Abstract

Dela Laundry, a laundry business in Banggle Hamlet, Losari Village, Ploso Subdistrict, is still experiencing operational problems due to the use of manual record-keeping. This has the potential to cause data errors, delays in information, and reduce customer satisfaction. Therefore, a web-based information system is needed to speed up the service process, minimize the risk of errors, and provide transparency of the laundry process to customers. As a solution, this study designs and develops a Laundry Information System using the CodeIgniter 4 framework with PHP programming language and MySQL database. The development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This system aims to facilitate administrators and staff in managing customer data, orders, services, and reports, as well as allowing customers to monitor the status of their laundry orders online without needing to log in. Testing results using the Black Box Testing method showed that all system functions operated properly without any significant errors being detected. In addition, a feasibility test conducted through a questionnaire to users obtained an average score of 88%, which falls into the “Good” category and is suitable for use. Thus, this system is capable of making operational processes more structured, efficient, and transparent, as well as increasing customer satisfaction and supporting the development of small to medium-scale laundry businesses.

Abstract

Slow and limited availability of customer service during specific hours continues to be a significant challenge in the e-commerce sector, especially when it comes to providing prompt, detailed, and accurate product information. This study effectively created and implemented an intelligent chatbot utilizing the Groq API, which is capable of delivering automated, real-time customer assistance around the clock. The Groq API was chosen for its capacity to handle natural language data with exceptionally low latency, facilitating quick interactions between users and the system. The chatbot system was integrated into a skincare e-commerce platform and developed using the Waterfall methodology, which outlines the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system underwent functional testing and showed rapid and precise response performance. The testing outcomes reveal that the chatbot can provide replies with an average response time of roughly ±1.4 seconds and a response accuracy rate of 90%. Moreover, the chatbot is adept at maintaining appropriate domain boundaries while addressing out-of-context or non-skincare-related inquiries. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the designed chatbot operates effectively, improving customer service efficiency, speeding up the product consultation process, and potentially enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty on skincare e-commerce sites.

Abstract

Determining the priority of social assistance recipients is a semi-structured problem commonly faced by village governments and social institutions. The manual and subjective selection process often leads to mistargeting and inequitable distribution of aid. This study aims to implement a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the Mamdani Fuzzy method to determine the priority of social assistance recipients. The research object is data on prospective social assistance recipients in Sidowayah Village, Beji District, Pasuruan Regency. The criteria used include income, number of dependents, housing conditions, and employment status. The Mamdani Fuzzy method was selected because it effectively handles uncertainty and linguistic data in the decision-making process. The results demonstrate that the developed system can produce objective, consistent, and adaptive priority rankings for social assistance recipients compared to manual methods and the SAW method. Expert validation through interviews with village officials indicates that the system is deemed feasible for implementation, rated as valid to highly valid.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement an intelligent camera based on ESP32-CAM and YOLOv8 algorithm to detect objects of people and garbage in the river area. The system is built by integrating a PIR sensor as a motion trigger, an LM2596 step-down module as a voltage regulator, and a PHP/MySQL backend for storing detected data. The ESP32-CAM is programmed using an Arduino IDE to be able to capture images when the PIR sensor is active and send them to the server. Furthermore, YOLOv8 running with Python (FastAPI) is used to analyze the images and classify the detected objects. The test results showed that the system worked as designed, with an average response time of ±10.27 seconds from motion detection to recording results to the database. YOLOv8's detection accuracy reached 96% for people objects and 90% for junk objects, with an average overall accuracy of 93%. Although this system has not been able to detect waste disposal behavior directly, this research has succeeded in providing an initial foundation towards the development of environmental monitoring systems based on behavior detection in the future.

Abstract

The development of information technology has driven the transformation of library services into more effective and efficient digital systems.  One of the common problems faced by libraries is the delay in book returns and the lack of effective communication media between librarians and users/  This study aims to examine the implementation of a digital library book borrowing system integrated with WhatsApp as an automatic notification medium.  The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study and system analysis approach.  The results indicate that the integration of WhatsApp into the library borrowing system improves the accuracy of borrowing information, reduces delays in book returns, and enhances service quality.  Moreover, the system facilitates real-time information delivery through a communication platform that is widely used by users.  Therefore, utilizing WhatsApp as a notification medium is a relevant solution for developing digital library services in the information technology era.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology encourages business actors, including the garment manufacturing sector, to adopt digital information systems in order to improve marketing effectiveness and customer service quality. Faiz Konveksi, a micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise engaged in garment production services, still faces various challenges related to marketing, design communication, ordering, and payment processes that are not yet systematically integrated. This study aims to design and implement a website-based digital marketing information system equipped with an interactive custom design feature to facilitate customers in independently customizing product designs, improve the effectiveness of design communication, and integrate ordering and payment processes into a single platform. The research method consists of needs analysis, system design, system implementation, and system testing. The developed system supports three user roles, namely customer, administrator, and super administrator, and provides key features including a product catalog, three-dimensional interactive custom design, order management, online payment services, WhatsApp notification services, and sales and order reports. The results of implementation and system testing indicate that the proposed system is able to increase ordering efficiency, reduce design communication errors, and assist Faiz Konveksi in managing order and transaction data in a more effective and structured manner. Therefore, the website-based digital marketing information system is expected to enhance service quality, customer satisfaction, and the competitiveness of Faiz Konveksi in the digital era.

Abstract

Manual diploma service management often causes delays and limits students in obtaining real-time information about their application status. This study aims to design and implement a web-based diploma service management system that provides integrated and accessible administrative services. The system supports multiple user roles, allowing students to submit diploma requests, upload required documents, and monitor application status, while administrators verify documents and validate academic data. The development process follows a structured software development method consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Functional testing shows that all system features operate according to user needs. The resulting system enables structured diploma processing, accurate data verification, real-time status monitoring, and secure digital record management. The implementation of this system improves efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of diploma services and supports the digital transformation of academic administration.

Abstract

The management of campus facilities plays an important role in supporting academic and non-academic activities in higher education institutions. However, facility management processes are often conducted separately and are not fully integrated, resulting in delays in data processing, limited transparency, and difficulties in generating usage reports. This study aims to design and implement a web-based information system to improve transparency and afficiency in campus facility management.the system was developed using the waterfall method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stage. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and document analysis related to facility management processes. The resulting system is capable of managing facility data, borrowing and returning processes, maintenance records, reporting features, and master data with role-based access control for administrators. Functional testing was conducted using black-box testing to ensure that all system features operate according to predefined requirements. The results show that the system functions properly and support more structured, transparent, and well-documented facility management processes. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance efficiency, reduce miscommunication, and support decision-making in campus facility management

Abstract

Student activity service management is an important aspect in supporting the development of potential, participation, and administration of student activities in the university environment. At KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah University, the process of managing activities such as Field Experience Practice (PPL), internships, Community Service Programs (KKN), graduation ceremonies, and graduation ceremonies is still done manually, generally through WhatsApp groups. This method has limitations in terms of information reach, data documentation, and service efficiency. Therefore, this study aims to design and build a web-based student activity service management information system using the Laravel framework. Laravel was chosen because it supports the development of structured, secure, and efficient web applications with a Model-View-Controller (MVC) approach. The development method used is Waterfall, which includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results of this study are expected to produce a digital platform that can accelerate the process of delivering information, simplify activity registration, and support documentation and reporting of student activities in an integrated and real-time manner.

Abstract

The development of information technology requires stable internet access for corporate operations. The company Primantara Cendana Sakti, a printing service provider, experienced obstacles such as connection lag and significant speed drops due to uneven bandwidth distribution among users. This research aims to optimize network performance by designing a configuration using a MikroTik router. The study employs a virtual network development model consisting of analysis, design, and configuration phases. The proposed solution implements the Simple Queue method for equitable bandwidth allocation and Firewall Filter Rules to restrict non-productive traffic. Results indicate that the implementation successfully eliminates connection monopolies, ensuring each personal computer receives a stable allocation of two Megabits per second for downloads and one Megabit per second for uploads. Furthermore, the security layer effectively blocks high-risk traffic such as peer-to-peer packets and unauthorized video streaming. This structured approach transforms the previously unmanaged environment into a high-performance ecosystem. The system ensures that the network is performance-balanced and resilient against cyber threats. Consequently, operational efficiency and data security within the company are significantly improved. This research provides a structured guide for small and medium enterprises to optimize their wireless fidelity network infrastructure.
