Abstract

Amidst a rapidly evolving global landscape and ever-advancing technology, Indonesia's defense industry, as a vital strategic sector, must foster innovation to enhance its potential and competitiveness. An effective approach is the amalgamation of Industry 4.0 with Lean Six Sigma. Industry 4.0 encompasses technology-driven industrial advancements, including IoT, big data, AI, robotics, and integrated automation. In contrast, Lean Six Sigma focuses on elevating process quality and efficiency. This study explores the applicability of integrating Industry 4.0 with Lean Six Sigma in Indonesia's defense industry, aiming to expedite production, optimize resource utilization, and elevate operational efficiency. Lean Six Sigma aids in reducing error rates and production costs. The research employs a literature study method with comprehensive analysis of the implementation of Industry 4.0 technology and Lean Six Sigma methodology. The findings reveal that this integration holds immense potential for the defense industry. Nevertheless, it encounters challenges such as technology and infrastructure limitations, cybersecurity concerns, financial investments, human resource readiness, regulatory compliance, and system integration complexities. Recommended solutions comprise infrastructure and technology enhancements, bolstering cybersecurity measures, government financing and support, human resource development, research and development initiatives, and robust project management and system integration. In conclusion, adopting Industry 4.0 with Lean Six Sigma promises strategic advantages for Indonesia's defense industry. Collaborative efforts and government backing shall steer the defense industry towards an innovative and fiercely competitive future. Future researchers can broaden the scope, delve into obstacle analysis, and assess the impact to foster the defense industry's optimal growth

Abstract

The MSME sector is an economic milestone for villages in border areas. As one of the two countries' border crossings, tourist villages on the Indonesia-Timor Leste border have great potential in developing their business scale which can provide income not only for MSMEs, but for Border Village Original Income (PADes). However, the problem is that MSME actors in these border villages are still hampered in terms of capital, technological innovation, workforce expertise and marketing systems. On the other hand, the existence of Bumdes can be a solution to the problems faced by MSME actors. In this study, researchers will look for the root of the problems faced by MSMEs and BUMDes by conducting interviews with MSME actors, Village Heads and BumDes Management in 3 (Three) Border Villages, namely: Duarato Village, Tohe Village and Siwalan Village in Belu District. Then formulate policy priorities that must be implemented by the Village Government and BUMDes in order to move MSMEs through qualitative analysis techniques. The research results show that: (1) Business Environment Aspects; the importance of maintaining the surrounding environment so that it remains safe and conducive in supporting business development (2) Capital Aspects; access to capital from non-bank parties and from cooperatives to business actors (3) employment aspect; Local governments need to provide training facilities for workers. (4) Information Technology Aspects; every business actor has mastery of technology including mastery of banking digitization (5) Marketing Aspect; the importance of marketing training for business actors to maintain business continuity. The final implication of this research is the realization of BUMDes goals in driving the village economy. In addition, with the existence of the BUMDes program that supports MSMEs, it is hoped that it will be able to increase the business scale of MSMEs and Village Original Income (PADes) for tourist villages on the border of Indonesia - Timor Leste.

Abstract

This study aims: 1) To analyze the concept of cultivating the morals of the Islamic boarding school students of Manarul Islam Aceh Tamiang Border. 2) To analyze the implementation of instilling the morals of students in the Manarul Islam Aceh Tamiang Border Dayah. 3) To analyze the involvement of tengku in cultivating the morals of students in the Aceh Tamiang Manarul Islam Border Dayah. 4) To analyze the results of the leadership of the tengku in instilling the morals of the students at the Manarul Islam Aceh Tamiang Border Dayah. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that: 1) In realizing the concept of moral education in the Manarul Islam Border Dayah, it is applied using various methods. These methods include the uswah method (example), the ta'widiyah method (habitation), the mauiz'hah method (advice), the supervision method, the reward and punishment method, and the rote method. 2) The implementation of cultivating the morals of students at the Manarul Islam Border Dayah takes place inside and outside the classroom. 3) Tengku Mustafa's involvement in cultivating Santri Morals at the Manarul Islam Aceh Tamiang Border Dayah can also be seen from his leadership style, such as: democratic, charismatic, trustworthy, and effective leader. 4) The results of Tengku's Leadership in Instilling Santri Morals at the Manarul Islam Border Dayah Aceh Tamiang, there are several roles played by Tengku Mustafa Manarul Islam Border Dayah in empowering his role as an important person in shaping the morals of the santri even though in fostering the morals of the santri through several processes and use effective and efficient methods

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the model jigsaw cooperative learning and learning motivation on student learning outcomes class VI science subject at SD Inpres 2 Tidung. Researchers use the approach post test only control group design, which was carried out on 40 class VI students as a sample (object) of the researcher, consisting of 20 people as the experimental group and 20 people as the control group. For obtain data about learning outcomes using learning outcomes tests, while data about learning motivation using a learning motivation questionnaire. Data analysis using two-way analysis of variance and tukey (Q) test . The results of the study showed that (1) the students' learning outcomes in science were following the jigsaw cooperative learning model is higher than students who follow the conventional learning model, (2) students who have high learning motivation there is a difference in science learning outcomes between students who follow the jigsaw cooperative learning model with students who follow conventional learning models. (3) students who have learning motivation low there is a difference in science learning outcomes between students who follow the model jigsaw cooperative learning with students following the model conventional learning, and (4) there is an interaction effect between models learning by having learning motivation towards science learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the crisis response strategy that occurred at the Ibis Daan Mogot Hotel Jakarta in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is case study research with a descriptive approach with qualitative data types. Researchers use a post-positivism paradigm because researchers want to build understanding regarding the crisis communication strategy of the Ibis Budget Daan Mogot Hotel Jakarta in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. The post-positivism paradigm trusts more in the process of verifying a finding of results using various methods so that researchers choose this paradigm. In this study the researcher is the key instrument, the data collection technique is carried out by triangulation or combination, the data analysis is inductive or qualitative, and the results of qualitative research emphasize meaning rather than generalization. In this study, Miles and Huberman's analytical techniques were used which consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. In this study the researchers explored the truth of the information through interviews with various parties. In addition, researchers also make observations, archives, and photographs, as well as observing news and websites. The crisis that occurred at the Ibis Budget Hotel Jakarta Daan Mogot Jakarta was a crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic so that the crisis that occurred could be categorized as a victim cluster type of crisis because it was caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. In the victim cluster, it means that the Ibis Budget Hotel Jakarta Daan Mogot Jakarta positions itself as a victim so that the attribution that the company is responsible for the crisis is very weak. This provides an advantage for the Ibis Budget Hotel Jakarta Daan Mogot Jakarta because the threat to reputation is relatively mild.

Abstract

The interpretation of the Quran has evolved over time, reflecting the exigencies, culture, and requirements of each era, as well as the diversity of methodologies and approaches adopted by scholars. Four main types of interpretation emerged: general interpretation, analytical interpretation, thematic interpretation, and finally, comparative interpretation. This study aims to review the concept and development of comparative interpretation, including its different approaches and methods, and the methodological criteria for determining the most plausible interpretation in this field. Additionally, the study seeks to clarify the principles and standards used in favoring and selecting the most robust and logical opinion.The study adopts a descriptive and analytical methodology, relying on reliable library sources. Several significant findings were obtained, indicating that the methodology of comparative interpretation involves identifying the subject and objectives, conducting meticulous comparisons between the opinions and approaches of interpreters, and discussing the relevant evidence based on specific methodologies. The study also emphasizes the importance of recording the comparison results and adopting the prevailing opinion based on credible evidence while avoiding reliance on uncertain views. Furthermore, the results indicate that comparative interpretation contributes to rectifying and adjusting the course of religious interpretation, eliminating weak opinions based on unsound foundations. Moreover, comparative interpretation provides opportunities to explore new perspectives and opens new horizons for ideas and minds, with the aim of developing a comprehensive approach that combines diverse interpretations.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to explore Al-Ghazali's theory of real knowledge and elucidate the concept of knowledge and its integration features in grounding Islamic knowledge according to the contemporary theories of epistemology. The study delves into Al-Ghazali's perspectives on knowledge, analyzing and interpreting them in light of modern knowledge theories. The research finds that the cognitive integration features in Al-Ghazali's philosophy lie in the integration of knowledge sources, methods, sciences, and scholars. This is achieved through a comprehensive review of some of Al-Ghazali's works, as well as relevant studies, books, and research about his contributions to Islamic epistemology. Al-Ghazali encourages scholars to collaborate and integrate their knowledge to attain true understanding, a principle evident in this research through the exploration of modern epistemological concepts. The research utilized both inductive and descriptive methods to identify the characteristics of knowledge and demonstrate its integration aspects in Al-Ghazali's teachings. The research is structured into an introduction and three main sections: the first section introduces Al-Ghazali and his era, the second section explores the concept of knowledge and its integration in Islamic epistemology according to Al-Ghazali, and the third section examines knowledge sources, methods, types of knowledge, and scholars in Al-Ghazali's philosophy.

Abstract

Qatar Airways is an airline that has its head office in Doha and has various employees from various countries. This research raises cultural intimacy within airline organizations. The research method used is a qualitative research method with thematic analysis techniques. The informant determination technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that cultural intimacy within Qatar Airways requires additional training to maintain the existence of the airline's employee performance. The organizational culture that occurs within the company shows that all key informants can follow the organizational culture that exists within the company. Communication that occurs between employees from various countries shows the result that communication misunderstandings often occur due to cultural differences.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit globally at the end of 2019 had a significant impact on the Indonesian economy. The PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions) policy enacted at that time caused various economic problems such as increasing commodity prices in the market and increasing unemployment due to layoffs (Termination of Employment) which occurred due to the declining economic growth rate. This research uses a qualitative approach that aims to identify how the economic impact of the post-Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia and outline how appropriate state defense efforts for the millennial generation to face economic threats as non-military threats that affect national resilience. The results of this study confirm that the concept of state defense efforts must be implemented gradually and continuously in order to instill awareness of state defense in the younger generation. This approach can be done through various channels, both through formal and non-formal education. Promoting the concept of universal defense by involving all potential national resources is key in strengthening national character building. This is done by fostering awareness and state defense skills for every Indonesian citizen, so that they are ready to become part of the human resources that defend the country. Moreover, this approach also strengthens national identity that is rooted in personality and culture based on the values of Pancasila. Given the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on Indonesia's economy, including rising prices of basic necessities, high unemployment rates, and declining investment, it is important that we raise state defense awareness and educate Millennials about their role in maintaining the country's resilience.

Abstract

One of the presences of the Independent Curriculum is a form of curriculum innovation carried out by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia to improve the quality of education. Curriculum innovation refers to using potential part of the curriculum to propose new curriculum ideas or practices in order to solve educational problem or achieve certain goals. This is the case at Namira Islamic High School Medan. Since 2022, it has implemented an independent curriculum based on the demands of being a driving School/pilot School. The research aimed to find out: (1) Independent Curriculum-based PAI Learning Planning at Namira Islamic High School Medan (2) Implementation of Independent Curriculum-based PAI Learning at Namira Islamic High School Medan (3) Evaluation of Independent Curriculum-based PAI Learning at Namira Islamic High School Medan (4) Challenges and Obstacles to Implementing PAI Learning Design at Islamira High School Medan. This research is a type of Qualitative research using observation, interview and documentation methods. Furthermore, the analysis uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely reducing the data that produces findings and then analyzing them to produce conclusive conclusions using an inductive approach. The results of this study generally show that the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum-based PAI learning design at Namira Islamic High School can be carried out well even though it is still in the Learnig by doing adjustment stage. The design begins with consensus (Annual Meeting, Training and Socialization), teaching modules, and determining learning strategies and methods that are PAIKEM GEMBROT (Active Innovative Creative Effective Learning Fun and Totality) and Multimedia. Learning implementation is facilitated by educators as facilitators. Educators are the key to creating independent learning by understanding the totality of the Independent Curriculum learning concept itself. Learning evaluation uses the concept of diagnostic, formative and summative assessments, all of which become a measuring tool for the achievement of student learning outcomes.
