Abstract

This study investigates the influence of creativity and Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan (PKWU) learning achievement on entrepreneurial interest among high school students in Indonesia, where youth unemployment remains high despite curriculum reforms aimed at fostering entrepreneurship. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), data were analyzed from 235 grade 12 students at a Depok high school through validated questionnaires and academic records. Results revealed that both creativity and PKWU learning achievement significantly and positively influence entrepreneurial interest, with PKWU learning achievement demonstrating a substantially stronger impact (β = 0.567, p < 0.001) compared to creativity (β = 0.311, p = 0.005). These findings indicate that while creativity contributes meaningfully to entrepreneurial aspirations, practical entrepreneurship education through PKWU has a more direct and substantial effect on students' career interests. The study concludes that educational institutions should prioritize integrating hands-on entrepreneurial experiences alongside creativitydevelopment to effectively cultivate entrepreneurial mindsets. The results provide evidence for strengthening practical components in entrepreneurship curricula and suggest that structured business skills training may be more influential than general creative development in fostering student interest in entrepreneurship as a viable career path.

Abstract

Over the years, there has been a revolution in political reforms in the Gulf Countries. These reforms involve the promotion of tolerance, increased expression, and the position of women, breaking down traditional Islamic values, and assuming more liberal Western ideologies. The reforms also include the empowerment of women, trimming the powers vested in the religious police, and promoting moderate Islam. This study seeks to elaborate on the responses of the Indonesian government and Muslim figures toward political reforms. This study uses a qualitative method by collecting secondary data from online sources and analyzing the Indonesian government and figures responses to the Gulf countries religious reforms. The study found an enthusiastic response from the government level to the reforms through regular visits and event collaboration between Indonesia and the Gulf especially with Saudi Arabia. On the one hand, Muslim figures responded to it not so enthusiastically and only limited comments by several figures from different Islamic groups in Indonesia.

Abstract

For over a century, the Thai government's assimilationist policies have hindered the development of the Patani people’s cultural identity, which blends Malay and Islamic cultures. These cultural impediment is reflected in the language as the Patani have experienced a decline in their ability to use the Malay language as a marker of their identity. This study aims to explain the role of educational institutions such as Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), private Islamic schools (madrasah), and kindergartens (tadika) in preserving the Malay language. This study employed a qualitative research method, utilizing library resources such as journals, books, reports, and websites. The results indicated that these educational institutions play a significant role in preserving the Malay language among the Patani. By using Malay as a means of communication and as a subject of study in these educational institutions, the Patani ethnic identity can be preserved.

Abstract

Rapid urbanization in metropolitan cities such as Jakarta has resulted in a growing disparity in house prices between the city center and suburban areas. This present study examines the economic determinants of housing unaffordability, with a focus on Gross Domestic Regional Product (GDRP) and Construction Expensiveness Index (CCI). This study employs a case study of the Jakarta and West Java regions to analyze the impact of these economic indicators on housing affordability and the extending gap between urban and peri-urban areas. The study indicates that higher construction costs in urban centers substantially worsen affordability challenges. Additionally, the study explores the question whether migration to suburban areas represents a significant trend and potential policy measure to address this disparity. The results of the study highlight the interconnectedness of economic growth, construction costs, and affordable housing availability in both urban and suburban contexts. To mitigate housing inequality and foster equitable regional development, this paper proposes policy interventions such as zoning reforms, enhanced public transportation infrastructure, and alternative housing models like Rent-to-Own (RTO).

Abstract

The objective of this present study is to comprehensively analyze the phenomenon of the resistance of Meccan pagan to the Prophet's call and their viewpoint about the call as a threat. Mecca city, the birthplace of Islam, is the place where Prophet Muhammad firstly declared his Call. However, Meccan Pagan were the first to encounter that call. Instead of receiving the call, they rejected and fought against it. This paper is regard as an endeavor to re-educate about the significance of Tawheed in field of da'wah. The objective of this paper is to provide a reminder to the relevant parties, particularly the preachers, of the significance of Tawheed and its role as a fundamental distinction between Islamic call and other. It also explores the concept of resistance as a natural phenomenon within today society as it already occurred in the Prophet era. To explain this phenomenon, this library research employed a simple comparative study as a research instrument. This study places articular emphasis on two primary aspects. Firstly, Tawheed is a pivotal clash point for this resistance and secondly this paper underwent simple comparative study about the impacts of Tawheed that were resisted by the pagan. The study used secondary source as its main source of information, given that the condition of the Prophet has been mainly documented in book of Seerah written by Moslem scholars. The research indicates that Tawheed is the factor contributing to the resistance against Prophet Muhammad's call. Thus, it is important for the Moslem preachers to always deepen their understanding about Tawheed and maintain a commitment to it considering the test given to their endeavor to propagate Islam inherently founded on Tawheed principle.

Abstract

Capturing multidimensional poverty through conventional poverty statistics is challenging in view of their limited spatial resolution and focus on monetary indicators. In Indonesia, poverty measurement remains largely expenditure-based, potentially obscuring localized deprivations in education, health, and living standards. The objective of this present study is to address this limitation by developing a granular spatial mapping framework for the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) in East Java Province. Employing the Alkire–Foster approach and Susenas 2023 data, the provincial MPI is estimated at 0.0479, and MPI values are spatially predicted at a 3 × 3 km grid resolution by integrating geospatial indicators of infrastructure accessibility, education and healthcare facilities, nighttime light intensity, and population density. The spatial models demonstrate strong predictive performance (R2 ≈ 0.97; AUC ≈ 0.98), revealing pronounced fine-scale variation in multidimensional poverty and identifying deprivation clusters that are not observable in administrative-level statistics. Areas characterized by geographic isolation and limited-service accessibility consistently exhibit elevated predicted MPI values. The findings of this study highlight the significance of high-resolution multidimensional poverty mapping in facilitating the development of more spatially targeted and evidence-based poverty reduction policies at the local level.

Abstract

This objective of this study is to synthesize studies on consumer usage behavior in multichannel e-commerce through a systematic literature review (SLR). A total of thirteen Scopus-indexed articles published between 2013 and 2025 were analyzed to answer three research questions: (RQ1) how is multichannel usage behavior conceptualized? (RQ2) how are theories used to explain this behavior, and (RQ3) what factors support multichannel e-commerce usage behavior? The review results indicate that multichannel behavior is generally understood as the integrated use of cross-channel technologies, with a theoretical basis dominated by theories of adoption, decision-making, and post-adoption evaluation. For RQ3, focusing on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)-based studies, satisfaction, perceived value, trust, and perceived usefulness have consistently been demonstrated to influence usage behavior. This review reveals a gap in the use of theory in multichannelsystems dominated by causal explanations at the individual level and provides directions for further research.
