Abstract

This study examines the business model of sharia P2P lending fintech in Indonesia by utilizing the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Value Design Model (VDM) frameworks. The research aims to provide insights into how sharia fintech companies in Indonesia are structured, focusing on key elements such as value propositions, revenue streams, and customer segments. The study involves three sharia P2P lending companies—ES, PS, and AS—and analyzes their business models through qualitative methods. Key findings highlight the importance of sharia-compliant, transparent, and flexible financing to build customer trust, alongside partnerships with sharia banks, tech providers, and communities. The sector’s growth is driven by targeting customers with stable incomes and familiarity with sharia principles, but challenges remain in financial literacy and regulatory support. Recommendations include product innovation (e.g., wakaf or zakat-based financing), expanding digital channels, and improving operational efficiency to ensure sustainable growth.

Abstract

Sustainability accounting, particularly from an entrepreneurial perspective, is increasingly recognized as a critical framework for measuring and enhancing business performance. The Pentuple Bottom Line (PBL) paradigm expands upon traditional accounting frameworks by incorporating five dimensions: people, planet, profit, phenotechnology, and prophet. This holistic approach emphasizes not only financial success but also ethical responsibilities and the broader impact of business activities on society and the environment. Embracing the Pentuple Bottom Line paradigm not only supports sustainable business practices but also aligns entrepreneurial ventures with broader societal goals. By prioritizing ethical considerations alongside traditional profit metrics, businesses can contribute to a more sustainable future while achieving long-term success.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the digital marketing promotion strategy carried out by BCA Bank in increasing brand awareness and customer engagement. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study analyzes the use of various digital platforms such as social media, official websites, and mobile banking applications to deliver marketing messages. The results show that Bank BCA successfully utilizes an omnichannel strategy that integrates various digital platforms to provide a consistent and engaging experience for customers. The “Sharing Stories with BCA” campaign successfully increased user interaction and brand awareness. However, challenges included differences in preferences between customer segments and changes in social media algorithms that affected content visibility. This research suggests that Bank BCA should improve content personalization by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) technology and customer preference analysis to create more relevant and effective campaigns.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to systematically review the literature published in the last 10 years on the Theory of Planned Behavior integration to understand Muslim travelers’ behavior in halal tourism. The design of this study uses a systematic literature review method. The excellence of the study was assessed by studying the year of publication, journal of publication, country of study, type of statistical method, data collection technique, and content analysis in the literature on Muslim travelers’ behavior in halal tourism. This study is based on 25 selected articles published in peer-reviewed journals between 2015 and 2024. The results show that Muslim travelers’ decisions in choosing halal tourism destinations are greatly influenced by the interaction between their attitudes towards halal facilities, social norms in the community, and the obstacles they feel in accessing the destination. Thus, halal tourism destination managers need to pay attention to these three factors simultaneously to increase the attractiveness of the destination for Muslim tourists.
