Abstract

In this digital era, hybrid skills are needed to enable people to add value beyond the application of technology (Technical skills). However, organizations will always be run by humans, not robots. They work in an organization requires communication skills, collaboration, empathy, and so on. It is important for a recruiter to get talents with hybrid skills combined with qualified technical and non-technical skills. The research design used is the literature review method. Therefore, the nature of this research is descriptive analysis, by revealing, describing, and explaining related to the research topic, namely the analysis of how recruiters identify the capacity of hybrid skills in candidates through regular analysis of the literature that has been obtained. Hybrid skill is considered more capable of describing the workforce in completing tasks with maximum performance. In the labor recruitment process, companies have problems in the labor market that do not meet the qualifications of the soft skills and hard skills of each applicant are not balanced. In order for companies to improve the skills of workers efficiently and utilize their talents more effectively, they must be able to identify both the skills workers already have and those they will need.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit almost all countries, including Indonesia. COVID-19 has had a huge impact on the entire community, especially employees. One of the impacts that occurred was the implementation of Work from Home (WFH), this was done as an effort to reduce the transmission rate of COVID-19. However, the direct effect that occurred was that employees faced several conflicts such as stress, frustration and imbalances in life. On this basis, researchers want to know the role given by work life balance on employee performance during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is a study of the literature which is based on studies of previous studies that match the criteria for the same research variables. The results obtained in this study are work life balance by applying flexible time, increasing job satisfaction, and also to increase employee self-control which is predicted to improve the performance of employees who apply WFH.

Abstract

This study aims to find information about the implementation of the Education and Training (Diklat) program at the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of Southeast Sulawesi Province. This study uses the Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM). This study uses a qualitative method with a population of social situations at the Human Resources Development Agency of Southeast Sulawesi Province, Regency and City with a sample of 24 informants from the province and 60 regencies and cities. The data analysis results show that: 1) the quality of the implementation of education and training programs for the apparatus is in accordance with the implementation of tasks that have been required by the institution; 2) the results of performance achievements show various responses from each informant; 3) the implementation of the Education and Training program at the Provincial BPSDM has reached the standard, while the Regency and City have not yet reached the standard; 4) Influential factors in the implementation of the education and training program are supported through the provision of infrastructure, widyaiswara/resources/trainers, methods, evaluation and follow-up. The findings recommend that institutions need to provide the necessary infrastructure, allocate APBD funds, competency-based curriculum, and post-training alumni follow-up activities.

Abstract

One of the language variations used by many people is slang. Slang is one of language variations in sociolinguistics used by society to interact each other. In this study, the author analyse the slang words used in The Boss Baby movie script. The purposes of this research are: 1) To know the types of slang words used by the characters in The Boss Baby movie; and 2) To know the reasons why the characters use some slang words in The Boss Baby movie. The author used the theory of slang words and the reasons by Eric Partirdge to answer the problem of the research. This research is descriptive qualitative and used the documentation method in collecting the data. The author discovered that there are three types of slang words used in the movie: Public house slang (kid, buddy, guys), medical slang (suck) and society slang (yeah, dad, dob, gonna, gotcha, fiflty, mommy, nada, cool, a-s-a-p, punk, bummer, gotta, wanna, guts, sweetie). Meanwhile, the reasons why the movie characters use slang words are to show or induce either friendliness, to be brief, to ease social intercouse, to sheer high spirit, to reject and to lessen the awkwardness.

Abstract

This study aims to discover LGBT has become the most potential threat to the existence of sexual identity. In some religious countries, LGBT which stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender will give complicated conflicts. It raises the pros and cons in the society. This study investigates LBGT as the unfamiliar issues in societies as reflected in The Danish Girl by David Ebershoff. This issue sometimes becomes ‘scourge’ because it against the principle of certain religion. LGBT is considered to violate the nature to which has been given by God. This issue is a ‘scourge’ in some societies groups. Meanwhile, it is often discussed by certain institutions supporting LGBT.  This study is a qualitative research which applies Harry Benjamin’s theory of transsexual related to gender studies. The results reveal that 1) Einar Wegener is described as a man who has feminine tendency, submissive, inferior and emotional, 2) there are internal conflicts such as Einar’s having less confident in wearing man’s clothes, being sexually attracted to the same gender and struggling for identity determination, 3) Having the presence of finding identity, Einar has solution for his identity how to be a real woman by genital surgery.

Abstract

Planning is the process of achieving organizational goals, in order to achieve the goal of developing an organizational work activity plan. The budget is very important to do in order to be able to finance all the needs of the program that is run and its realization can be in accordance with the set budget. Meanwhile, performance is what is done and what is not done by the employee is the work that has been achieved by the employee. The purpose of this study was to determine the function of budget planning on the achievement of employee performance at the Secretariat of the DPRD City of Medan. In this study the author uses a qualitative research approach. Analyzing research data using primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques in the form of observations and interviews obtained from the Medan City DPRD Secretariat Office in 2021 show that the planning function towards the achievement of employee performance is positive and significant to the achievement of employee performance at the Medan City DPRD Secretariat Office.

Abstract

Social media is very trending used among teenagers to communicate. The information contained is not only in a positive form but is conveyed also in negative forms such as sexual harassment. The study's problem is to find out why teens are sexually harassed through social media. The purpose of this study was to find out the forms of sexual abuse committed by adolescents and how to overcome them. Research methods are qualitatively descriptive with critical paradigms. The informant of this study is a teenagers as perpetrators and victims of sexual abuse. Data were collected through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results of this study suggest that sexual harassment is highly likely to occur in public spaces, specifically through social media. Perpetrators are very easy to publish negative information with the aim of arousing martyrdom. Such information is like teasing the victim both in the comments field, sending negative images, and making video calls by showing physical forms that lead to pornographic elements. The occurrence of sexual harassment through social media certainly has an impact on high levels of fear and anxiety for victims. The recommendation in this study is that it is necessary to educate teenagers as the next generation of the nation to be smart in using social media with positive content.

Abstract

The development of health services will include good values, including increasing the quality and quantity of nurses and preparing facilities and infrastructure as well as the use of modern tools as a tool for health services to the community, which is the embodiment of nurses as state assets and community assets in carrying out their duties. Centro Saúde Sub-Distrito Same as a partner agency of government institutions that deal directly with the community in providing health services in the form of Centro Sade should provide excellent service quickly, carefully, and accurately without forgetting the human and legal aspects. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the ability and work motivation of nurses on the quality of health services at the Centro Saúde Sub-distrito Same, Distrito Manufahi in 2011. The method used in this study was a descriptive analytic survey method (Population). The magnitude of the correlation effect of the X1 ability variable on the Y health service quality variable is 0.7272 x 100% = 53% while the remaining 47% is determined by other factors. (2) the magnitude of the correlation effect of the X2 Motivation variable on the Y health service quality variable is 0.4832 x 100% = 0.23% while the remaining 77% is determined by other factors. And (3) the magnitude of the relationship between the variables of ability (X1) and work motivation (X2) on the quality of health services Y is 0.3882 x 100% = 15.1% while the remaining 84.9% is influenced by other factors. The study found that the effect of the ability variable (X1) and nurses' work motivation (X2) on the quality of health services (Y) of 0.76 was strong. While the joint contribution (simultaneous) of the variables X1 and X2 to Y or the determinant coefficient = r2 x 100% or 0.762 x 100% = 58% while the remaining 42% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

A child is a god's word given to both parents. The child is born in a holy and clean state, the child is born helpless and has not been able to do anything, so it still depends on others who are more mature. The birth of a child in this world is a direct result of the civilization of his parents, this shows that both parents must bear all the risks arising from his actions that are responsible for the maintenance of his child as a mandate of God. Caring for children is a heavy responsibility because we will create a generation that will continue our ideals, as parents that have not been achieved. The purpose of this panel is to understand the Phenomenon of Child Problems in Poso Regency. Metodology of this research qualitatively by prioritizing secondary data for data analysis materials. The results showed that the problem of children in Poso there are four aspects, namely: The results showed that the problem of children in Poso there are four aspects, namely: Civil Rights and Children's Freedom, education, school Participation Figures, Pure Participation figures, rough Participation figures, Family Environment Birth Certificate and Alternative Parenting Early Marriage Primary Health and Welfare Infant Mortality Life Expectancy.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) to identify and provide an overview related to the hard work of a mother as a river sand miner in meeting the needs of family life and (2) To identify and provide an overview related to the disclosure of a mother as a river sand miner in meeting the needs of family life in Hamlet III Pombaloya, Nupabomba Village. qualitative research methods with the purposive withdrawal of informants. The results showed that based on the flow of activities mothers as sand miners must first finish (a) homework starting from dawn by preparing breakfast and cleaning the house. Next (b) work from morning to night to mine sand in the river. The work is done for several reasons for survival and changing the fate conveyed in the dimension of self-disclosure, namely (a) daily eating needs, (b) the need for education, and (c) the need for medicine.
