Abstract

Padang City's tourism sector has great potential, but there is no data-based destination recommendation system for beach tourism. This study develops a recommendation system using the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) and Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) methods. The system evaluates 10 alternative beaches based on five criteria: entrance fees, safety, operating hours, facilities, and cleanliness. Criteria weights are determined objectively using ROC, while destination rankings are calculated using MOORA. The results show that destination A4 obtained the highest score (Yi = 0.3015). This system is proven to be able to provide objective recommendations and can be implemented in the form of a web application to support the decisions of tourists and destination managers. This study contributes to the integration of the ROC-MOORA method in the tourism domain based on decision support systems.

Abstract

Advances in information technology and telecommunications have brought significant changes to the field of education. Technology-based learning media provides an effective solution for improving the quality of learning and student motivation. One of the emerging technologies is augmented reality (AR), which can create interactive and engaging learning experiences. Observations at the Amal Shaleh Islamic Junior High School revealed the need for more interactive, technology-based learning tools. The learning process still relies on conventional methods, such as explanations on the blackboard and textbooks, making it challenging for students to fully grasp the material. The researchers chose the topic "Management of Deceased Bodies" as the focus for developing learning media, given the importance of understanding the procedures for managing corpses according to Islamic law. In fiqh studies, the obligation to care for a corpse is considered a fardhu kifayah, meaning that if one person fulfills this duty, the responsibility is lifted from others. However, if no one performs the task, the entire community bears the sin. Thus, it is crucial for students to understand and apply the procedures correctly. This research employed the Markerless method, and the outcome was an interactive learning medium utilizing augmented reality. The goal of this innovation is to enhance students' understanding of the procedures for handling deceased bodies, enabling them to apply this knowledge within their communities

Abstract

Repository is a digital storage system that can store various kinds of data such as files, documents, and research results, often a repository is called a digital library by many people. Repository is used in various places, one of which is higher education, which can store student research results such as papers, theses, journals, thesis, and dissertations. Muamalah repository is addressed to the Muamalah Study Program, Faculty of Sharia and Law, State Islamic University of North Sumatra which still uses a manual library system so that it can cause problems in the process of searching, storing and managing documents that require a long time. So a digital library or digital repository is the right solution to deal with these problems. The waterfall software development method is used in this research because the process is structured and more organized so that it can facilitate research. The use of UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a design model and PHP (Hypertext Prepocessor) as a programming language makes this research easier to implement. The results of this study can help the muamalah study program in managing various data such as theses, journals, thesis, and so on

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that remains a major challenge in improving child health in Indonesia. This condition has long-term impacts on physical growth, cognitive development, and future productivity of children. Early detection of toddlers' nutritional status is crucial for effectively preventing and addressing stunting cases. This study aims to develop a machine learning-based classification model for toddlers' nutritional status using simple anthropometric data, namely age (in months), sex, and height (in cm). The dataset used in this study was sourced from the 2022 historical records of the Health Department and the Community-Based Nutrition Recording and Reporting System (E-PPGBM), comprising 120,999 entries categorized into four nutritional status classes: normal, tall, stunted, and severely stunted. Data preprocessing included label encoding and feature standardization. The model employed is the Random Forest Classifier, evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The training results show that the model achieved a classification accuracy of 99.93% on the test data, with F1-scores for each class as follows: Normal = 0.9998, Severely Stunted = 0.9985, Stunted = 0.9975, Tall = 0.9997. Feature importance analysis indicates that height is the most influential feature in the classification task. These findings demonstrate that machine learning algorithms, particularly Random Forest, are effective for predicting toddlers’ nutritional status and have strong potential to be integrated into digital applications that support Indonesia’s stunting reduction programs. However, the model's limitation lies in its use of only basic anthropometric features—age, sex, and height—without considering additional variables such as weight, disease history, dietary patterns, socioeconomic status, or immunization history, which may also influence a child's nutritional status. To improve the model's accuracy and relevance, it is recommended to incorporate other related features, such as body weight, nutritional intake, health history, and social-economic indicators, in future research.
