Abstract

The development of the halal industry in Indonesia has driven an increase in the need for marketing practices that are not only effective but also in line with sharia principles. Promotion, as one of the main elements in marketing management, has a strategic position in building communication between producers and consumers. However, the dynamics of the digital era present new challenges in the form of rampant manipulative and non-transparent promotional practices that have the potential to violate the principles of honesty and Islamic ethics. This study aims to analyze the concept, form, and implementation of sharia promotion in the context of modern marketing, particularly in the digital environment. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature study method on various academic sources regarding sharia marketing, promotional ethics, and digital marketing communication. The results of the analysis show that sharia promotion is based on the principles of shidq (honesty), amanah (trustworthiness), justice, and the prohibition of tadlis (deception) and gharar (uncertainty). In digital practice, the implementation of sharia promotion emphasizes product information transparency, the use of ethical influencers, visual content that is polite and in accordance with Islamic values, and the prohibition of manipulative strategies such as false claims or fictitious discounts. The study also emphasizes that sharia promotion has important relevance for the sustainability of modern halal businesses because it can increase consumer trust and strengthen brand reputation. minimizing the risk of regulatory violations, as well as increasing the competitiveness of Indonesia's halal industry in the global market. Thus, the promotion of sharia is not only an ethical guideline, but also a competitive strategy that is able to respond to contemporary market needs. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, leverage, and company size on company value with profitability as an intervening variable. This study focuses on companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the 2021-2023 period. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique, resulting in 18 companies as samples. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression and the Sobel test to test the mediation effect. The results of the study indicate that liquidity has no significant effect on company value, leverage has a significant negative effect on company value, and company size has a significant positive effect on company value. Profitability is proven to mediate the relationship between leverage and company value, but does not mediate the relationship between liquidity and company size and company value.

Abstract

Abstract The rapid development of financial technology (fintech) has significantly transformed Indonesia’s banking industry through technological innovation, service digitalization, and enhanced operational efficiency. This study aims to analyze the dual role of fintech—as both a synergy and a disruptor—toward banking performance and digital innovation. Findings from recent literature and empirical studies indicate that collaboration between banks and fintech firms, including the implementation of open banking, digital payment systems, and API-based services, improves service effectiveness, expands financial inclusion, and accelerates digital transaction growth. However, fintech penetration in payment services, digital lending, and retail financial products simultaneously creates competitive pressure on bank profitability, particularly through margin compression and shifts in consumer behavior. The study highlights that the impact of fintech is not uniform; instead, it is strongly influenced by banks’ strategic responses, digital readiness, and their ability to manage emerging risks and opportunities. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the fintech–banking relationship and provides strategic recommendations for banks and regulators in navigating an increasingly competitive digital financial ecosystem. Keywords: Fintech, Digital Banking, Financial Innovation, Bank Profitability, Technological Disruption Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi finansial (fintech) telah mendorong transformasi signifikan dalam industri perbankan Indonesia melalui inovasi digital, integrasi layanan berbasis teknologi, serta peningkatan efisiensi operasional. Abstract

This study discusses government intervention in poverty alleviation in Indonesia byplacing poverty as a multidimensional phenomenon that encompasses economic, educational, health, infrastructure, and socio-cultural aspects. Using a descriptivequalitative method based on literature studies, this study examines variousgovernment policies and evaluates challenges and formulates strategies to strengthenthem. The results of the study show that government intervention has made asignificant contribution to reducing poverty rates, but its effectiveness is still hamperedby inaccurate targeting, weak inter-agency coordination, infrastructure limitations, and low community participation. In addition, Islamic values such as justice, trustworthiness, and mutual assistance reinforce the urgency of transparent andempowerment-oriented governance. The implications of this study emphasize theimportance of optimizing technology, strengthening institutional capacity, andparticipatory community empowerment models as the basis for formulating povertyalleviation policies that are more adaptive, targeted, and sustainable.

Abstract

Islamic Financial Institutions (IFIs) are not only required to comply with Sharia principles in a normative sense, but also to demonstrate professional ethics rooted in the moral consciousness of human resources. To date, efforts to strengthen professional ethics within IFIs have largely relied on regulatory and formal compliance approaches, which have not fully succeeded in cultivating internalized ethical integrity. This study aims to analyze the values of Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah (Aswaja) character education and examine their relevance in shaping professional ethics within Islamic financial institutions. This research employs a literature based approach using a qualitative conceptual normative framework, drawing on classical and contemporary Aswaja literature, studies on Islamic professional ethics, and relevant documents related to Islamic financial institutions. Data were analyzed through content analysis and descriptive-analytical methods. The findings indicate that the core Aswaja values tawassuth (moderation), tawazun (balance), tasamuh (tolerance), and i‘tidal (justice and integrity) possess substantive relevance as foundational principles of professional ethics in IFIs, as they shape professional mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors in an integrated manner. The internalization of Aswaja values serves to bridge Sharia norms and modern business practices, enabling professional ethics to evolve beyond procedural compliance toward sustained moral awareness. This study emphasizes the strategic importance of integrating Aswaja based character education as a complementary approach to strengthening professional ethics in Islamic financial institutions. Keywords: Aswaja Character Education, Professional Ethics, Islamic Business Ethics, Islamic Financial Institutions.
