Abstract

This paper presents the findings of research that addresses the primary economic barrier preventing blockchain adoption in supply chain management. While blockchain technology has the potential to deliver revolutionary benefits to supply chains, the non-viable nature of Ethereum's on-chain usage, with gas fees of $20.40 to $36.57 per transaction, represents a significant economic cost to enterprises, becoming an insurmountable obstacle, especially in emerging markets. The research employs a radical empiricism approach, systematically measuring the gas cost of over 300 independent test transactions for recording the flow of product materials, validating new vendors, and tracking distributed items against three modular smart contracts: a master contract and two interchangeable module contracts. The identical sets of contracts are deployed across the testing environment of the Polygon zkEVM mainnet, Polygon Cardona testnet, and Ethereum Sepolia testnet, with significance supported at p < 0.01 through a two-tailed t-test. The findings of the research demonstrated that the analyzed network, Polygon zkEVM, was able to demonstrate a 99.90% reduction of costs, from $143.25 to $0.14 for deployment costs and from $8.25 to $0.008 per transaction. The implementation options provide Polygon zkEVM with an extra 46.5% decrease in costs through the use of gas pricing as a determining factor in optimization, as well as an additional 90.9% decrease in costs through operational optimization, as the assessed costs remain less than 0.10% of the generated revenue, meeting the defined economic viability threshold for a need to process 500 transactions daily by an SME in Indonesia.

Abstract

Nickel is one of the minerals that is in demand by many parties, especially now that nickel is an important ingredient in the promotion of green energy because it is a component of electric vehicle production. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), nickel demand in 2020 is 2,340.56 metric tons and according to the sustainable development scenario, nickel demand is projected to reach 6,265.74 metric tons which can account for 60% of total clean energy in 2040. However, the impact of this mining is a case of environmental damage such as road damage, water pollution, air pollution, land damage. Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry Number 6 of 2021 concerning Procedures and Requirements for the Management of Hazardous and Toxic Waste Materials, the determination of the status of B3 waste is carried out through characteristic tests which include explosive, flammable, reactive, infectious, corrosive and/or toxic. TCLP test, LD50 toxicology test and sub-chronic toxicology test were performed to determine the toxic properties of B3 waste. The method used in this study is a concrete mix design job as an advanced processing of cement/concrete manufacturing. This research is experimental where this research aims to determine the relationship between the compressive strength of concrete and the compression testing machine with the concrete mix design method. The test specimen made in this experiment was in the form of a concrete cylinder with a height of 300 mm and a diameter of 150 mm totaling 150 samples with a fermentation period of 7,14,28,54 and 90 days. Carbon sulfur and dirty sulfur are determined as non-B3 waste based on the results of the TCLP test so that further processing and utilization can be carried out. Carbon sulfur & dirty sulfur from the results of laboratory tests showed that the toxicity characteristics leaching procedure (TCLP) and total concentration (TK) values did not exceed the Category B threshold according to PP22 of 2021 so that it was non-B3 waste so that it could be utilized. For the 90-day fermentation period, the highest compressive strength is cs+ds 5%, cs+ds 10% of 179.4 kg/m², 170.3 kg/m². With an economic value for each Cs+Ds 5% of IDR 34,042.50, Cs+Ds of 10% of IDR 36,941.14 and Cs+Ds of 15% of IDR 39,495.52.

Abstract

The Standard Inpatient Class (KRIS) policy is part of the reform of the National Health Insurance (JKN) system which aims to simplify inpatient services and eliminate class differentiation based on the amount of contributions. This policy is considered a step towards more equitable and equitable health services, and reflects the principle of distributive justice according to John Rawls' theory of justice as fairness. In addition, from an economic law perspective, KRIS has the potential to create efficiency in the use of health service resources. This study aims to analyze whether KRIS reflects the principles of justice and efficiency in the legal framework and public policy. The results of the study show that KRIS normatively supports equal access and distribution of services, although technical challenges such as the readiness of hospital infrastructure and the perception of participant dissatisfaction still need to be anticipated. Thus, KRIS is an important foundation in the formation of an inclusive, efficient, and equitable national health system.

Abstract

The application of Electronic Medical Records (Rekam Medis Elektronik, RME) has great potential to improve the quality of health services, but the rate of acceptance by physicians still varies across different contexts. This study aims to identify individual and contextual factors that influence the acceptance of RME by physicians based on recent empirical studies. A systematic review was conducted through an article selection process using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Articles were systematically searched using the keywords: "electronic medical record" AND "physician" AND "acceptance" AND "factor" in the PubMed and ScienceDirect databases. The review was guided by the PICO framework. For this study, P: Physicians, I: Factors influencing acceptance of RME, C: Comparisons between regions, health systems, or types of RME, O: Acceptance of RME. Eight studies met the inclusion criteria, and a narrative synthesis was conducted. The most dominant individual factors included attitudes, perceptions of ease of use, and digital literacy. Key contextual factors were organizational support, technology infrastructure, and leadership engagement. Variations in acceptance patterns were observed between high- and middle-income countries. The acceptance of RME by physicians’ results from a complex interaction between individual-level and contextual determinants. Therefore, implementation strategies for RME should emphasize training, organizational support, and local characteristics to promote sustainable adoption and utilization of EMRs.
