Abstract

The Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 3 and 20 of 2020, students are given the right to study for a maximum of three semesters of study outside the study program and campus through the Merdeka Learning-Independent Campus or “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” (MBKM) Program and the Pancasila student profile as the embodiment of Indonesian students. “Merdeka” Student Exchange Program or “Program Pertukaran Mahasiswa” (PMM) to accommodate the MBKM program and the realization of the Pancasila student profile. In the implementation of PMM, there are learning activities that provide experiences of diversity, inspiration, reflection, and national social contribution through the Nusantara Module (MN). The MN provides an opportunity to implement the concept of Pancasila student character in the implementation of PMM at the University of Merdeka Malang. The purpose of this study was to obtain the concept of the character of Pancasila students in higher education. The research method used descriptive qualitative, with the entire population of the PMM participants in the University of Merdeka Malang. Data were obtained through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and FGDs. The result is the concept of Pancasila character in higher education could be supported by the PMM program with the MN activities.

Abstract

The beginning of this major change was the existence of a very large gap between the output of university graduates and the need for experts in the business and industrial world so that various forms of MBKM activities were projected to provide real contextual experiences that could increase competence, prepare well to enter the world of work and industry, and create new jobs. One of the MBKM programs with the greatest possibility according to competency linearity is the Certified Independent Study and Internship Program (MSIB), where students go directly to the world of work and learn according to their competencies based on experience in the field or project-based learning. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative, with the entire population of the University of Merdeka Malang academic community, MSIB participants, and stakeholders in the MSIB Program. Data were obtained through questionnaires, interviews, and Forum Group Discussion. Some of the measurable results include the impact of the implementation of the MSIB program having a good perception at Merdeka University Malang, students have high motivation and interest in implementing the MSIB program, the MSIB program has a direct influence as evidenced by the assessments given by lecturers and students' perspectives on themselves. The results obtained from the implementation of the MSIB Program provide real contextual experiences that can increase competence, prepare well to enter the world of work and industry, as well as the ability create new jobs.

Abstract

Today, many GPS systems operate in distorted areas, so the need for an equalizer is absolute. The Zero Forcing Equalizer type which is controlled by a data-based channel estimator is the most widely used type of equalizer. The Kalman equalizer was tried to improve the performance of the Zero Forcing equalizer, in terms of Mean Squared Error (MSE). The channel is modeled as a multipath fading channel according to the Jake channel, arranged in the form of a tapped delay line based on the measured power delay profile. The data-based channel estimator model uses a training sequence that is sent to each frame, with a GSM frame structure. The equalizer is modeled as a zero-forcing equalizer controlled by a channel estimator and a direct form Kalman equalizer.

Abstract

The expansion of national and international urban markets for agriculture created turmoil in the rural economy. Agricultural areas are being pulled into the orbit of the urban economy, turning villagers into cash farmers Availability of labor-saving modern agricultural machinery resulting in reduced rural employment Changes in the dynamics of rural-urban relations contribute to the flow of people with dreams of succeeding in cities More complete An urbanization, the more certain its freedom from natural obstacles, the more the city develops as a free entity (a unit that is born), the more fatal the consequences for the region that dominates it.

Abstract

The strength of tradition supports the stability of the elements from one generation to another. This shows that from one community group there is a tradition in which every element of the tradition will be passed down to the next generation. The house is not just a place to shelter, rest, and have a family, but it can also function to mobilize the residents' resources by looking at the opportunities that exist. In general, the concept of home and work includes social and cultural dimensions, namely as a house that is used as a place to live without other meaningful activities, and a production house, namely a house that is partly used for productive or economic activities. There is a use of space that should be mostly for residential needs (domestic) into activities for doing business (productive). Household Based Enterprises (UBR) in Kampung Sanan "Tempe' Malang, experienced a change in the pattern of occupancy which was influenced by the part of the house that was important to their business.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of gross domestic product growth rate, growth rate, inflation rate, deposit interest rate, rupiah exchange rate, dividend payment, asset growth, leverage, liquidity, earnings variability, and accounting beta on stock investment risk; and analyze which variables have a dominant influence on stock investment risk. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, shows that the variables of gross domestic product, inflation, deposit interest rates, exchange rates, dividend payment growth, leverage, liquidity, asset size, and earnings variability simultaneously have a significant effect on stock investment risk. Dividend payment variables, leverage, and asset size partially have a significant effect on stock investment risk, while the variables of gross domestic product, inflation, deposit rates, exchange rates, asset growth, liquidity, and income variability partially have no significant effect on stock investment.  The variable that has the dominant effect on stock investment risk is leverage.

Abstract

Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) was established through Permendikbud No. 3 of 2020 concerning National Standards for Higher Education (SN-Dikti). MBKM brings significant changes, where universities must make adjustments to these changes. The success of the implementation of MBKM in higher education is measured using 8 Key Performance Indicators (IKU). One of the 9 BKP that is quite interesting is the National Defense activity or Komponen Cadangan (Komcad). Currently, the Ministry of Defense is preparing derivative regulations from the RI Law Number 23 of 2019 concerning the Management of National Resources for National Defense relating to the formation of Reserve Components. Discipline and Honesty. Student motivation directly influences Interest in Enrolling in the MBKM: Komcad Program, meaning that each student's motivation greatly encourages student interest in enrolling in the MBKM: Komcad program. Indirectly, discipline through Student Motivation has a significant influence on Interest in Enrolling in the MBKM: Komcad Program, meaning that Interest in Enrolling in the MBKM: Komcad Program is strongly influenced by the discipline and motivation of the students themselves.

Abstract

Heat transfer is the study of how heat moves or flows from a place with a high temperature to a lower temperature so that heat can move due to a "temperature difference". There are three types of heat transfer, but for heat flow through composite materials, heat transfer analysis uses conduction heat transfer analysis. The rate of heat transfer through the composite material will vary depending on several parameters such as material properties, surface area, material thickness, and other parameters. Research to find out how big the influence of heat source variations on the rate of heat transfer through the composite wall resulted in the conclusion that the heat transfer rate also increased in proportion to the increase in the heat source. However, the use of composite walls in series causes the overall heat transfer rate to decrease because it is influenced by the thickness of the material. The thicker the material, the lower the heat transfer rate.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Ficotama Bina Trampil Malang handles the sending of TKI abroad to Hong Kong. The TKI who was dispatched to Hong Kong worked as a housemaid (housekeeper). Apart from PT. Ficotama Bina Trampil Malang was also carried out at the Malang Manpower and Transmigration Office. The results of the study show that TKI and PJTKI often commit violations in the work agreement, do not meet the health, age, or skills requirements of the prospective TKI, TKI who change employers without reporting to the PJTKI, do not report contract extensions, run away from employers and so on. Meanwhile, the Manpower and Transmigration Office in supervising PJTKIs still has violations, especially in implementing regulations regarding the placement of Indonesian Migrant Workers abroad, for example, incomplete documents for the departure of prospective TKI abroad such as work visas or work agreements.
