Abstract

The problem in this study are the factors that cause changes in consumer behavior in shopping from Traditional retail to Modern Retail. Research in urban areas Palembang is a descriptive study conducted by survey method. With this method of data collected by the survey respondents in-depth interviews guidance tool of the points question. In addition to using primary data obtained from respondents also data obtained from depth interviews with informants. To develop questions, first performed exploratory study (exploratory) to potential respondents. In this study, a sample of 120 respondents represented 10 respondents from each of the East Village in District II Palembang Ilir. From the results of research obtained housewife who choose traditional retail as much as 51.7%, the dominant factor affecting consumers in the traditional retail shopping as follows: Price, Scheme & Offers, frequency of visits, and Stock Availability of Goods. From the obtained results of research conducted housewife who choose modern retailing as much as 48.3%, dominant factors that influence consumers in a retailshop at Modern as follows: Leisure Location, Convenience in Shopping, Parking Facilities, Payment Method, In the Good Customer Service, comforts for Women Workers, and Conduct, Based on the above data the researchers to conclude that in the district of East Ilir IIis not a change of behavior in the selection of retail shopping from traditional to modern retail.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of competence (Competence) and job satisfaction (Job Satisfaction) on employee loyalty at PT Semen Baturaja Palembang. The research method used was a survey with a cross-sectional design, and the sample consisted of 98 employees selected using convenience sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1 to 5, which had gone through a validity and reliability assessment. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with Smart PLS application. The results of the analysis show that competence and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. Competence and job satisfaction can explain about 59.8% of the variation in employee loyalty. The recommendations proposed are that companies need to improve employee competencies through relevant training and development and pay attention to other factors that affect loyalty. In addition, it is important to continuously monitor and improve employee job satisfaction levels and conduct periodic evaluations to create a productive and competitive work environment. The implementation of these recommendations is expected to strengthen employee engagement, improve retention, and create a work environment that contributes to the overall success of the organization.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of reward and punishment on performance with work motivation as an intervening variable.The variables in the study consisted of 2 independent variables, namely reward and punishment, 1 dependent variable, namely performance, and 1 intervening variable, namely motivation.The number of samples in this study were 91 respondents who are permanent employees of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk.Determination of the number of samples using the slovin formula.Data obtained by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale.Data processing uses Structural Equation Modeling analysis with SmartPLS.The data analysis technique consists of the Outer Model test and the Inner Model test.The results of the study show that 1) Reward has a significant and positive effect on performance.2) Reward has a significant and positive effect on motivation.3) Punishment has no significant and negative effect on performance.4) Punishment has a significant and positive effect on motivation.5) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance 6) Motivation is able to mediate rewards on performance 7) Motivation is able to mediate punishment on performance.

Abstract

Employee performance will continue to increase if they are happy at work. Workload and work stress areindicators of job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the Effect of Work Stress and Workload on PerformanceMediated by Job Satisfaction Employees of the Employment Social Security Administering Body. The researchmethod used in this research is explanatory. The simple random sampling technique was used to select 100 employeesof the Palembang Branch of Employment BPJS. The research instrument was a questionnaire that had beentested by CFA for both reliability and validity. In this study, the PLS-SEM technique was applied to test complexcausality models. The findings of this study resulted in a conceptual fit model which indicates that job satisfactiondoes not act as a mediator in the influence of work stress and workload. These results can help organizations,especially the Palembang Branch of Employment BPJS in increasing employee productivity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the direct effect of the non-physical work environment, competency on employee engagement mediated by job satisfaction, the object of research was PT. Semen Baturaja Palembang, the sample of this study were employees at PT. Semen Baturaja Palembang, with a total of 111 employees, the method used is a quantitative method with the SEM-Smart-PLS analysis technique. The data used are primary and secondary data, hypothesis testing using weight relations. Results on job satisfaction, competence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, non-physical work environment is positive but not significant on employee engagement, competence has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, non-physical work environment is positive but not significant on employee engagement mediated by job satisfaction , positive and significant competency on employee engagement is mediated by job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study investigates the importance of the influence of service quality, product attributes, and company reputation on consumer repurchase intentions in a business and marketing context. The aim is to analyze how these factors interact and influence consumer repurchase intention. This research method involves collecting data through surveys of respondents who are consumers from various industrial sectors. Data analysis was performed using a statistical approach and a regression model. The findings show that service quality has a significant effect on consumer repurchase intention, as well as a positive effect on company reputation. In addition, product attributes also have a strong impact on consumer repurchase intentions and have a positive effect on company reputation. Company reputation is proven to have a significant influence on consumer repurchase intention. In conclusion, the factors of service quality, product attributes, and company reputation together play an important role in shaping consumer repurchase intention. These findings provide strategic insights for practitioners in designing marketing strategies that focus on strengthening service quality, attractive product attributes, and a positive company image to increase consumer repurchase interest and maintain a competitive market share.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini untuk berbagi pengetahuan tentang Digital Marketing Para Pelaku UMKM di Provinsi Lampung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan banyak para pelaku UMKM tidak memahami serta mempergunakan ilmu digital marketing dalam meningkatan ilmu pengetahuan dan mempermudah mencari sumber penghasilan, dari sosialisasi ini diharapkan pelaku UMKM dapat memaksimalkan pengelolaan dalam peningkatan digital marketing. Para pelaku UMKM juga belum memiliki keterampilan untuk menjadikan digital marketing sebagai sumber penghasilan. Dengan dilaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan tersebut diharapkan bisa meningkatkan pengetahuan serta mengembangkan ketertarikan pelaku UMKM dalam pengelolaan digital marketing UMKM naik kelas di Provinsi Lampung

Abstract

This research aims to identify the factors influencing the quality of the Palembang regional government's financial reports. The factors examined include the application of Government Accounting Standards, the Internal Control System, Human Resources Competency, and the Role of Internal Audit. The study employs a qualitative research method with data collected through interviews. The findings reveal that the application of Government Accounting Standards, the Internal Control System, Human Resources Competency, and the Role of Internal Audit significantly affect the quality of the financial reports. The implications of this research suggest that local governments should enhance the implementation of Government Accounting Standards, strengthen the Internal Control System, improve Human Resources Competency, and optimize the role of internal audit to elevate the quality of financial reports.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the Indonesian economy but still require development, especially in improving the quality of human resources. Focusing on improving human resources in MSMEs, such as those of Ms. Asrania's Kemplang Business in Pemulutan Ilir, is crucial to improving the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs. The study aimed to investigate ways to enhance the advancement of Kemplang MSMEs by enhancing the caliber of their workforce. This endeavor seeks to offer deeper insights and a significant contribution to the field of science, particularly in the micro, small, and medium-sized economies, laying a foundation for future research in this domain. The MSME development program through improving human resources in Pemulutan Ilir Village lasted for two months and targeted the community around the village. "The techniques applied were participatory and action research, which involved the participation of students and villagers to address specific problems faced by MSMEs and play a role in advancing the local economy. Kemplang Asrania MSMEs improve employee skills through hands-on training, on-the-job methods, demonstrations, and examples. They also apply Coaching and Counseling as a short-term educational approach while still taking into account work experience when hiring the team. Training, coaching, and counseling have positively impacted the business's sustainability and development while paying attention to Sharia's values in improving the quality of human resources. Keywords: MSMEs, Human Resources, Quality Improvement Abstrak Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) memegang peranan penting dalam ekonomi Indonesia, tetapi masih memerlukan pengembangan terutama dalam meningkatkan kualitas SDM. Fokus pada peningkatan SDM di UMKM, seperti yang dilakukan oleh Usaha Kemplang Ibu Asrania di Pemulutan Ilir, menjadi krusial untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan UMKM. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan maksud untuk mengeksplorasi upaya meningkatkan kemjuan UMKM Kemplang melalui peningkatan kualitas SDM, diharapkan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik dan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan terutama dalam konteks ekonomi mikro, kecil, dan menengah serta menjadi dasar bagi penelitian lanjutan di bidang ini. Program pengembangan UMKM melalui peningkatan SDM di Desa Pemulutan Ilir yang berlangsung selama 2 bulan dengan sasaran masyarakat sekitar desa. Teknik yang diterapkan adalah partisipatif dan penelitian aksi, yang melibatkan partisipasi penduduk desa untuk menangani masalah spesifik yang dihadapi UMKM, serta berperan dalam memajukan perekonomian lokal. UMKM Kemplang Asrania meningkatkan keterampilan karyawan melalui pelatihan langsung, metode On the Job, serta demonstrasi dan example. Mereka juga menerapkan Coaching dan Counseling sebagai pendekatan pendidikan jangka pendek, sambil tetap memperhitungkan pengalaman kerja saat merekrut tim. Training, Couching dan Counseling ini telah berdampak positif bagi keberlangsungan dan perkembangan usaha, sambil memperhatikan nilai-nilai syariah dalam peningkatan kualitas SDM.
