Abstract

Spinach plants as leaf vegetables have long been known and loved by the wider community. However, the impact is very large in terms of improving the household economy, especially the provision of nutritious food and also a source of family income. Data collection uses documentation, identification, and observation. This research was conducted in Troso Village, Pecangaan District, Jepara Regency. The height of the place meters above sea level. The research was carried out with field observations of 21 points. The research method used was the identification of each species of spinach consisting of Sand Spinach (Cyathula prostrata) = 182 species, Thorn Spinach (Amaranthus spinosus) = 2 species, Red Spinach (Amaranthus retroflexus) = 75 species, Boroco (Celosia Argentea) = 22 species , Flower knop (Gomphrena goblosa) = 23 species, Bunga Kremah (Altenathera Sesillis) = 121 species, Jorong (Achyranthes Aspera) = 15 species. The results of the research show that there are many plant species of the Amanranthaceae family. The plant species found will be identified based on their morphological characteristics.

Abstract

One of the thinking skills is reasoning ability, which includes the process of connecting facts to existing ideas. Each understudy needs great thinking abilities, particularly in the area of SCIENCE so understudies can all the more effectively associate an occasion with the ideas they have learned. The motivation behind this review was to uncover the degree of thinking capacity of the Center and Secondary School Understudies at the Badan Karya Keuskupan Sanggau Establishment. Understudies' thinking skills were estimated utilizing the Lawson Study hall Test Logical Prevailing upon 12 sets of answer-reason things introduced in various decision structure. During the 2021/22 school year, the entire middle and high school population in the Badan Karya Keuskupan Sanggau Foundation's Mathematics and Natural Sciences class served as the research sample. Questions are given online through Google structure. The study revealed that junior and senior high school students in the Badan Karya Keuskupan Sanggau Foundation's Mathematics and Natural Sciences class had reasoning abilities that were still very low on each indicator, falling into the very poor category. The majority of students can only develop concrete reasoning patterns.Key word : Resioning, Lawson's test

Abstract

Teaching materials such as LKPD in biology learning are still limited and not yet interactive. The aim of the research was to find out how the validity level of student worksheets in high school biology lessons had been developed by tracing articles that were in accordance with the research. The method used in this research is meta-analysis by taking data from 5 national articles from Google Scholar. The results of the study show that the PBL-based LKPD is valid. Based on the results of observations and discussions conducted, it is known that PBL-based worksheets are valid and appropriate for use in learning.

Abstract

The fact that local people use plants as materials for their daily needs, be it medicine, art, cosmetics, etc. is called ethnobotany. Ethnobotany is engaged in various fields, one of which is cosmetic ethnobotany. In ancient times cosmetic products have become an important part of people's lives.Its use is widespread for both beauty and health purposes. The use of plants in Sambikiting Village, Sambilawang Village, Waringinkurung District is very diverse in the cosmetic field. Plants that are often used by the community are Magnoiophyta plants, including coconut, guava shoots, betel leaves, and rice.

Abstract

Secondary metabolite like phenolic compounds found in kersen leaves have function to bind free radical. Emulgel is a preparation that is not greasy, spreads evenly, soft, and long lasting on storage. The objective of this study was to determine the physical quality of emulgel of kersen leave ethanol extract with various concentrations of carbopol 940, to determine the potential and effective concentration of carbopol 940 in emulgel of kersen leave ethanol extract as a sunscreen. This study used several formula with various concentration of carbopol 940 which is 1, 1.5, and 2%. Physical quality testing include organoleptic, homogeneity, spreading power test, adhesion test, pH test, and viscosity test. Determination of Sun Protecting Factor (SPF) value was carried out in vitro using UV-Vis spectrophotometry and Mansyur Calculation. The results obtained showed that emulgel of kersen leave ethanol extract with variations of the gelling agent carbopol 940 was stable for 21 days on storage and have activity as a sunscreen. Emulgel of kersen leave ethanol extract (Muntingia calabura L.) 1% concentration of carbopol 940 is the most effective as a sunscreen preparation with 25,42 SPF value which categories ultra protection.Keywords: kersen leave ethanol estrak, emulgel, sunscreen, SPF.
