Abstract

Consumers will consider various attributes or factors when they make a purchase or deciding on a college choice. The Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia has classified and rank national universities. Previously, some agencies have classified and rank universities both nationally and globally. The results of classification or ranking are different from each other because they use different methods and different sizes.The purpose of this study is to analyze public perception of the reputation of the institution that has to rank colleges and community preferences on college choice. Method survey conducted on three groups of people, they consists of some students, lecturers and the general public.The sampling technique used isaccidental sampling. The number of respondents in this research is 123 respondents. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and conjoint analysis. The results show that many people do not recognize the results of the classification and ranking universities from an independent agencies, the majority of respondents only recognize BAN-PT as an institution that performs the classification of colleges. However, the results of ranking colleges taken seriously by the leaders and managers of higher education as a basic policy to achieve the best college. In addition, the public preference towards higher education shows a high score with various aspects of consideration, and universities should be able to give a good experience to their students.Almost all aspects of preferences offered highly rated, except for the aspect of prestige. The highest preference in choosing a college is a reputable college and study program that conformity with their interests.

Abstract

This study aims to test the dose of nature (manicured gardens, fountains, and trendy entertainment) as a green design in the coffee shop on the perception of value that will ultimately determine the level of loyalty for customers in the direction of new normal life. Data were obtained from a sample of 500 respondents who visited coffee shops in Surabaya. By using AMOS 18.0, the following results were found, first, the green design significantly influenced the perception of utilitarian values, the second the green design significantly influenced the perception of hedonic values, the three utilitarian values significantly influenced loyalty and finally, hedonic values significantly affected loyalty on a coffee shop.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas dosen terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih studi di Universitas Islam Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian eksplanatori, sampel penelitian berjumlah 380 responden dan diolah secara statistik dengan metode regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas dosen berpengaruh terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih studi. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kualitas dosen menjadi salah satu pertimbangan orang tua siswa dan calon mahasiswa memilih universitas untuk melanjutkan studinya. Hal ini mengandung implikasi agar kedepannya pimpinan perguruan tinggi untuk lebih memperhatikan kompetensi dan kepakaran pendidik yaitu dosen untuk membangun kepercayaan masyarakat dan calon mahasiswa menentukan pilihannya untuk melanjutkan studi.

Abstract

Loyalitas pelanggan merupakan salah satu konsep pemasaran yang harus terus dianalisis oleh pemasar, dikarenakan banyaknya pesaing yang muncul dan pemanfaatan teknologi yang berkembang pesat saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh merek dan customer delight terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Amanda Brownies Setiabudhi Bandung. 286 responden diikutsertakan sebagai sampel penelitian ini yang diambil berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling dengan alasan responden hanya ditujukan kepada pelanggan yang loyal berdasarkan jumlah kunjungan dan pembelian yang sudah ditetapkan pada kuesioner yang disebar kepada responden. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan alat statistik SPSS versi 25. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial dan simultan merek dan customer delight mempunyai pengaruh yang siginifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Amanda Brownies Setiabudhi Bandung.

Abstract

Retensi pelanggan penting untuk dianalisis agar perusahaan mampu menentukan berbagai strategi dalam mempertahankan pelanggan. Selain itu, retensi pelanggan merupakan satu tahap di atas loyalitas pelanggan sehingga perusahaan perlu untuk selalu mengetahuinya karena bermanfaat dalam pengelolaan pelanggan. Penlitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh responsivitas dan biaya beralih terhadap retensi pelanggan. Sebanyak tujuh puluh responden yang dipilih pada penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa pascasarjana (program master) untuk jurusan Manajemen Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) yang menggunakan kartu seluler SIMPATI pada telepon genggam mereka. Sampel bertujuan merupakan teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini. Metode analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan alat SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel responsivitas dan biaya beralih memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel retensi pelanggan. Secara parsial, variabel responsivitas memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel retensi pelanggan, sementara tidak untuk variabel biaya beralih. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,146 yang berarti retensi pelanggan pada penelitian ini dijelaskan hanya sebesar 14,6% oleh responsivitas dan biaya beralih. Beberapa rekomendasi dinyatakan dalam artikel ini untuk kesempurnaan penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

PT Saba Indomedika Jaya obtained results that indicate an indication of strategic initiatives that are still ineffective to be implemented in supporting the success of the process and requirements of the ISO 9001: 2015 clause in the 2018 and 2019 audits. Therefore, it is necessary to identify alternative strategies and determine priority strategies to optimize ISO 9001: 2015 at PT Saba Indomedika Jaya. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative method using SWOT analysis tools (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). There were 12 alternative strategies to optimize the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system using the SWOT matrix (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). After going through three stages of strategic management planning that uses QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) as a tool for selecting the main alternative strategy, the main strategy is obtained, which has the highest attractiveness value of 5.6619, namely creating a competency matrix and conducting training to reduce competency gaps. between employees.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether the movement of the share price of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) occurred due to the impact of fluctuations in the Reference Coal Price (HBA) and coal sales volume (VP) or not. Taking HBA data from the publication of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), PTBA coal sales volume is obtained from company financial reports and PTBA share price data is obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) and Yahoo Finance. This study uses quarterly data from January 2009 to December 2018. All data are then analyzed using the VAR / VECM method. The results showed that the Impulse Response Function (IRF) HBA had a significant positive impact on PTBA's stock price in the short and long term. Meanwhile, coal sales volume had an insignificant positive impact on PTBA's share price. Forecast Variance Decompositions (FEVD) also shows that the response generated by the HBA is greater than the coal sales volume factor against the PTBA stock price during the observation period. From this research it can be concluded that the rise and fall of HBA and coal sales volume have clear implications for companies and investors. So it is recommended that companies always evaluate the performance and effectiveness of strategic policies. As for investors, it is useful as a source of investment information, in relation to portfolio strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh citra universitas terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih studi di Universitas Islam Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian eksplanatori. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 388 responden dan diolah secara statistik dengan metode regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan citra universitas berpengaruh terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih studi. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa institusi pendidikan tinggi harus bersaing melalui citra yang dibentuknya. Hal ini terlihat dengan mengukur citra universitas yang dirasakan dan dilihat oleh mahasiswa. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum citra perusahaan penting bagi perusahaan untuk menarik dan mempertahankan pelanggan

Abstract

Objective: The objective of this research is to find out how the Covid-19 pandemic forces the learning process at all levels of education including higher education to be carried out online, where face-to-face meetings are not allowed. How the influence of relational contact and physical context on context-based customer education and on the value of student experience and student loyalty in private universities is the aim of this study.Methodology: The survey was conducted in three major cities in Indonesia, namely Palembang, Bandung, and Surabaya with a total sample of 280 students. Characteristics of respondents based on age, gender, and semester of the three samples of cities are relatively homogeneous. Data analysis was carried out using a structural equation model (SEM) approach with the help of LISREL software.Finding: The results showed that the relational context had a positive and significant effect on context-based customer education, but the physical context had no effect. Context-based customer education has a positive effect on the value of student experience and student loyalty.Conclusion: Even though learning is done through online, students hope that there will be a strong interaction between lecturers and students, so that in lectures, at least it is carried out using blended learning. Strong interaction between students and lecturers is a context-based customer (student) education that can improve the student experience and have an impact on student loyalty to their alma mater.

Abstract

Artikel ini menguraikan hasil penelitian tentang persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran daring pada awal masa pandemi Covid-19.  Metode yang digunakan adalah survey dengan angket yang dibagikan secara online kepada mahasiswa aktif semseter genap 2019/2020. Diperoleh responden sebanyak 91 orang. Responden mahasiswa laki-laki ada 38% dan perempuan sebanyak 62%. Sebanyak 46% adalah mahasiswa tingkat pertama dan sisanya ada 54% adalah mahasiswa tingkat kedua dan ketiga. Hampir 90% responden mengikuti lebih dari lima mata kuliah pembelajaran daring melalui aplikasi Google Classroom, Google Meet, Zoom, Edmodo, e-learning kampus, atau Whatsapp Group. Persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pembelajarn daring menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa masih merasa terhambat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran daring, hanya 15% responden yang menyatakan kesetujuannya terhadap pembelajaran daring, berpendapat bahwa beban tugas lebih banyak, masih kesulitan menerima materi, masih sangat berkepentingan untuk bertemu dan mendapatkan penjelasan dari dosen. Upaya perbaikan efektivitas pembelajaran daring perlu dilakukan dan dipersiapkan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa. Khusus untuk mahasiswa, persiapan perangkat dan aplikasi pembelajaran daring, dan meningkatkan persiapan mental yaitu beradaptasi, mandiri, tangguh, dan bertanggung jawab adalah upaya untuk mencapai hasil pembelajaran yang maksimal.AbstractThis article outlines the results of research on students' perceptions of online learning at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used was a survey with a questionnaire distributed online to active students of even semester 2019/2020. Obtained respondents as many as 91 people. 38% of males and 62% female. About 46% were first-year students and the remaining 54% were second and third-year students. Nearly 90% of respondents attended more than five online learning courses through the Google Classroom application, Google Meet, Zoom, Edmodo, campus e-learning, or Whatsapp Group. The exploration of perception results showed that students still find some obstacles in participating in online learning, argue that the student's assignment was more, they were difficult to receive about the material, still very important to meet and get an explanation from the lecturer. Improving online learning effectiveness could be done and prepared by lecturers and students. Specifically for students, preparing the online learning tools and applications, and improving mental preparation namely adaptable, self-regulated learning, tough, and responsible are the efforts to achieve maximum learning outcomes.
