Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of leadership style at PT Trias Sentosa to the company's management. Every company certainly has a leader, where his leadership will affect employee performance. Based on leadership theory, that a leader has a big influence on the good and bad development of a company. The method in this research uses descriptive qualitative research. The results of the research on the application of leadership to the management function at PT. Trias Sentosa, Tbk, namely: 1) setting the direction of business goals and targets, 2) developing strategies in achieving these goals and targets, 3) determining the required resources, 4) setting standards of success in achieving business goals and targets.

Abstract

The banking industry is an industry that is full of risks, especially because it concerns the management of people's money and is filtered in the form of investment. This article uses literature study research. To minimize the risks faced, bank management must have adequate expertise and competence, so that various risks that have the potential to arise can be anticipated from the beginning, and seen for better handling. The types of risks presented by economists are very diverse but substantially similar to each other. Broadly speaking, the grouping of risks carried out by economists is almost the same description and scope. The larger and more modern banks, the more and more complex the risks they face. Financial risks faced by the banking industry can be broadly grouped into 5 (five) major risks, namely: (1) credit risk, (2) market risk, (3) liquidity risk, (4) operational risk, and (5) capital risk. These risks are presented in financial ratios, which indicate that: the performance that management achieves in managing the bank.

Abstract

The goals of this research is to ascertain how financial literacy, income, and self-control relate to students at Sriwijaya State Polytechnic's individual financial management. A Likert scale is a quantitative research tool that was employed in this research. Data was gathered by mail Google Form surveys to students. The Sriwijaya State Polytechnic class of 2021 students make up the research population. There were thirty responders in the sample. A questionnaire was utilized as the data collecting tool, and the SPSS version 25.0 for Windows computer was used to process the data using the multiple regression analysis technique. The following are the research's findings: Individuals' self-control, income, and financial literacy all have a big impact on how they handle their own finances. Personal financial management is significantly improved by financial literacy. Income significantly and favorably affects how well a person manages their personal finances. The ability to restrain oneself significantly improves management. Personal loans for Sriwijaya State Polytechnic students.

Abstract

Through the use of financial ratios, this study seeks to ensure the financial performance of PT Hutama Karya. This study examines numerical data, including financial statements from PT Hutama Karya income statement 2020 to 2022 and statement of financial position, using quantitative descriptive analysis methodology. According to research findings, the poor performance of PT Hutama Karya as indicated by the liquidity ratio (current ratio, quick ratio) is caused by the company's reduced ability to meet the approaching maturity. PT Hutama Karya financial performance is characterized by unhealthy solvency ratios (debt to equity, debt to asset ratio) because its total debt continues to increase every year. When considering profitability statistics (ROA, ROE, ROI, and operating profit margin), PT Hutama Karya low financial performance can be attributed to the inadequate performance of the company's management in overseeing its operations.

Abstract

In the midst of economic uncertainty and the transition from non-renewable natural resources, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of the Indonesian economy. Even though technological developments continue, many MSMEs have not yet utilized it, especially social media as a marketing tool to improve their business performance in the digital era. This research aims to describe the use of social media as a marketing tool for MSMEs in the era of digitalization. The method used is library research, with a focus on the role of social media as a marketing tool for MSMEs. This research discusses the extent to which social media is used as a marketing tool for MSMEs in the digital era to increase sales, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of using social media as a marketing tool. Literature analysis was carried out by collecting data from relevant scientific articles published on Google Scholar between 2019 and 2024. The research results show that the use of social media by MSMEs provides many benefits, including building a stronger brand image and increasing customer loyalty. However, despite much progress, MSMEs still face various challenges in the era of digitalization.

Abstract

Corporate strategy is essential in dealing with global changes. PT XYZ is an international-scale company that requires the right strategy especially in marketing its products. Using the matrix analysis method IFE, EFE, IE, and SPACE by obtaining data based on interviews with one person who is influential in making decisions in the company, the company's internal factors and external factors that influence company performance are obtained. The results of this study are based on the IFE matrix the company has eight strength variables and two weakness variables, based on the EFE matrix the company has six opportunity variables and four threat variables, based on the IE matrix the company can take advantage of existing opportunities, and based on the SPACE matrix the company is in stable condition and has a role in the market.

Abstract

The internet is now a modern lifestyle phenomenon in everyday life, the ease in accessing the Internet then raises the idea that in searching for information the Internet is as the primary source of reference. Seeing a fairly good opportunity in the e-commerce industry, various companies that operate in the field of e-trade are also emerging. It is known that there was a significant increase in e-commerce transactions in Indonesia where the study also obtained information that Indonesians prefer to shop online. Besides, women are happier when buying products in e-commerce including skincare products that are skintific. The research method used in this research is the quantitative method, which can be defined as a kind of research that is systematic and structured with clear stages, aimed at describing a social phenomenon that exists. Reviewed from the purpose of this research is categorized as research testing hypothesis while the approach used is descriptive quantitative. In this study, researchers used questionnaire techniques that were distributed or given to live audiences or users on skintific products. The Sampling technique used is probability sampling. The number of samples taken is 100 respondents. Research results show that there is a significant influence between affiliate marketing and brand image on impulse buying Skintific products on Shopee Live on Generation Z

Abstract

Monetary economics plays an important role in maintaining price stability. This study aims to determine the factors in monetary economics that can affect the trade balance in Indonesia in the last 3 years, 2021-2023. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a correlation type of research. The analysis tool is the IBM SPSS program. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression (Time Series Data). The data source for this research was obtained from the BPS. This study aims to test whether or not there is an influence of monetary economics on the trade balance from the indicator variables X (inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates) to the indicator variable Y (trade balance). Based on the research results, the trade balance is significantly influenced by interest rates, inflation, and exchange rates simultaneously. This shows that monetary and economic factors have an impact on Indonesia's trade balance.

Abstract

One indicator to see the economic development of a country is to look at the value of international trade or what is commonly referred to as export-import activities. This activity is one of the foreign exchanges for the country. Proper planning will increase this activity which will also have an impact on increasing the country's foreign exchange. To improve the welfare of the Indonesian people, one alternative is to increase the rate of economic activity in Indonesia, one of which is export activity. Increasing export activities is inseparable from the right economic strategy. The strategy can be formed by knowing the economic market conditions, namely by forecasting. One of the forecasting methods that can be applied is the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average or ARIMA method. The best ARIMA model that fulfills is the ARIMA (2,1,0) model because of the smallest AIC value.

Abstract

Student participation in campus organizations is a vital aspect of their personal and academic development. Engagement in these organizations enriches students' academic experiences and fosters essential soft skills such as leadership, communication, and teamwork. This study evaluates the effectiveness of student involvement in campus organizations by analyzing various impacts, including academic performance, interpersonal skill development, and readiness for the workforce. Data from multiple sources indicate that students active in campus organizations exhibit higher leadership abilities, better academic performance, and increased employability. However, the study also highlights challenges such as balancing organizational responsibilities with academic commitments. Through a comprehensive literature review by considering relevant books and journals, this research identifies key factors influencing the effectiveness of student participation and provides recommendations for universities to enhance student involvement. Ultimately, the findings underscore the significant role of campus organizations in preparing students for future professional and personal challenges, advocating for institutional support to maximize the benefits of such participation.
