Abstract

The lack of entrepreneurs in Indonesia demands the role of campuses in motivating undergraduates to become entrepreneurs. The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs said that Indonesia needed around 20 million new entrepreneurs. With the increase in entrepreneurs from undergraduate circles, it will reduce the increase in the number of unemployed and even increase the number of jobs. To develop an entrepreneurial culture among the academic community, a model is needed. The model in question is not only based on the scientific potential inherent in entrepreneurship itself (theory) and students as subjects but also its relation to UKMKM including government and private institutions. The relationship between the three will be the axis of change in college graduation.

Abstract

Humans are basically social creatures. In traditional life, the tendency of humans to live socially can be seen from their daily activities that require interaction with other humans such as fulfilling basic needs. They try to find connectivity with other humans in the search for these needs even though they are in different environments and do not know each other, it is the process that then forms communities which are social groups of several organisms that share an environment that generally has the same interests. The development of technology, especially the Internet, has a great impact on the culture of the community in their activities, the growth of this media has an influence on the culture of the community in interacting and communicating. With various developments of internet media such as social media, blogs, microblogs, web-communities, portals and so on, people can easily interact online or directly at the same time without any geographical, space or time restrictions, they can share anything "realtime". “Especially with the development of gadgets that make it easier for people to connect with each other. Interaction between individuals in cyberspace can be said to be a process of representing themselves through the medium of digital internet media, not physical presentations. The ease of connection that continues to develop changes the culture of social activities such as the ease in sharing various problems that exist around them and opening up the active role of its members to build solutions or a common goal. The focus of research in discussing this journal is the role of Information and Communication Technology in the FP3K community (Forum Pemuda Peduli Pendidikan Karo).

Abstract

From year to year, the poverty rate in Indonesia is getting lower. However, reducing poverty is still far from the goals set by the government, such as the MDGs and the 2009–2014 RPJMN. The government needs a new approach to achieve its goal of alleviating poverty, not Information and communication technology is one method (ICT). ICT is considered to be able to evaluate poverty relief in many countries. The Technology Development Index can be used to track ICT growth. One of the main causes of the failure of poverty alleviation efforts in Indonesia is the lack of knowledge of the Indonesian people about technology management and their lack of access to information. Even in big cities, access to complete information and the latest technology is not evenly distributed, as evidenced by the buskers and beggars who still roam the roads (Rizky, et al., 2015: 133). The poverty rate in the city of Medan can increase because of the large punk community there. In theory, information and communication technology should be widely known in all fields (Argiati, 2010:60), but in practice, the urban poverty rate in Medan can increase due to the emergence of a large punk subculture with a poverty background. Therefore, it is interesting to conduct this research to find out how information and communication technology can reduce urban poverty, especially for the punk community in Medan. The lack of information and communication technology literacy also contributes to the creation of many marginalized groups. The purpose of this article is to: Describe the history of punk culture; and discuss how technology, knowledge, and communication can help the punk community fight urban poverty. This study uses a qualitative descriptive methodology. Medan City is the city where this research was conducted. In-depth interviews, documentation, and observation are the three methods used to obtain data.

Abstract

Taxes are one of the sources of state revenue, the government sets taxpayers to the public, especially MSME taxes, looking for sectors that have the potential to increase tax revenue. . This study aims to analyze the effect of changes in the PPH tax rate on MSME taxpayer compliance. This study uses qualitative research methods, with an empirical juridical approach. This study shows the existence of a policy regarding the MSME income tax rate of 1% through Government Regulation no. 46 of 2013. However, the enactment of this regulation experienced pros and cons among the public. As a result, in 2018 the government changed the tax rate by 0.5% through Government Regulation no. 23 of 2018. This policy on reducing income tax rates for MSMEs has an impact on MSME compliance levels as taxpayers. Research conducted at the Binjai Pratama Tax Service Office shows an increase in the compliance of MSME actors in carrying out their tax obligations, so it can be interpreted that the implementation of PP 46 of 2013 provides a significant increase in the efficiency of fulfilling tax obligations for taxpayers at KPP Pratama Binjai.
