Abstract

Information technology plays a significant role in the governance of higher education institutions. Most of these institutions utilize integrated information system applications in the management decision-making processes. Student affairs is one of the strategic areas managed in higher education institutions. Student affairs area requires efficient data and information management related to the operations and management of student activities through the application of information systems. Meanwhile, agile development methodology can be used to develop information system applications that are responsive to user needs. By utilizing the Scrum framework that adopts the principles of agile methodology, this study presents a list of application requirements for student information systems in the product backlog and sprint backlog artifact formats. There are 31 product backlog items that have been identified through the results of user story analysis. The product backlog can then be implemented into application features for student affairs management information systems.

Abstract

In the Madiun, the recording process (incident reporting) carried out by members of the Sector Police still uses printed type and is sent in the form of an official letter. In the police supervision section, the police in this area are still manual, namely recapitulating and printing activities to be reported to the police chief. The purpose of this research is to create a website-based information system that will feature the process of reporting criminal & non-criminal events as well as performance features for police officers who function as supervision and monitoring of police performance. The development method used in this research is a waterfall with the stages of gathering requirements, the design process, implementation, integration or testing and the last is operation. In testing the system, the author uses the Blackbox Testing method in which the functionality of this system will be tested whether it is as expected or not. Based on these tests the authors can draw the conclusion that with this system it can make it easier for police members in the process of reporting criminal and non-criminal events around them and make it easier for the police chief in the process of monitoring or monitoring the performance of his members.

Abstract

In this study writers will design a safer and more efficient membership information system at alto myshouse fitness center. At present alto myshouse still use a manual membership system in which their members fill out membership forms using paper media that is then stored. This system has many flaws like member data can easily disappear or malfunction. Therefore, compl erasing web-based membership information systems that will assist security and efficiency in locating member data and also to simplify the application process, a system that can systematize registration systems for members, instructors and schedules is included in the database. So that system users get their desired information quickly and accurately. Therefore, the membership information system design based on the website is made accessible to members. To design this website based membership information system collecting the necessary data through direct observation and interview with admin of alto myshouse. The program is then made to use PHP as programming language and mysql for database storage. The major stage of system design includes analysis of the requirements of software, system design, coding, testing, implementation and maintenance of programs created. This web-based information system will be able to improve current system weaknesses.

Abstract

BAUK is one of the work units at STIKI Malang which has the duty and authority to manage the inventory activities of non-IT facilities and infrastructure at STIKI Malang. Inventory must be carried out to ensure the quality, existence and management process of thousands of inventories in an institution. Previous research couldn’t be implemented due to differences in Inventory SOP and the lack of features made. The Information System for Inventorying Non-IT Facilities and Infrastructure at STIKI Malang which is currently being developed can record inventory faster and be able to display the latest accurate data, and provide features that are in accordance with the SOP for Inventorying the BAUK unit. The Information System for Inventorying Non-IT Facilities and Infrastructure at STIKI Malang is also equipped with features that can assist the BAUK unit in making decisions regarding the inventory process at STIKI Malang. With a research and development research method approach, this information system provides a broader development with updated features and services that are in line with the current needs of the BAUK unit inventory business process. The developments that have been carried out have resulted in new features and services that can help overcome existing problems in the BAUK unit, making it easier for the BAUK unit to carry out the inventory process at STIKI Malang.

Abstract

Cloning is the process by which the contents of a harddisk move to another harddisk. This process can make it easier for users not to install the the operating system and install applications from scratch. Harddisk cloning over the network is done by moving the master harddisk (harddisk source) to the slave harddisk (Harddisk destinaton). In the process of cloning with a network, the main harddisk and the second harddisk to be cloned remain on their respective computers without moving the second harddisk to the main harddisk to be parallel. There are many application programs used in the hard disk cloning process over the network, among which will e discussed, namely Redo Rescue and Arconis True Image. These two applications are very similar which makes the difference only in appearance and in terms of ease of use.

Abstract

AOMEI Partition Assistant and Easeus Todo Backup are program applications that perform backup, recovery processes and are most often used for cloning a computer when performing maintenance that requires re-installation, providing benefits to simplify the process of cloning a hard drive. This research was conducted using a qualitative and experimental approach. This study was conducted in a computer laboratory at the Faculty of Information Technology, Merdeka University, Malang. In the laboratory there are 30 computers, but researchers only use 1 PC with 1 master hard drive on the main PC and 1 slave hard drive as the destination for data cloning results. Using the Easeus Todo Backup and AOMEI Partition Assistant cloning applications can make it easier to repair the Information Technology Faculty Laboratory, compared to Easeus Todo Backup, the AOMEI Partition Assistant application can already partition hard drives, both master and slave hard drives, and can process hard drive cloning to hard drive, hard drive to SSD or reverse. The application of the AOMEI Partition Assistant cloning application can also speed up the maintenance if a PC is damaged or laboratory construction requires a large number of operating system installations and requires a quicktime, the AOMEI Partition Assistant cloning application is very suitable to be implemented.

Abstract

The Gereja Kristus Tuhan (GKT) Antiokhia is one of the churches in Malang that has an uncomputerized data processing system, especially in the financial section which is still written on the financial cash book. This does not close the possibility of errors either in writing or misacalculations. Therefore, a web based cash flow management system is proposed for churches to process financial data and make financial reports more effective and efficient. This study used observation and interview methods for data collection and systems designed using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter 3.0 Framework, and Android Studio with Mysql as the database. At the implementation stage, application testing will be carried out using the black box method, and the results of this financial information system produce a financial dashboard for processing financial cash data consisting of income and expenses as well as financial statements of monthly income and expenses. This application is accessed online through the Website and is equipped with an android application to display financial dashboards and financial reports.

Abstract

The high number of transactions at the Gadung Dama rice mill makes it difficult for managers to manage these transactions if done manually by telephone. This study aims to build an information system that can assist the Gadung Dama rice mill in managing the rice mill service business, namely the ordering of goods, drying registration, milling and storage of goods. The result of this research is the creation of an information system that can help manage sales of goods, make it easier for customers to find out the price of goods and stock of goods, make it easier for customers to place orders and upload proof of payment, and make it easier for customers to register for leasing services for drying, milling, and storage . In addition, this system has a queuing system to make it easier for the drying admin to manage the existing queues.

Abstract

Real estate agencies are here to help people find their dream home. There are lots of housing with various types of houses. Prospective buyers have a hard time deciding on their dream home, and so do real estate agencies. Housing agencies have difficulty providing housing recommendations according to the wishes of prospective buyers. Housing has many criteria such as location factors, land area, building area, price and others. To help the Housing Agency Team recommend housing with optimal results, a Decision Support System (DSS) is needed, which is an interactive information system that provides information and manipulates data. The appropriate method is the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method used for decision making with many criteria. A view that can make it easier for the Marketing Team to see housing locations requires a map-based application (Geographical Information System). The results of this study are a decision support system for selecting the best housing.
