Abstract

Collaborative practices in the management of Taulaa Beach have not been maximized, including the minimal role of the community in beach maintenance and the lack of facilities and accessibility. This study aimed to assess the appropriateness of tourism in the Taula'a Beach area, located in the Bilato District of the Gorontalo Regency, inside the Gorontalo Province. The chosen research methodology entails the utilization of a survey-based approach. The process of data acquisition via direct observation and field measurements. The criteria that determine the acceptability of a tourism destination include water depth, beach type, beach breadth, water base material, current speed, beach slope, water brightness, land cover, presence of harmful biota, and availability of fresh water. The appropriateness of beach tourism is analyzed using the Tourism Suitability Index (IKW). The research findings yielded an IKW value of 77.4%. This value indicates that land suitability in the Taula'a Beach Tourism Area is included in the very suitable classification, specifically in the S1 category.

Abstract

Education is an important driver for human development starting from communication, information, character and nature. Relevant learning resources will make it easier for students to be able to develop knowledge in their respective fields. Based on the observations of the limitations of teachers in supporting learning, there are still many shortcomings, one of which is in terms of the learning model implemented in the classroom. Efforts to improve student thinking that is creative and prove student learning outcomes with the SOLE learning model based on Scaffolding. The research objective was to examine the effect of the Scaffolding-based SOLE learning model on creative thinking skills and geography learning outcomes in high school. This type of research is quasi-experimental. This study uses a pretest and posttest design. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that it has a significant influence on the SOLE learning model based on scaffolding on creative thinking skills and geography learning outcomes in high school. The scores resulting from the T-test for creative thinking skills obtained sig (2-tailed) values of 0.048 and 0.047, while the values resulting from the T-test of geography learning outcomes in high school obtained sig (2-tailed) values of 0.000 and 0.000.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of augmented reality learning media on geography subjects in class X SMAN 36 Jakarta. This research uses an experimental method with Nonrandomized Control Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population of this study were students of class X SMAN 36 Jakarta with research samples selected by randomized sampling technique, namely X E1 as the experimental class and X E2 as the control class. Data collection techniques used were tests on two classes and distributing questionnaires filled out by experimental class students. Some of the data analysis techniques used are instrument tests, data tests as analysis requirements and data analysis tests. Based on the test results, the instrument was declared valid and reliable and the data was declared normal and homogeneous. The results showed that augmented reality learning media was declared effective to improve students' learning outcomes in geography class X SMAN 36 Jakarta with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and an N-Gain value of 71.069%, which included the effective category. So educators can utilize the media to be used as a praga tool that facilitates the learning process because it is proven to be able to provide an increase in student learning outcomes. For future research, it is hoped that this augmented reality media can be used in other learning materials.

Abstract

Environmental cultured school or adiwiyata is an effort to improve environmental care behavior in the world of education. SMA Negeri 30 Jakarta as an adiwiyata school formed the Duta Asri to improve the adiwiyata character of students in anticipation of the impact of environmental changes. This study aims to determine the effect of Duta Asri on students' environmental care attitudes using quantitative descriptive methods with a survey approach. The population in this study were X and XI grade students other than Duta Asri members. Sampling using simple random sampling method as many as 84 people. Data analysis using simple linear regression techniques. The results of the analysis show that there is an effect of the Duta Asri’s activities on the environmental care attitude of SMA Negeri 30 Jakarta students by 47.5%. The activities of the Duta Asri that most effect the attitude of environmental care are through information media, socialization and class hygiene competitions. The lowest activity indicator in influencing students' environmental care attitudes is listening activities. This is caused by Duta Asri do not yet have the activity of listening to descriptions, opinions and criticism from others, in this case feedback in the form of suggestions and input from students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of student boredom in the learning process at school. The learning that is carried out is still dominated by listening to the teacher's explanation in class, taking notes or summarizing the material. Learning that only uses books will of course make students bored and not interested in following the ongoing lessons. This study aims to find out whether the application of ice breaking can overcome student boredom in the learning process at SMPN 26 Tebo District. The method used in this study is the experimental quantitative method. Sampling was done by random sampling technique. The population in this study was class VII with a sample of 50 people divided into 25 students in the control class and 25 students in the experimental class. The instruments used were tests and questionnaires. Data collection techniques carried out were tests, questionnaires, documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, then proceed with hypothesis testing using the t-test. Based on the analysis of normality test data for all pretest and posttest experimental and control group data, it shows that the significant value of Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk is > 0.05, which means that the data is normally distributed. .05 so that it can be concluded that the data is homogeneous. Then the results of data analysis hypothesis testing using the t-test with a significant value of 0.001. So it can be concluded that the application of ice breaking can overcome student boredom in social studies learning at SMPN 26 Tebo Regency with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05. Thus Ha is accepted.

Abstract

The Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK) is located in Central Lombok, directly bordered by the Indian Ocean to the south. This area has been designated as an essential zone to support tourism. One of the landmarks in this area is the Mandalika Circuit, which has various impacts on different sectors, including land use. The current land use is part of the region's development and is aimed at supporting this special zone. The purpose of this research is to identify the land use in the area around the central point of the Mandalika Circuit. The study was conducted in one of the supporting villages within the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK), namely Desa Kuta, which is situated at the central point of the circuit. The research methodology used spatial analysis with ArcGIS 10.5, utilizing high-resolution satellite images from Google Earth. The findings revealed 12 types of land use in the area: shrubland, terraced fields, plantations, the circuit itself, water bodies, circuit facilities, places for activities and settlements, roads, paddy fields, industries, open land, and grassland. The most extensive land use was shrubland, covering 57% of the total area of 2,366 hectares, while the lowest land use was industry occupying only 0,4 % of the total area.
