Abstract

This study assesses financial performance in the short term by using liquidity ratios and profitability ratios. The liquidity ratio describes the company's ability to pay its financial obligations that must be met immediately, which consists of the Current Ratio and Quick Ratio. The profitability ratio is used to measure the company's ability to generate profits in the form of ROA and ROE. The company will try to maximize the value of its shares which is indicated by its share price. This study aims to analyze how much influence the profitability ratios, namely ROA and ROE, on the stock prices of the banking sector included in the LQ45 list. This type of research is a review article by taking research that has been done previously.

Abstract

Management control is a company activity that is the last bastion to ensure that all components of the company work according to predetermined standards. This assurance needs to be obtained as part of the efforts of the Management and the company to provide the best results to consumers. Success in the control process, in several studies will have an impact on various aspects of company activities such as achieving efficiency and effectiveness in the production process. By using a quantitative approach, involving employees of the production department as respondents, this study attempts to find a correlation between management control and employee performance.

Abstract

Empowering the creative industry is one of the strategies of the Indonesian Ministry of Trade as an effort to strengthen the national economy. The creative industry, which is dominated by small and medium enterprises, is an industrial sector that is more resistant to various economic crises. As evidenced by various economic crises and the last one being the economic crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the creative industry as part of small and medium enterprises has become an industry that is quick to adjust to the existing situation compared to large-scale industries. In general, the creative industry sector also has a significant economic contribution to the Indonesian economy which can create a positive business climate, strengthen the image and identity of the Indonesian nation. One of the efforts to increase product competitiveness is through brand image. Building a brand image cannot be done instantly, it is necessary to sacrifice resources so that the product has a special identity that will maintain the competitiveness of the product. Through case study qualitative research methods, this research aims to build a brand image in the creative economy industry as a form of investment that can maintain business continuity. The creative industry needs to position the brand as a valuable asset that can provide benefits in the future. Through in-depth interviews with creative industry players, the factors needed to build a brand image in helping business continuity in terms of increasing company sales are obtained. This research is expected to provide practical benefits for creative industry players by building their brand image so that they are able to compete and survive in business competition with large industrial products that already have brands

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of credit providers, accounting information systems and human resource competencies on the performance of MSMEs. In this study, the dependent variable and the independent variable were used, and the data sources in this study used primary and secondary data. This research uses descriptive analysis method, data instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. This research was conducted on the owners of Dinoyo Ceramic SMEs in Malang City. The sampling technique in this study uses the census method or complete enumeration, that is, if all members of the population become the sample, so the sample in this study is 32 SMEs. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the provision of credit has an effect on the performance of MSMEs. Accounting Information System has an effect on MSME Performance. And Human Resource Competence has an effect on the performance of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of financial management transparency and accountability on the performance of education personnel with leadership style as a moderating variable at 21 SMPN 21 Kota Malang. The population in this study amounted to 50 people with a sampling technique using saturated samples where all populations were sampled. The results of this study indicate that financial management transparency affects the performance of education personnel, financial management accountability affects the performance of education personnel, leadership style affects the performance of education personnel and transparency on the performance of educators through mediation of financial management accountability at State SMPN 21 Kota Malang. Meanwhile, leadership style can moderate the relationship between transparency on the performance of education personnel, leadership style can moderate the relationship between accountability to the performance of education personnel, and leadership style can moderate the relationship between transparency through mediating accountability on the performance of education personnel at SMPN 21 Kota Malang.

Abstract

This studi aims to determine the effect of time management on student achievment in economics Education at the State University f Medan. The type of research is quantiative research using IBM SPSS version 22. Data collection techniques are through questionnaries, observation and documentation. The result of the study show that there is a positive and significant effect of time manjement on learning achievment with t acount of 5,264 which is greater than t table of 1,990.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of work ability and work experience of employees through work motivation at the Agency for Personnel and Human Resources Development in Malang City. The mediating variable is the influence of work ability on employee performance through work motivation and the effect of work experience on employee performance through work motivation. The population in this study were all employees who worked at the Agency for Personnel and Human Resources Development (BKPSDM) Malang City which found 47 people. The sampling technique used in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The data used in this study is primary data from the results of questionnaires. The method in this research is the validity and reliability test, Classical Assumptions which consists of normality test and multicollinearity test. The analytical tool in this study uses Path Analysis with the SPSS for Windows version 22 program. The results showed that the direct effect of using three variables, namely work ability, work experience and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. While the indirect effect uses two variables, namely work ability and work experience, which has a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Then the mediating variable, namely work motivation affects work ability and work experience on employee performance.

Abstract

. The objectives of this research to be achieved are (1) To understand human resource development efforts to improve employee performance at the Office of Youth and Sports Education Office of West Sumba Regency (2) To understand the inhibiting factors in human resource development efforts to improve employee performance. at the Office of Education, Youth and Sports of West Sumba Regency. This type of research is qualitative research, namely research that intends to understand the phenomena of what is experienced by research subjects such as behavior, perceptions, motivations, actions and others, holistically and with a special natural context and by utilizing various natural methods. From the results of this study, it is known that several factors are instrumental in efforts to develop Human Resources (HR) to improve employee performance at the Department of Youth and Sports Education, Kab. West Sumba, among others; (1) Leadership Policy, (2) Infrastructure, (3) Infrastructure, (4) Organizational Culture, (5) Employees. Meanwhile, several obstacles in the Efforts to Develop Human Resources to Improve Employee Performance at the Office of the Youth and Sports Education Office of West Sumba Regency, among others, are as follows; (1) Lack of Human Resources owned by employees, (2) Regional Infrastructure, (3) Infrastructure for the Office of Youth and Sports Education, (4) Influence of the application of local culture, (5) Employee welfare.

Abstract

This study intends to find out how the meaning of profit for MSME entrepreneurs. This is due to the lack of knowledge of entrepreneurs in recording to find out the profits obtained in their business activities. The perception of profit according to them is how their business continues to run and can be used again for further capital. Through this research, it is expected to find a suitable concept in applying accounting science, especially in determining profit. This research is a qualitative research that reveals a unique meaning of accounting as understood by MSME entrepreneurs. Therefore, it is necessary to deepen the entity by using the phenomenological qualitative research method. Based on the results of the research conducted, that MSME entrepreneurs actually already understand the importance of an accounting practice in determining the profit from their business activities. This is evidenced by collecting evidence of business transactions and making small notes during the business as well as how to determine the profit in each transaction. In addition, they consider the benefits not only material but there are non-material benefits that they get. However, farmers have difficulty in compiling a good and correct financial report so that they never know how much profit for sure in each planting period. This is due to the lack of knowledge of good and correct accounting practices according to applicable standards. The recording carried out by the entrepreneur is only limited to a "simple" record, namely cash in and cash out for reminders from the entrepreneur. So according to them, the only profit they get is the rest of the capital issued in each period. In addition, according to them, it is not only material that they get but there is peace of mind in carrying out transaction activities.

Abstract

PT Alhamdulillah Berkah Barokah is a distributor of LPG gas that was established with a background of social concern for the community and also for children who want to receive free education through a family-owned foundation. Determining the right source and use of working capital is necessary in order to achieve company success in the short or long term. Working capital is defined as the capital used to finance the company's daily operations, especially those with a short term. The focus of this research is to find out how PT Alhamdulillah Berkah Barokah obtains and uses its working capital. Working capital at PT Alhamdulillah Berkah Barokah has the overall meaning of the funds and also the intention at the beginning that was used to set up to meet the operational needs of the company. Sources of working capital are obtained from internal companies and are used for business operational purposes. The components of working capital consist of cash, accounts receivable, and income. This research combines a case study approach with a descriptive qualitative methodology. The results of the study show that the management of sources and use of PT Alhamdulilah Berkah Barokah's working capital is not affected by the presence of covid-19 in 2020 to 2021. PT Alhamdulillah Berkah Barokah can still successfully carry out its business operations and consistently obtain profits that are used as additional working capital and also used for social activities during the Covid-19 pandemic
