Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job analysis, human resource (HR) quality, work discipline, and work environment on employee performance at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Pohuwato Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 33 BPBD employees in Pohuwato Regency. Data analysis techniques utilize multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25 software. The results indicate that job analysis, HR quality, and work environment variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This suggests that better job analysis, higher HR quality, and a more conducive work environment lead to improved employee performance. Conversely, the work discipline variable has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, indicating that excessively strict or inflexible work discipline implementation can negatively impact employee performance. Simultaneously, the four independent variables have a positive and significant influence on employee performance at BPBD Pohuwato Regency. Based on these findings, improving HR quality and the work environment should be the primary focus in efforts to enhance employee performance at BPBD Pohuwato Regency. Additionally, further evaluation of work discipline policies is needed to ensure they are more adaptive to the working conditions of BPBD employees

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of human capital in improving the work ethic of employees in the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) and Fire Department (Damkar) in Bolaang Mongondow Selatan Regency. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative methods. The qualitative method is used to gain an in-depth understanding of the factors influencing human capital and work ethic, while the quantitative method is applied through path analysis to examine the causal relationships between research variables. The study's sample consists of 78 employees of Satpol PP and Damkar, selected using a total sampling method. The findings reveal that each dimension of human capital has a significant impact on employees' work ethic. Knowledge plays a role in enhancing professionalism and dedication to work. Higher expertise encourages discipline and responsibility in performing duties. An individual's ability to complete tasks positively correlates with a stronger work ethic. Additionally, technical and interpersonal skills are key factors in fostering a productive and collaborative work culture. Collectively, these four dimensions of human capital significantly contribute to improving employees' work ethic. These findings emphasize that investment in human resource development—through training, education, and work experience—is an effective strategy for cultivating a strong and professional work ethic. Therefore, government institutions, particularly Satpol PP and Damkar, should adopt policies that support human capital development to enhance the effectiveness and quality of public services.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of leadership in determining employee performance at the Limboto Sub-district Office, Gorontalo Regency. Using multiple linear regression analysis, the results showed that Directing and Coaching leadership styles have a significant positive effect on performance. However, Supporting and Delegating leadership styles showed a negative and insignificant effect, which can decrease employee performance. These styles are irrelevant to be applied at the Limboto Sub-district Office because they have the potential to reduce employee performance. This finding emphasizes the importance of improving employee performance by focusing on the Coaching leadership style, as it provides the most dominant contribution.

Abstract

School quality reflects the effectiveness of principal leadership, organizational climate, and teacher performance as key actors in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership and organizational climate on teacher performance and its implications for school quality in private vocational high schools (SMK) in Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. The research employs a quantitative approach with Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) analysis techniques. The sample consists of 224 teachers from 14 private vocational schools selected proportionally. The findings indicate that principal leadership has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (coefficient 0.568) and school quality (coefficient 0.301). Organizational climate also significantly influences teacher performance (coefficient 0.283) and school quality (coefficient 0.423). Furthermore, teacher performance significantly contributes to school quality with a coefficient of 0.295. The results also confirm that teacher performance acts as a partial mediator in the relationship between principal leadership and school quality, as well as between organizational climate and school quality. This study concludes that improving school quality can be achieved through optimizing principal leadership, creating a conducive organizational climate, and enhancing teacher professionalism. The main recommendations include strengthening academic supervision, fostering a collaborative organizational culture, and providing continuous training for principals and teachers to improve the quality of vocational education in Pandeglang Regency

The population in this study is consumers of Mawar Bakery & Cake Shop in Medan City, totaling 206 people. The sampling technique used is probability sampling, and the sample collection method uses the Slovin formula. The research sample consists of 135 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (PLS) technique. The results of the study indicate that the word-of-mouth variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with the path coefficient value showing a T-Statistic value of 4.595 with a P-Value of 0.000 and an original sample value of 0.402. Thus, the T-Statistic value is greater than the T-table (1.97). Product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a T-Statistic value of 4.426 with a P-Value of 0.000 and an original sample value of 0.385. Thus, the T-Statistic value is greater than the T-table (1.97). The location of the business has an influence on purchasing decisions, therefore it is recommended that the owner of Mawar Bakery & Cake Shop, in determining the location of the business, can pay attention to environmental factors around the business location such as the condition of the community around the business location, the comfort and safety of the business place, and easy access for buyers. The results showed that there are still other factors that can affect purchasing decisions besides word of mouth and product quality, therefore it is recommended that the owners of Mawar Bakery & Cake Shop conduct a survey directly to buyers regarding the assessment of consumer satisfaction with word of mouth and product quality based on buyers' perceptions so that owners of Mawar Bakery & Cake Shop can make strategies to improve their business according to the characteristics of buyers who are their target market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of blockchain technology in improving transparency and accountability of public finances as part of institutional reform in the digital era, against the backdrop of low levels of transparency and high potential for corruption in state budget management. The conceptual approach is carried out through an in-depth literature synthesis that integrates theories of digitalization, blockchain implementation, and institutional reform, highlighting the features of permanent recording, decentralization, and smart contracts in the public financial system. The results of the synthesis show that blockchain can reduce corruption gaps and improve audit mechanisms through real-time data transparency, although its implementation faces technical challenges, non-adaptive regulations, and internal resistance. The conceptual model developed proposes that the success of blockchain adoption is highly dependent on infrastructure readiness, policy adjustments, and organizational culture transformation, thus producing a strategic roadmap for digital reform in the public sector. This study also reveals that obstacles to implementing such technology must be overcome through cross-sector collaboration and progressive policy reforms, which not only improve operational efficiency but also encourage innovation in governance. The results of this study provide a basis for developing a comprehensive digital reform strategy, synergistically integrating technical, policy, and organizational culture aspects, and are expected to inspire innovation in public governance and provide significant theoretical and practical contributions to holistic digital reform.
