Abstract

This research wanted to discuss about buying and selling transactions conducted by female lecturers or practically housewives who also work as professors and want to learn how to manage women conducting online trading transactions based on the perspective of Islamic economics. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The participants of this study discussed three people. The technique of collecting data is by in-depth interviews with the help of key informants. The results of this study suggest the process of buying and selling online transactions conducted by female lecturers coupled with a myriad of housewife activities and activities as teaching staff on campus. As a whole, it can be concluded that the informants stated that the contract made by a number of them doing transactions in buying and selling is murobahah contract.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Utilization of Productive Zakat with Empowerment of Mustahiq in the Amil Zakat Board in East Java. The research uses a quantitative approach. The number of samples used in this study amounted to 33 respondents who came from the Badan Amil Zakat East Java mustahiq who owns a business. Tthe analysis technique used to use simple regression analysis. Based on the results of his study using the t test utilization of productive zakat known value of this variable is -1278 means that smaller and positive values of t table that is equal to 2,040 which is obtained from the distribution of value table and significance value 211, it can be concluded that the utilization productive zakat affects the empowerment mustahiq

Abstract

The study aims to examine the effect of the Islamic financial literacy, Islamic branding, and religiosity toward decision of students to choose Islamic financial services. The method used in this research was quantitative associative. The analysis technique used in this research was logistic regression analysis with total sample of 150 students. Data collection in this research used the Guttman scale and analyzing it used the help of the SPSS Application. The results of this research indicated that Islamic financial literacy, Islamic branding and religiosity increase students opportunities to choose Islamic financial services with a yield of 53,9%; 96,8% and 37,8%. However, the partial test showed that the Islamic financial literacy variable and the religiosity variable did not affect the decision of students, while Islamic branding variable significantly affected the decision of students. Based on simultaneous test showed that Islamic financial literacy, Islamic branding, and religiosity simultaneously influences the decision of students to choose Islamic financial services.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine what work satisfactions and employee’s performances dealings with Islamic work ethics on Subdivision of Pegadaian Syariah Blauran. This research uses quantitative research methods with an associative approach. The number of samples taken were 43 respondents whom were employees of the Subdivision of Pegadaian Syariah Blauran. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire and measured with a Likert scale and then processed and analyzed with the IBM SPSS Statistics 23 application. The result of this research explains that Islamic work ethics have stronger relation with employee’s performance than work satisfaction. Islamic work ethics has correlation of 0,657 toward work satisfaction. Meanwhile, Islamic work ethics has correlation of 0,725 toward employee’s performance.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative study that aims to find out how the impact of islamic work ethics on the performance of ministry of religion office employees Hulu Sungai Utara districts in south borneo. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research type with variable x, namely islamic work ethics and variable y, namely the performance of ministry of religion employees. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study stated that the office of the Ministry of Religion had implemented an islamic work ethic system. However, there are still some values of islamic work ethics that are lacking and must be improved. So that it has an impact on employee performance is less than the maximum. The islamic work ethic itself is very important to be implemented by the Ministry of Religion so that employee performance can be better, developed, and advanced in accordance with the targets to be achieved..

Abstract

Jakarta is the capital and largest city in Indonesia, with a population of 10,277,628 inhabitants (2016) spread over 6 regions, while the highest number of residents leaving in January to April 2018 is in the East Jakarta and West Jakarta regions. This article uses a qualitative method that uses an online questionnaire with respondents who have lived in Jakarta for 6 months who have now left Jakarta for 6 months as well. Based on the results of the study showed there was no Easterlin Paradox due to increased happiness when salaries were not fixed or decreased, but when salaries increased.

Abstract

The economic growth of Muslim middle class society in Indonesia has started a hijab revolution among the Muslim women and this fashion trend provides new opportunities for fashion businesses to focus on to Islamic fashion, especially hijab. The prospect of hijab business is promising, especially with the advancement of communication technology, making the process of trading online much simpler for both sellers and buyers. Hijab2day is one hijab businesses who uses Instagram as their trading platform and in the last five years, they have been offering a variety of hijab designs and hijab accessories online. However competition is unavoidable and the simplicity of trading online has attracted new people to venture into the hijab business. Hijab2day admits that competitors with stronger promotion and marketing strategy have become a particular concern, and with a decrease in sales in 2015, Hijab2day feels that this is something that needs to be analyzed further. This research is designed to highlight Hijab2day’s problems that affected their performance in 2015 as well as to propose a better marketing strategy that will increase Hijab2day’s sales. To identify Hijab2day’s problems, this research conducted PESTEL analysis, Competitor analysis and Porter 5 Forces analysis. Researcher also conducted marketing analysis using Marketing Mix analysis and STP analysis. A SWOT analysis was also conducted to identify Hijab2day’s strengths and weaknesses, which will help to form a more efficient strategy to develop the business. This research analyzed 164 questionnaires, filled by respondents who are all Muslim women who are often purchase hijabs online. The respondents come from different ages and backgrounds. Based on the questionnaire, researcher found out that most respondents are more responsive to a ‘buy 2 get 1’ promotional method, the second highest of the questionnaire result are more receptive towards hijab related promotional event, while 16 respondents suggest holding ‘sales’ would be more attractive. Nearly all respondents prefer to shop via Instagram, while half of the respondents choose to browse and purchase through company’s websites. Research also found out that half of the respondents tend to go online between 18.00 and 21.00. Based on these findings, researcher is recommending three new strategies to improve Hijab2day’s promotional and marketing approach, which will hopefully lead to sales growth : to create better promotional and marketing approach, utilize the new insights of the importance of timing in social media by scheduling posts at the most efficient time for maximum exposure, improve and expand Hijab2day sales platform, expand Hijab2day chosen communication platforms. Researcher hopes that by implementing the recommended suggestions, Hijab2day can maximize their sales and increase growth.

Abstract

A woman in helping the family economy can be done through activities in the form of micro-activities such as trading. Many wives work as traders in the market Kedurus-Karang Pilang Surabaya to help improve the family economy. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, aims to determine the extent of the role of the wife in helping the family economy and what factors affect working wives. Data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are the roles that they do as traders are not the main job, because they also get a living from their husbands. The wifes who works also does not forget the role of a housewife. In reviewing Islamic Economic the wife's work does not conflict with Islamic law and this is one form of devotion helping the husband to support their children. Factors that encourage wife’s to work are economy, level of education, and also self-actualization. Another factor found is to fill leisure time and hobbies

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strength of gender to Islamic consumption behavior of Islamic Economics students, Surabaya State University. Islamic consumption behavior measured by the five basic principles of consumption in Islam. This study uses quantitative descriptive method. The research sample set were 146 students but only 91 students could be further processed. Data source were obtained from questionnaires with guttman scale and analyzed by probit regression using Stata 14. The result showed that woman have a higher probability of behaving in Islamic consumption than man.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much the influence of murabahah financing on the development of UMKM in Ngoro. This study illustrates quantitative research using a descriptive approach. The data used by researchers are primary interviews and secondary data in the form of customer data reports that have received murabahah financing from PT. BPRS Mojokerto City, Ngoro Jombang branch. For the population and sample of researchers using secondary data in the form of customer data reports that have received murabahah financing from PT. BPRS Kota Mojokerto branch of Ngoro Jombang. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression. The results of this study state that the partial test (t) states that murabahah financing significantly influences the development of UMKM in Ngoro District. The test results of the coefficient of determination (R2) indicate that the effect of murabahah financing affects the development of UMKM in Ngoro District worth 93%, while the remaining 7% is influenced by other variables not examined.
