The population used is all users of MS Glow skincare products in Pati Regency. This study uses non-probability sampling techniques, namely purposive sampling where the sample is taken based on certain criteria that must be met and the sample used is 97 respondents. This study uses the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, which is run with the help of SmartPLS version 3.0 software. to analyze the data. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the variables of product quality and social media marketing have no significant effect on purchasing decisions. Product quality and social media marketing variables have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. The purchase interest variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Purchasing interest variables can mediate the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions. The purchase interest variable cannot mediate the effect of social media marketing on purchasing decisions

Abstract

This study employs a quantitative research method using secondary data from nine mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange over the period 2004–2017. The research aims to investigate the relationship between capital structure—specifically leverage levels—and the qualification diversity of both supervisory and management boards. Board qualification diversity is measured based on educational background and professional experience, while leverage is calculated using the debt-to-asset ratio. Companies are grouped into high-leverage and low-leverage categories based on the median split method. Descriptive statistics are used to understand the general characteristics of the data, while independent samples t-tests are applied to examine whether there are statistically significant differences in board qualification diversity between the two leverage groups. Additionally, effect sizes (Cohen’s d, Hedges’ correction, and Glass’s delta) are computed to assess the magnitude of the differences. Statistical analyses are conducted using SPSS software, with a significance threshold of 0.05. This methodological approach allows for a robust comparison of how capital structure may be associated with variations in the composition and qualifications of corporate boards in the Indonesian mining industry

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of audit quality, as proxied by Big 4 audit firm affiliation, on the financial performance of finance companies. Using a sample of 27 finance firms listed on the stock exchange over the period 2004 to 2017, the study examines differences in performance indicators between companies audited by Big 4 and non-Big 4 firms. Four key financial indicators are analyzed: Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Sales (ROS), Tobin’s Q (TQ), and Stock Return (SR). Descriptive statistics, independent samples t-tests, and effect size analyses (Cohen’s d, Hedges’ correction, and Glass’s delta) are employed to assess both statistical and practical significance of differences. The results show that companies audited by Big 4 firms have significantly higher Return on Sales, suggesting a link between audit quality and operational profitability. While ROA and TQ show favorable averages for Big 4-audited firms, the differences are not statistically significant. For stock return, only Glass’s delta indicates a significant effect, favoring non-Big 4 firms. These findings imply that Big 4 audit firms contribute to improved internal financial performance, particularly in sales profitability, although they do not consistently impact market-based outcomes. This study contributes to the literature on audit quality and corporate performance, especially in the context of the finance industry. However, the findings are subject to limitations, including the relatively small sample size and industry-specific scope. Future research is encouraged to expand the sample, update the time period, and incorporate broader measures of audit quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of rewards, work environment, and work-life balance on employee job satisfaction in a logistics company in Depok City. The background of this research departs from the importance of job satisfaction as an indicator of organizational success, especially in the logistics industry which has the characteristics of dense, risky, and requires high coordination. The research method used is a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis technique through the SmartPLS application. The study population involved 145 employees, all of whom were sampled through the saturated sampling method. The results of the study showed that the work environment had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, while rewards and work-life balance had no significant effect. These findings reinforce the Job Demands-Resources Model which emphasizes the importance of working conditions as a key resource in improving employee well-being. On the other hand, the insignificance of the influence of rewards and work-life balance shows the existence of contextual factors such as the perception of fairness and limited work flexibility in the logistics sector. Theoretically, this study contributes to the enrichment of the literature on job satisfaction by affirming the role of the work environment as a key determinant. Practically, the results of the study imply that logistics company management needs to prioritize the creation of a safe, comfortable, and supportive work environment, accompanied by a reformulation of a performance-based reward system and a fairer workload management strategy. Thus, this research is expected to be a reference for human resource managers and subsequent researchers in understanding and improving employee job satisfaction in the context of the logistics industry.

Abstract

This research is to determine the influence of café atmosphere, lifestyle, and product diversity on the interest of visiting Jhonnia Cafe again. This research was conducted to test whether there is an influence between variables, namely specifically hypothesis tests will be carried out in structural equations. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Multiple Liner Regression analysis technique. The results of this study show that the atmosphere of the café has a significant effect on the Interest in Returning (Y). This has been proven from the results of the t-test (Partial), which states that the calculated t-value is obtained as much as 0.069 > the t-value of the table 1.98498 with a significant level of 0.505 > 0.05. Lifestyle has a significant effect on Interest in Returning (Y). This has been proven from the results of the t-test (Partial), which states that the calculated t-value is obtained as 0.768< the t-value of the table is 1.98498 with a significant level of 0.444 > 0.05. Product Diversity has a significant effect on Interest in Returning Visits, This has been proven from the results of the t-test (Partial), which states that the calculated t-value is obtained as 1,509< the t-value of the table is 1.98498 with a significant level of 0.135 >0.05. The results of the study showed that the variables of Cafe Atmosphere, Lifestyle, and Product Diversity simultaneously had a significant effect on the Interest in Returning Visitors. This has been proven from the results of the F (Simultaneous) test, which states that the f value calculated > f table is (1.747 > 2.47) and with a significance value = .0163b >0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze financial management strategies for SME growth (Case Study of Bangun Jaya Village). The type of research is qualitative. The informants in this study are 20 individuals (10 informants are micro-business owners and 10 informants are small-business owners). The data analysis method used in this study is SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that SME financial management is still simple and poorly documented, particularly in micro businesses. Micro businesses tend not to keep financial records, do not prepare budgets, and use profits directly for household consumption. In contrast, small businesses have begun to implement cash flow tracking, profit and loss statements, separation of personal and business cash, as well as short-term and long-term planning.
