Abstract

One of the skin diseases that are often encountered by teenagers is acne. Acne is caused by several factors, one of which is a bacterial infection, namely the bacteria Propionibacterium acnes. One of the anti-acne preparations is anti-acne facial cleanser. Soap is formed from the reaction of saponification of triglycerides using alkali. One of the triglycerides that can be used in soap making is Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). One of the anti-acne soap is transparent soap. To improve the quality of transparent soap preparations, in this study purified gambier extract was added. The polyphenolic compounds contained in this gambier extract are catechins which are antimicrobial and antioxidant compounds. Addition with variations in the concentration of purified gambier extract F0:0, F1: 0.25%, F2: 0.50% and F3: 0.75%. Soap was evaluated for its physical properties, namely pH, organoleptic, homogeneity, water content, high foam test, stability of preparation and antibacterial activity test against Propionibacterium acnes bacteria. Based on the research results, it is known that the purified gambir extract combined with VCO can be used as a transparent soap preparation that meets the requirements and has an inhibitory power against the bacteria Propionibacterium acnes ATCC 11827.

Abstract

Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (ARCH) and Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH) models were used for modeling with heteroscedasticity data. This study aims to determine the time series model on the stock price data of PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk. (TAPG) with modeling ARMA, ARCH and GARCH. Based on the smallest Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and Schwarz Criterion (SC), it shows that the ARMA(1,0)-GARCH(2,1) model is the best model for predicting the value of TAPG stock prices.

Abstract

This study discusses the convolution or the sum of independent and identical random variables, where the random variables are two distribution of Negative Binomial distribution so that the resulting distribution is known as the Negative Binomial - Negative Binomial. The purpose of this study is to find the characteristics of the distribution including the expected value, the variance value, the moment generating function and the characteristic function. This property is obtained by using theorems and lemmas that relate to the properties of a distribution. Abstract

Clausenaexcavata is a plant that is widespread in tropical regions including Indonesia. This study aims to identify the compounds of secondary metabolites found in clausenaexcavata leaf extract as a reference for Indonesian medicinal plant halls and possible applications in the field of engineering like corrosion inhibitors. FTIR analysis has been used to determine the functional groups contained in the methanol extract of Sicerek (Clausena excavata) leaves. The results of identification and analysis of FTIR spectrum showed that the methanol extract of Clausenaexcavata contained O-H, N-H, C-N, C-H, C-O functional groups leaves contained phenolic compounds, flavonoids, coumarin, alkaloids, saponins and terpenoids.

Abstract

Cinnamon has the potential to be developed into a drink in the form of syrup by modifying the concentration ratio of palm sugar and granulated sugar. Food assessment methods that use the five senses are organoleptic assessments and are generally called sensory tests. Assessment with these senses, is widely used to assess the quality of agricultural commodity products. The organoleptic test was carried out by 20 untrained panelists. The results showed that the comparison of the concentration of granulated sugar and palm sugar that the panelists preferred the most was in treatment C, namely the concentration of 50% palm sugar and 50% granulated sugar. The value of color preference is 3.7, taste is 3.6 and aroma is 3.5. Abstract

Integrated Patient Development Record (CPPT) is documentation between professions providing nursing care regarding integrated patient development in the form of patient medical records, which functions to improve the quality of communication between professions at the hospital. In this medical record data contains SOAP data (subjective, objective, assessment, Plan). This study aims to study the analysis of the completeness of writing integrated patient progress notes by pharmacists in the Non-Surgical Inpatient Installation (IRNA) room of Dr. M. Djamil Padang. This research is a descriptive analytical research with retrospective approach and data collection. Data collection system is random sampling. The sampling technique used is the raosoft calculator, the total population obtained was 8,190 populations, 367 medical record data were collected for analysis, taken every 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th. The observed data was taken from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019. In this research, the results of the analysis of the completeness of the pharmacist's CPPT writing were 270 pharmacist CPPT data (74%) which were written completely from the 367 pharmacists' CPPT analyzed, and 97 pharmacist CPPT data (26%) which were written incomplete from the 367 pharmacist CPPT data analyzed.

Abstract

Borax is one of the non-food additives that is prohibited from being used in food but is still often misused. Regulation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2012 concerning food additives, prohibits the use of borax in food products because it can endanger health. Borax examination can be done quantitatively and qualitatively. In this study, qualitative identification of borax was carried out using a natural indicator, namely asoka flower extract (Ixora paludosa L.). Identification of borax was carried out on meatballs, noodles, tofu, crackers, rice cakes and nuggets. The results obtained are 4 samples of borax positive and 2 samples of negative borax. Samples that were positive for borax showed a color change from yellow to brownish red.

Abstract

Borax is a dangerous preservative and is not permitted for use in food. Borax can also interfere with metabolic enzymes. By utilizing herbal plants, namely by utilizing andaliman plants which contain terpenoids which have antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. This research method is experimental using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 16 male white rats with 4 treatment groups. The negative group was induced by distilled water for 14 days. positive control was induced by borax for 14 days, treatment groups 1 & 2 were induced by borax and andaliman extract for 14 days (P1=350 P2=400 mg/kg BW). The data obtained were tested using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results of the one way ANOVA test on the observation of the number of erythrocytes showed a significant level of p = 0.00 which indicated that the induction of borax had a significant effect on the number of erythrocytes (p <0.05) and the results of the one way ANOVA test on the observation of the amount of hemoglobin showed a significant level of p = 0.047 which indicates that the induction of borax had a significant effect on the amount of hemoglobin (p <0.05).

Abstract

At this time chat has been considered as a facility that can be used to communicate directly both remotely and at close range. Those who must be connected online with internet users around the world. In this case, this research will be applied to the WhatsApp text messaging application using the method applied, namely Caesar cipher cryptography. The system development method that will be used for this research is the prototype method. The results obtained from this research method are chat messages on the WhatsApp application encrypted using Caesar cipher cryptography with message encryption using end-to-end processing techniques where encryption and message descriptions can be done while chatting.
