Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of income tax accounting article 21 on civil servants’ salaries at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Binjai City. Income tax article 21 is a tax imposed on income in the form of salaries, wages, honorariums, allowances, and other payments received by employees. Problems often arise due to discrepancies between calculation, recording, and reporting of article 21 income tax with applicable tax regulations. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach at BPBD Binjai City, employing interviews, observations, and documentation techniques. The results show that the implementation of article 21 income tax accounting at BPBD Binjai has been carried out in accordance with tax regulations, although there are still obstacles related to reporting delays and administrative errors. This study recommends that PPh 21 management be more systematic by utilizing tax applications and improving staff competence. This research is expected to contribute to tax literature, especially in the public sector, and become a consideration for local government agencies in improving compliance and effectiveness in managing employee income tax.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of population and economic growth on food security in Sungai Penuh City. This is a quantitative study. The data used in this study are secondary data sourced from the Sungai Penuh City Statistics Agency (BPS), the Sungai Penuh City Food Security Office, the Population and Civil Registration Office, and publications from the Jambi Province Statistics Agency (BPS), and the Republic of Indonesia Statistics Agency (BPS RI). The analytical tools used were multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing, and the coefficient of determination. Based on the results, the model examining the effect of population and economic growth on food security in Sungai Penuh City was not statistically significant (Sig. F Change = 0.498 > ? 0.05). Although the multiple correlation coefficient (R = 0.543) indicates a moderate linear relationship, the R Square value of only 0.295 indicates that the two independent variables are only able to explain 29.5% of the variation in the dependent variable of food security in Sungai Penuh City

Abstract

The increasingly competitive property industry requires companies to implement marketing strategies that enhance trust and strengthen brand recognition. One of the challenges faced by PT. Alpha Central Propertindo is the absence of an official promotional medium to consistently and professionally support personal selling activities. This study aims to design and implement a company profile as a strategy to enhance brand awareness and support personal sales at PT. Alpha Central Propertindo. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach using a community service model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while media development followed the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method. The results indicate that the implementation of the company profile had a positive impact on increasing consumer understanding and initial interest. Based on evaluations involving ten sales representatives, 80% reported improved consumer understanding of the company’s profile and services, while 70% indicated increased consumer interest after the use of the company profile. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial compensation and work motivation on employee loyalty at PT Arteje Kayu Aro, a company engaged in the production of bottled drinking water in Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of increasing turnover and decreasing employee loyalty, which is suspected to be influenced by dissatisfaction with the compensation system and low work motivation. This study uses an explanatory quantitative approach with a population of all 45 permanent employees of PT Arteje Kayu Aro. Due to the relatively small population size, the sampling method used is census sampling. Primary data was collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire, while secondary data was obtained from company documents and supporting literature. Data analysis was performed using validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests, as well as multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 26 to test the partial and simultaneous effects between variables. Correlation analysis showed that financial compensation has a positive and significant relationship with employee loyalty, while work motivation also shows a positive and significant relationship. Simultaneously, both variables have a very strong relationship with employee loyalty, which means that the better the financial compensation and the higher the work motivation, the higher the loyalty shown by employees. The results of this study emphasize the importance of companies in improving their compensation systems and increasing factors that motivate employees in order to strengthen loyalty and improve organizational sustainability

Abstract

The research problem in this study is whether recruitment and training affect employee performance, either partially or simultaneously. This study aims to analyze and prove the influence of these two variables on improving employee performance at PT. Manggala Radhika Abiyasa. The method used is a quantitative approach with a survey technique involving 70 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination with the help of SPSS version 27. The results show that recruitment has a significant effect on performance with a t-value of 4.146 and a significance value of 0.000. Training also has a significant effect, with a t-value of 3.470 and a significance value of 0.001. Simultaneously, recruitment and training have a significant effect on performance, with an F-value of 76.894 and a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.697 indicates that 69.7% of the variation in performance is explained by these two variables. In conclusion, the improvement of security personnel performance is strongly influenced by the effectiveness of recruitment and training. Therefore, the integration of selection and development strategies is necessary to produce professional and job-ready security personnel.
