Abstract

Oven tembakau berfungsi untuk menurunkan kadar air pada daun tembakau basah melalui penggunaan udara panas yang dihasilkan oleh api. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Prototype yang meliputi enam tahap: Analisis Kebutuhan, Desain Cepat, Pembuatan Prototype, Evaluasi Penggunaan Awal, Perbaikan Prototype, dan Implementasi. Pada tahap awal, dilakukan analisis kebutuhan untuk sistem pemantauan suhu dan kelembapan pada oven tembakau. Tahap kedua melibatkan perancangan perangkat keras, perangkat lunak, dan sistem. Setelah itu, Prototype dibuat dalam bentuk miniatur. Evaluasi awal dilakukan untuk memastikan sistem dapat memantau kondisi dengan tepat dan memberikan data sensor yang akurat. Jika ditemukan kesalahan, Prototype akan diperbaiki pada tahap kelima sebelum melanjutkan ke tahap Implementasi. Tahap terakhir mencakup pengujian sistem pada miniatur oven. Sistem berbasis IoT ini diintegrasikan dengan aplikasi Blynk, memberikan kemampuan pemantauan suhu dan kelembapan oven secara real-time. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini berfungsi dengan baik dalam memantau suhu dan kelembapan pada oven tembakau skala miniatur. Kata kunci: Oven Tembakau, IoT, Pemantauan Suhu, Kelembapan, Blynk.

Abstract

Tanaman bawang merah adalah salah satu jenis tanaman yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi[1]. Pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi lingkungan, salah satunya adalah tingkat kelembapan tanah yang optimal. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan dalam pengembangan sistem ini adalah model prototipe. Terdapat empat tahap dalam pembuatan alat ini, yaitu Pengumpulan Kebutuhan, Perancangan Sistem dan Desain Alat, Pembuatan Prototype, serta Evaluasi dan Perbaikan. Pada tahap pertama, Pengumpulan Kebutuhan, dilakukan identifikasi tujuan menyeluruh dari pembuatan perangkat keras, perangkat lunak, dan sistem secara keseluruhan. Tahap kedua, yaitu Proses Desain, berfokus pada representasi perangkat lunak serta penyesuaian kebutuhan perangkat keras. Tahap ketiga, Pembuatan Prototype, memungkinkan penulis untuk memahami secara konkret detail prototype yang akan diterapkan dalam sistem IoT. Tahap terakhir, Evaluasi dan Perbaikan, melibatkan implementasi sistem yang siap dioperasikan, di mana evaluasi terus dilakukan untuk aspek teknis dan operasional, serta interaksi pengguna. Sistem IoT yang dikembangkan terintegrasi dengan aplikasi Blynk untuk memantau kelembapan tanah dan berfungsi sebagai saklar untuk mengontrol pompa dalam proses pemupukan dan penyiraman. Implementasi sistem ini berhasil bekerja dengan baik sebagai alat pemantauan dan pengendalian pemupukan otomatis untuk tanaman bawang merah berbasis IoT.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam cara kita mentransmisikan data. Kompresi data adalah metode yang telah lama dikembangkan, yang memungkinkan kita untuk mengurangi ukuran file atau pesan tanpa kehilangan data penting pada file tersebut. Dengan menggunakan algoritma Huffman Code ukuran pesan di kompresi dapat menghemat atau mengurangi ukuran kurang lebih 70%. Huffman merupakan algoritma kompresi lossless, maka pada saat dekompresi akan menghasilkan data yang identik dengan data asli sebelum dikompresi. Algoritma Huffman Code diimplementasikan ke dalam program untuk menguji data yang digunakan. Data yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini berasal dari teks pesan singkat

Abstract

Penerapan administrasi sangat penting bagi suatu perusahaan, organisasi, maupun instansi dalam memantau kegiatan pengorganisasian guna berjalan lancar dan dapat mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Urusan surat menyurat merupakan bagian penting dalam penyelenggaraan administrasi. Aktivitas kerja di Kantor Walikota Medan pun tidak terlepas dari administrasi terutama untuk urusan surat menyurat. Namun penerapan administrasi di Kantor Walikota Medan masih menggunakan sistem administrasi manual. Penyelenggaraan administrasi manual tersebut mengalami beberapa kendala serta membutuhkan banyak biaya, waktu, dan tenaga. Untuk itu dibutuhkan penerapan sistem paperless office guna meningkatkan efektivitas kerja menjadi lebih baik. Penerapan sistem paperless office membantu mengurangi penggunaan kertas karena dokumen dalam bentuk kertas digantikan dengan dokumen dalam format elektronik seperti word, pdf, dan sebagainya sehingga tidak membutuhkan banyak ruangan untuk penyimpanan. Pencarian data juga dilakukan dengan mudah dan cepat karena petugas atau pegawai dapat dilihat melalui database yang terdapat pada instansi tersebut. Aplikasi paperless office ini diharapkan dapat membantu instansi tersebut dalam meningkatkan kinerja para pegawai dan pelayanan publik.

Abstract

This study develops an IoT-based LED control system operated through the Telegram application, using Wi-Fi connectivity. The system is designed to allow users to remotely control the LED lighting, including turning it on, off, or adjusting its intensity, using a Telegram bot as the control interface. A microcontroller connected to a Wi-Fi module receives commands from the Telegram bot via a server and executes the instructions to control the LED. Optimization was conducted to ensure energy efficiency and improve the system’s response time to user commands. Testing demonstrated that the system performs responsively and stably under various network conditions, with low power consumption. This approach provides an efficient and user-friendly solution for LED IoT control systems, suitable for smart home applications or industrial environments requiring remote lighting control via Telegram.

Abstract

There are websites where people can communicate and exchange information between the government and the general public. A website is a type of media that contains information that can be accessed from anywhere on the internet and is accessible from anywhere in the world. Pengujian sistem keamanan aplikasi berbasis website is a crucial aspect in the era of web-based application development that involves pesat. This study was conducted on the Samsat website. The Samsat website's maintenance is an issue for the administrator. These problems are always resolved, and they can be resolved when a bencana occurs. Without an effective management system, any information technology will be able to support a particular organization or institution on its own. Based on this background, an analysis of the Samsat website is needed to find out whether the website is safe. The research method uses OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project).

Abstract

Increasing tax revenue is one of the government's main focuses in development efforts. One way to maximize tax revenue is to identify potential tax costs that have not been ideally explored. In this study, information mining techniques are applied with the classification method to predict and identify taxpayers who have the potential for high tax costs. By using historical taxpayer information, the classification method is able to group taxpayer information into certain categories that are useful for further analysis. The results of this study are expected to provide information-based recommendations to tax authorities in order to improve the efficiency of tax collection.

Abstract

Government digitalization has become an essential need in enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of public services. This study aims to design a digitalization strategy for the North Sumatra Provincial Government to support more effective services. The methods used include technology needs analysis, literature review, and surveys among the community and government employees. The findings indicate that developing digital infrastructure, integrated service applications, and human resource training are key success factors. This article proposes a digitalization implementation model tailored to local needs, emphasizing collaboration among the government, community, and private sector. The conclusion highlights that digitalization can improve service efficiency and foster bureaucratic transformation in North Sumatra.

Abstract

The current strategy of several companies from small to large scale is to utilize web-based technology for promotional media so that it is not limited by space and time, therefore the author plans to implement a web-based information system using the RAD method for CV Indo Karyatama Perkasa because This CV is a start-up in the advertising sector that does not yet have a website for promotional media and services so that it can capture a wider market share. Flowcharts as a design model and black box testing are used as a medium for testing the work results of the system. This research will produce an information system regarding CV Indo Karyatama Perkasa.

Abstract

One of the challenges in monitoring exams in the classroom or closed room is the limited eye of the tire supervisor if he/she continues to monitor for a long time. Therefore, many behaviors of students cheating over the escape. One solution to overcome this problem is to implement an smart monitoring system that capable of detecting student exam cheating. A number of studies on smart monitoring systems have been conducted. However, the studies have not archieved optimal accuracy in identifying exam cheating. Therefore, this study provides a method to detect exam cheating in a closed room. The method used to detect the object is YOLO version 8 (Yolov8). Before training using the YOLOv8 method, hyperparameter tuning was made to generate best model performance. The test results have shown that the Yolov8s model has created the best performance with the precision, recall, IoU-Score and mAP50 values ​​of 0.952, 0.966, 0.8977 and 0.984. Testing in the working environment shows that the Yolov8s model can detect exam cheating in real time at a frame rate of 28 fps. Although it has achieved quite optimal performance. However, the performance of this exam cheating monitoring system can still be improved. Furthermore, this study has limitations, specifically that it can only detect cheating in the place where the dataset was collected.
