adjectives in -ιος because prehistoric substantivations may be surmised. Καρδίας (in genitive) is an example of old concrete substantives in -ια is related to Hittie gen. kardias. Words in -ιă or -įāreflect a type which in the other IE languages appears as an ī/yā stem such as in Sankrit (nom. devī, acc. devīm, gen. devyās, dat.devyāi, etc.).

In the world of teaching, it takes a variety of creativity, so that students benefit from the learning process. The same thing happened in the Sunday School class held by the church. The core material is certainly from the Bible. This includes memorizing Bible verses from certain parts. Students are required to memorize the verses. Many face failure in the memorization process. They have difficulty remembering the verses. However, there is still an interesting method to make it easier for children to memorize Bible verses, namely by association methods found in quantum learning. The problem is whether the Sunday school teachers understood this association method? With descriptive research methods have found a solution that in the process of memorizing with this association method, can increase the number of verses memorized. This can be shown from the results of evaluations that have been carried out, there is an increase in the number of memorized verses that can be memorized by Sunday school students, which increases to 20 words or about 4%.

This research presents a methodology and example of doing both a textual criticism and a word study or a lexical analysis of the Hebrew word. The textual external evidence strongly favors the consonantal text of reading one because all the ancient versions support it. The internal evidence, though it is not as strong as external evidence, has endorsements from its context and appearances of that word in Hebrew Bible. In Isaiah 62:1, the best understanding of יד ִּפַל is not from literal sense but rather symbolic. The context of the usage of this term is God will restore Zion, particularly in her salvation, which is symbolized as a torch that burns. It means that Yahweh will make glorious Zion’s deliverance like a torch so that all nations, including their kings, will be witnesses of Zion’s restoration.

In the Zechariah, there are various visions and prophecies that are so difficult to be understood today. And this can be biased if every Bible’s learner interprets it as he pleases. In this research, which uses the Lexical Analysis approach, will discuss about the meaning of the words בָּרֹד and מֵֽהִתְיַצֵּ֖ב of In Zechariah 6:3-5. With in-depth observation and also making language comparisons, it can be concluded that: בָּרֹדin Zechariah 6:3 should be translated as dappled, a literal or concrete definition. Old Testament does not give any specific color with regard to the dappled. However, it seems that the color of horses in Zechariah 6:1-8 has a function to distinguish one chariot from the other chariots. יצבin Zechariah 6:5 should be interpreted in the sense of readiness to serve God, a metaphorical extension of the concrete definition, ‘to stand’. The four spirits are going forth after serving the Lord of all the earth in the heavens. It implies that the four spirits are belonged to God. In the heavens, they are serving God and when going to the earth, they carry God’s mission.

The Bible is the word of God that needs to be understood by all those who already have Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. This is called a Christian. It is different from people who are Christians as a 'religion'. Christians are obliged to study the Bible as a basic truth in order to know God's will from time to time. On the other hand, Bible learners often experience confusion problems, when understanding the continuity of the contents from Genesis to Revelation. Are there interrelations? Or it is just a fragmented story with different intentions.There are appropriate methods in avoiding confusion when doing this learning process. This method has been understood since the beginning of the century which then became popular throughout the world in the 19th century, with the term Dispensationalism.Dispensation is a period of time during which humans are tested in the perspective of obedience to a specific revelation of God's will. Theologically, the word dispensation means a religious system that is understood as a divine provision or as a sign of progressive revelation that expresses the changing needs of an individual nation or time period. Dispensationalism views the world as a household run or worked by God.Dispensation theology is often misunderstood by theologians, without wanting to study it carefully, where is the oddity? This discussion will show that Dispensationalism is as a sharp knife for understanding the Bible as a whole. Abstrak Indonesia Alkitab itu firman Allah yang perlu dipahami oleh semua orang yang telah memiliki Yesus sebagai Tuhan dan Juruselamatnya secara pribadi. Ini disebut orang Kristen. Beda dengan orang yang beragama Kristen. Orang Kristen itu hukumnya wajib, untuk mempelajari Alkitab, sebagai dasar kebenaran dalam rangka mengetahui kehendak Allah dari zaman ke zaman.Di sisi lain, para pembelajar Alkitab sering mengalami kendala kebingungan, saat memahami kesinambungan dari isi Kitab Kejadian hingga Kitab Wahyu. Apakah ada saling keterkaitannya? Ataukah hanya kisah yang terpotong-potong dengan maksud yang berbeda-beda.Ada metode yang tepat guna dalam menghindarkan diri dari kebingungan saat melakukan proses pembelajaran ini. Metode ini telah dipahami sejak abad permulaan yang kemudian mulai populer ke seluruh dunia pada abad 19, dengan istilah Dispensasionalisme.Dispensasi merupakan suatu periode waktu di mana pada masa itu manusia diuji di dalam perspektif ketaatan kepada suatu wahyu spesifik dari kehendak Allah. Secara teologis kata dispensasi berarti sistem religius yang dipahami sebagai suatu ketetapan ilahi atau sebagai penunjuk cara pewahyuan secara progresif yang mengekspresikan perubahan kebutuhan bangsa secara individu atau periode waktu. Dispensasionalisme memandang dunia sebagai rumah tangga yang dijalankan atau dikerjakan oleh Allah.Teologi Dispensasi sering disalahmengerti oleh para teolog, tanpa mau mempelajari terlebih dahulu dengan teliti, di mana letak kejanggalannya? Pembahasan ini akan menunjukkan bahwa Dispensasionalisme merupakan pisau yang tajam untuk memahami Alkitab secara utuh.
