PT Agility International is a company that provides warehousing services. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the effects of cycle count and quality control on the distribution of goods. The research method used was quantitative method using questionnaires and library data as the data collection methods. The data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. The result shows that there is a significant impact between the effect of cycle count and quality control on the distribution of goods, meaning that each increase in cycle count X1 is followed by an increase in Y distribution and each increase in quality control X2 is followed by an increase in distribution. With r=0,337 as the coefficient correlation, there is a low impact between X1, X2 and Y. Coefficient of determination test shows 11,35% meaning that there is a positive contribution by the cycle count and quality control to the distribution of goods. On the other hand, 88,65% of it is determined by other factors affecting X1 and X2 variables to Y.

This study aims to determine the extent to which consumer attitudes and perceptions of the interest or desire of the public to use the train as the preferred means of transportation during the Covid 19 pandemic, either partially or simultaneously. In this study using quantitative methods with multiple regression analysis, t-test, and f test to determine the effect of variables either partially or simultaneously using a convenience sample of 96 respondents. The results show that there is a positive and significant influence both partially and simultaneously on consumer attitudes and perceptions of interest in using trains during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Safety is one of the conditions that should be met for a ship to be seaworthy. Besides safety, the welfare of the ship’s crew (ABK) should be guaranteed. The aim of this research is to provide input to the Ministry of Transportation about the welfare conditions of ship’s crew on Indonesia flag state. The data analysis method used in this study was qualitative, means that the data collected was based on the problem on-board, in the form of a questionnaire to 400 Indonesian ship’s crew of Indonesian ships (size 300 GT above domestic shipping and size 500 GT above foreign shipping). The results of the analysis shows that the need for improvement of the Ship’s Articles documents in accordance with admiralty/nautical laws which are the ship’s crew gets salary without any benefits, the average work exceeds the specific working hours, minimum accommodation facilities, unfulfilled full compliment of health insurance and employment, as well as the absence of compliance with national sea transportation companies to fulfill the contents of the ship’s articles.

The objectives of the research are to identify and analyze circulation of passengers and services at PuloGebang Integrated Terminal waiting area during peak season. Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal is the South-East Asia’s largest terminal, inaugurated in December 2016. The method used in this research was simple linear regression. The result shows that the value gap between the level of expectation and the level of performance is negative, with the correlation coefficient of 0,751 and coefficient of determination of 56,4%. The hypothesis test result shows 10,913 > 1,66, meaning that the quality of services has strong and positive effects towards passengers’ satisfaction at Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal departure waiting area.

The purpose of this study is to determine the causes of welding accidents on-board. The problem of work accidents is caused by the lack of the ship’s crew discipline to use the safety equipment while working. The data processing method was using descriptive method. The researchers tried to observe the cases that often occur on the ship related to the previous problem and note the causes and solutions to improve the ship’s crew discipline while working. The main potential hazards for hot work activities on vessels are fire and explosion. The implementation of the hot work permit system at Merak, Banten Port is in accordance with NFPA 51 B 2009 of Standard Fire Prevention during Welding, Cutting, and other Hot Work.

Inter Terminal Transfer activities must be supported by Effective loading and unloading activities in order to maximize Throughput. The research objective in this study was to determine the effect of Inter Terminal Transfer and loading and unloading activities on Throughput at KSO TPK KOJA in 2019. This study uses primary data obtained from the results of respondents' answers by distributing questionnaires to employees. This research is a quantitative research by collecting The data is using the Likert scale, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient analysis, and hypothesis testing, both simple and multiple. Then the results obtained are if the Inter Terminal Transfer variable has a partial effect on Throughput, loading and unloading variables on Throughput, and the effect of Inter Terminal Transfer variables and loading and unloading variables jointly on Throughput variables. The results of the F test show that there is a significant regression effect of the Inter Terminal Transfer Variable (X1) and Loading and Unloading (X2) on the Variable Throughput (Y) KSO TPK KOJA in 2019.

The purpose of this research is to identify the effectiveness of VTS implementation in Sunda Strait and to determine the factors of VTS Merak Station operational staff obstacles in carrying out the work instructions for monitoring and identifying ships disturbances to formulate immediate action in order to ensure the shipping safety. This descriptive method research used qualitative approach by conducting an analysis of the VTS implementation suitability with the regulations at Merak Station. The regulations have been set by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation in terms of VTS service SOP documents congruence with operational staff qualifications. The results show that the implementation of the VTS service at Merak Station has been carried out in accordance to the SOP though it is still facing obstacles; shipping companies and ship’s crew who do not fully understand the purpose of applying VTS in Sunda Strait. Moreover, not all VTS staff are certified related to navigational knowledge/skills (eg. VTS certificates) and to Nautical/Technical knowledge/skills (eg. ANT Certificate). Based on the research results, it is recommended that a system to communicate and coordinate should be built between regulators; the Navigation Directorate of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation and stakeholders, to ensure that VTS services at Merak Station could be implemented based on the regulations.

This research aims to identify the impact of delivery in full, on time (DIFOT), just in time (JIT), and logistics costs due to the expansion of odd-even policy on logistics activities in DKI Jakarta. This research used primary data obtained from the questionnaire distributed to business people in the logistics sector. The instrument model used in this study was multiple linear regression. The result shows that the three variables, which were delivery in full, on time (DIFOT), and just-in-time (JIT), has strong (significant) impacts on logistics activities. On the other hand, logistics cost has less impact on logistics activities since anticipation could still be done by hiring outsourcing partners for transportation vehicle units and adjusting distribution times for areas affected by odd-even policy.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether Service Quality could increase customer loyalty which in this study shown by Grab service customer satisfaction. This research method used path analysis techniques (path analysis). Path analysis is an extension of regression analysis, to estimate the causal relationship between pre-defined variables. The results of statistical calculations show that the Service Quality variable has a significant effect on the Customer Satisfaction variable with a coefficient value of 0.893 and a significant effect on the Customer Loyalty variable with a coefficient value of 0.204. Moreover, the Customer Satisfaction variable has a significant effect on the Customer Loyalty variable with a coefficient value of 0.668. Based on those results, the Service Quality has a significant effect on Customer Loyalty with a path coefficient of 0.204 and a significant value of 0.000 (sig probability <0.05). The other result of indirect testing effect between the Service Quality on Customer Loyalty through Customer Satisfaction shows the path coefficient of 0.596524 which means the indirect effect is significant. Thus, it could be concluded that the Service Quality could increase Customer Loyalty or act as a mediating variable.
