Abstract

PT Petrokimia Gresik is the most complete fertilizer producer in Indonesia and produces various types of fertilizers. NPK is a fertilizer that contains nitrogen (N) to make plants greener, phosphorus (P) to stimulate root growth, and potassium (K) to make plants more upright and sturdy. This study aims to determine the optimum value of using sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and ammonia so as to obtain the best value in producing NPK fertilizer. This research method uses quantitative descriptive research methods by collecting secondary data, namely the use of sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and ammonia for a period of 1 year. Researchers use multiple regression analysis to determine whether or not there is an influence between the three variables to be studied, then the data is processed and analyzed to determine whether the regression model used is feasible to use before finally calculating the optimal point of NPK fertilizer production. The stages of data optimization in this study are the data collection stage, the data processing stage (descriptive data, parameter estimation, regression model), the data analysis and interpretation stage (F test, t test, IIDN assumption test for determining the optimum point), and the conclusion and suggestion stage. This study concluded that obtaining the optimum point for the amount of NPK fertilizer production can be done by regulating the use of phosphoric acid at 211.91 tons, Sulphuric acid at 844,099 tons, and ammonia at 308,055 tons. Total fertilizer production achieved with the use of optimum parameters amounted to 2085.38 tons.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a formulation with the active ingredient Stichopus hermanii for antidiabetic treatment or function to lower blood glucose levels. The formulation approach taken is to design a formula in the form of solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN), where this system is expected to optimize absorption and improve the performance of the active substance. The SLN characterization includes particle size measurement, zeta potential, polydispersity index analysis, and morphology analysis using TEM. The antihyperglycemic activity test will be tested in vivo using male white rats using the glucose tolerance test method and induced by streptozotocin. The results of the TEM analysis showed that the sea cucumber spherical in shape. The particle size of the formula was found to be 0.25 nm. The polydispersion index (PDI) of the formulation was 67.5%, 2%, and 0.5%, respectively. In the same test, male rats were given treatment according to the group division, namely 50% glucose at a dose of 3 g/kg bw 30 minutes later and the blood sugar levels were measured at 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes using a glucometer. In a follow-up test, the administration of test samples (days -3, 6, 9, 12, and 15) of CMC Na, metformin, and 25 mg/kg body weight of the test group showed that blood sugar level decreased with the highest decrease in positive control group. In conclusion, the results showed that sea cucumbers could be developed as a functional food product to help battle the onset of diabetes and diabetic complications.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of environmental management and firm performance on firm value, which is moderated by good corporate governance, which is proxied by board size and independent commissioners. The research design is quantitative research with the title "The Influence of Environmental Management and Firm Performance on Firm Value Moderated by Good Corporate Governance". The data source is secondary data collected from the IDX (Indonesian Stock Exchange) website to access financial report data of mining sector manufacturing companies, for the period 2017 - 2022. The population of this research is mining sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2017-2022 period. The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. The results show that there is no direct influence from ISO certification on ROA (Return on Assets). There is a significant positive effect of firm value from the environmental management and firm performance variable, moderated by board size. However, the presence of independent commissioners does not moderate the effect of ISO and ROA on firm value. This means that the existence of directors can moderate the implementation of ISO 14001 on company value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, and trust affect the behavioral intention to use shopeepay users in DKI Jakarta. This research is quantitative. The survey was conducted on 160 respondents who are or have used shopeepay. Data analysis was carried out using structural equation modeling with AMOS. The results show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and trust variables have a significant positive influence on behavioral intention. However, this is different from perceived enjoyment which has a positive and insignificant influence on behavioral intention to use. This is different from perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived enjoyment which show insignificant results if mediated by trust. Research reveals that overall trust makes the greatest contribution to behavioral intention to use, followed by perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. So the conclusion is that companies can increase behavioral intention to use through personal information data security which is the largest contributor indicator to personal information security from hacking. The limitations in the research, among others, the limited theoretical studies up to the time of data collection, the location and research objects which only focused on e-wallet users in the DKI Jakarta area, and the number of respondents who had not reached the maximum limit that should have been.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the relationship between the variables observed in this group of subjects. The main data source was obtained by collecting data from respondents using questionnaires online or in person when meeting students at Bunda Mulia University on the Ancol campus and Serpong campus, and subordinate data sources were obtained from the literature study. The results of processing respondent data found that the investment motivation variable has a negative and significant effect on students' investment decisions in the capital market. The second hypothesis is that investment knowledge is a factor that influences investment decisions in the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). It can be interpreted that investment interest acts as a mediating factor that bridges the relationships between the independent variables and dependent variables. Therefore, it is hoped that students will be able to provide education about investment to the public as well as advance the Indonesian capital market, especially for students at Jenderal Soedirman University, so that the number of new investors among students continues to increase and increase.

Abstract

Pregnant women with hypertension in pregnancy will experience physical and psychological discomfort, so complementary therapy is needed through self-suggestion techniques and spiritual therapy. This study aimed to determine the effect of  Benson relaxation on anxiety and blood pressure of pregnant women with hypertension in pregnancy. This study used a Quasi-Experimental study with a randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample was 46 respondents divided into two groups: the treatment and control groups. The study was conducted in 2 weeks. The results showed that there were 13 respondents whose anxiety scores were better. Statistical test results showed differences in the pre-test and post-test values with the Wilcoxon P-test value 0.002. The Mann-Whitney test showed a p-value of 0.046. Chi-square test results showed a p-value 0.011. Variable blood pressure: the average systolic pressure before being given the intervention was 141.39 mmHg to 133.65 mmHg after the intervention was given. Diastolic blood pressure from 91.30 mmHg to 86.70 mmHg. Statistics test results with paired t-tests showed a p-value 0.000, meaning that there were differences before and after the intervention. Benson relaxation influenced the decrease in anxiety, and declined blood pressure of pregnant women.

Abstract

Consumer protection laws have been in effect in Indonesia for 23 years, but consumer complaints seem to never end and even tend to increase. According to National Consumer Protection Agency (BPKN) complaint data, the three sectors with the most consumer complaints in the last five years have been financial services, e-commerce, and housing, as well as health services, transportation, telecommunications, food and beverage, cosmetics, and household gas electricity. Business transactions and dispute resolution are affected by information and technology improvements. Since the disruptive transaction system has transitioned from manual transaction patterns in traditional markets to digital transactions in online marketplaces, institutional strengthening of consumer protection is urgently needed. Strengthening consumer protection institutions is a genuine problem in the context of future consumer protection laws. Economic policy is measured not only by increasing output but also by increasing public consumption as a result of consumer confidence in the goods and/or services available on the market, which ultimately drives the rate of productivity growth to realize the welfare of Indonesian consumers. The importance of strengthening consumer protection institutions as a form of development and certainty of legal protection for consumers to realize consumer empowerment both individually and communally, as well as business actor compliance as an internal form of good corporate governance in consumer-centric change management governance.

Abstract

In the early hours to early days of life, managing low blood glucose levels and screening infants at risk are common problems in the care of newborns. Still missing, though, is a precise definition of newborn hypoglycemia. The purpose of this study is knowing that pregnancy hypertension/preeclampsia/eclampsia, prematurity, small-gestational-weight (SGA), large-gestational-weight (LGA), asphyxia, and sepsis are risk factors associated with neonatal hypoglycemia. The type of research conducted was a cross-sectional retrospective analytic study on infants in the perinatology room at Wangaya Hospital in 2022. The sample in this study consisted of 18 hypoglycemia babies and 18 normoglycemia babies taken by purposive sampling with matching hypertension/preeclampsia/eclampsia pregnancy, prematurity, SGA, LGA, asphyxia and sepsis. Data collection used medical record data and perinatology register data. Statistical tests used were Chi-Square and logistic regression with a 95% confidence interval. The results showed that prematurity was an associated risk factor (OR=2.78; 95% CI=1.437-5.379), asphyxia and sepsis also showed statistical significance (OR=2.07; 95% CI=1.221-3.513) (OR=2.27; 95% CI=1.257-4.109). In multivariate analysis, there was no statistical significance among other factors (p-value 0.019). Prematurity, asphyxia, and sepsis were risk factors associated with the incidence of neonatal hypoglycemia with odds of 2.78 times, 2.07 times and 2.27 times respectively compared to the control population. However, in the multivariate analysis, there was no relationship between one factor to another factor that influenced each other in being a risk factor associated with hypoglycemia at Wangaya Hospital.
