Abstract

Arabica coffee leaves (Coffea arabica L.) are a herbal medicine used to treat hypertension, diarrhea, malaria, fever, diabetic and hypercholesterolemia. However, it is feared that the use of herbal medicines will cause side effects during pregnancy, especially defects in the fetus. This concern arises due to the lack of information regarding the side effects and toxicity of herbal medicines. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the teratogenic effects of Arabica coffee leaf infusion (Coffea arabica L.) on test animals. This study used varying concentrations of Arabica coffee leaf infusion of 2.5%, 5%, and 10%, which were given orally during the organogenesis period of white mice (Mus Musculus) pregnancy, days 6-15 of pregnancy. On the 18th day, a laparotomy was performed, then the fetus was observed to see whether there were skeletal and external malformations. The statistical results of one-way ANOVA show that there is an abnormality in the fetus in the form of low birth weight (LBW), and the incidence of fetal death increases with each administration of a larger concentration/1 infusion. Statistical results of two-way ANOVA showed that the concentration and length of treatment significantly influenced the mother's body weight (P<0.05), while the interaction between the two had no significant effect (P>0.05). The research results show that Arabica coffee leaf infusion has the potential to have a teratogenic effect on the fetus.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding various concentrations of palm sugar and granulated sugar on the quality characteristics of diamonds and to determine the most preferred concentration of palm sugar and granulated sugar based on organoleptic tests. This study used a completely randomised design with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Observations made in this study were organoleptic test, water content test, fat content test, and sugar content test. The results showed that the addition of palm sugar and granulated sugar to the diamond had a significant effect (significantly different) on aroma, texture, moisture content, and sugar content.

Abstract

The black garlic fermentation process requires a stable power supply to maintain optimal temperature and humidity. However, continuous use of grid electricity increases operational costs. Therefore, this study aims to develop a backup power system using solar panels to reduce reliance on PLN electricity and improve fermentation efficiency. The method used in this study includes designing and implementing a solar panel-based alternative energy system, combined with batteries as energy storage. An automatic control system was developed using Arduino Mega and ESP32, which receives data from ACS712, PZEM004T, and voltage sensors to determine the power source. The monitoring data is displayed via an LCD and accessed in real-time using the Firebase platform and MIT App Inventor. The test results indicate that the system can effectively switch from grid power to solar panels based on detected voltage conditions. By implementing this system, electricity consumption from PLN can be significantly reduced, while solar power can be optimally utilized to sustain the black garlic fermentation process.

Abstract

Research has been conducted on the determination of antioxidant activity using the parameters of Bond Dissociation Enthalpy (BDE), Single Electron Transfer-Proton Transfer (SET-PT), Proton Affinity (PA), and Electron Transfer Enthalpy (ETE) of myricetin, quercetin, and kaempferol compounds. Furthermore, through the geometric stages using the AM1 semi-empirical method. The results obtained showed that myricetin compounds have better antioxidant activity compared to quercetin and kaempferol compounds by considering the results of high BDE values, low SET-PT, high PA, and low ETE.

Abstract

Peternakan sapi merupakan salah satu sektor penting di Indonesia dalam mendorong perekonomian dan ketahanan pangan negara. Namun, peternakan sapi sering kali menghadapi masalah seperti penurunan produksi dan kematian akibat penyakit pada sapi. Melalui sistem pakar, identifikasi penyakit pada sapi dilakukan berdasarkan gejala yang teramati. Dalam penelitian ini, metode Forward Chaining diterapkan untuk diagnosa penyakit pada sapi berdasarkan gejala yang dipilih oleh peternak. Dengan sistem ini, proses diagnosa menjadi lebih objektif, cepat, dan efisien. Evaluasi kinerja sistem dan metode Forward Chaining dilakukan dengan menganalisis nilai probabilitas pada level 0 dan 1 untuk mengukur akurasi diagnosa, serta meninjau keunggulan dan keterbatasan metode Fordward Chaining pada sistem pakar. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan probabilitas, tingkat akurasi diagnosa sistem terhadap keputusan pakar mencapai 93,3% dalam mendiagnosa penyakit pada sapi.

Abstract

Kendaraan otonom berkembang pesat sebagai solusi transportasi masa depan yang lebih aman dan efisien, namun rentan terhadap serangan siber yang membahayakan pengendara dan infrastruktur. Penelitian ini mengembangkan metode investigasi forensik serangan siber pada kendaraan otonom menggunakan deep learning. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pengumpulan data serangan, pre-processing, serta pelatihan model deep learning berbasis Transformer, RNN, dan LSTM. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengukur akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LSTM memiliki performa terbaik dengan akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score sebesar 1,0000, dibandingkan Transformer yang mencapai akurasi 0,316667 dan RNN dengan performa terendah. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa LSTM lebih efektif dalam mendeteksi pola serangan siber pada kendaraan otonom. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada keamanan siber dengan menyediakan pendekatan deep learning yang meningkatkan deteksi dan mitigasi serangan. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan eksplorasi teknik hybrid deep learning serta pengujian dalam skenario serangan yang lebih kompleks guna meningkatkan keandalan sistem keamanan kendaraan otonom.

Abstract

Plagiarism can damage the credibility and reputation of the author, and can also result in the withdrawal of articles, disciplinary sanctions, and legal action. In the academic world, plagiarism can threaten a student's graduation and a lecturer's academic career. The term plagiarism has entered various disciplines and fields of life as a form of violation of intellectual ethics. Writing is a skill that cannot be obtained quickly and instantly because it requires a long process and time. The more time spent writing scientific articles, the more experience and knowledge will be gained about writing scientific articles. A scientific article is a writing that contains ideas, thoughts and thoughts from a person or group of people through a research or non-research process that is expressed in the form of a written report by observing certain systematics, methods and rules so that its truth can be tested. The impact that can occur due to plagiarism is that it can damage both the individual and the institution. One of the requirements for a good and quality scientific article must be able to provide benefits or contributions to science. The contribution in question is like producing a new theory or perfecting previous theories. Researchers need to pay attention to all parts of writing scientific papers with full care and responsibility.
