Abstract

The study aims to discover whether there is an influence of the perceptions on teachers and achievement motivation in online learning on learning outcomes in grade X MIA at SMAN 3 Takalar in academic year 2020/2021 on Chemical Bonding subject. This type of research is correlational by using the design of the influence of independent variable on dependent variable. The study population was students of grade X MIA at SMAN 3 Takalar for academic year 2020/2021 which consisted of 6 classes with 216 students. The research sample was taken by employing random sampling, which obtained one class with 36 students. Hypothesis testing was conducted by employing simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that: (1) there is an influence of the perception on teachers in online learning on learning outcomes ingrade X MIA at SMAN 3 Takalar on Chemical Bonding subject with a determination index (R) of 0.269, (2) there is an influence of achievement motivation in online learning on learning outcomes ingrade X MIA at SMAN 3 Takalar on Chemical Bonding subject with a determination index (R) of 0.410, and (3) there is an influence of perception on teachers and achievement motivation collectively in online learning on learning outcomes ingrade X MIA at SMAN 3 Takalar on Chemical Bonding subject with adetermination index (R) of 0.499.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media animasi dalam  model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 21 Makassar pada materi kesetimbangan kimia. Desain penelitian Post test-Only Control Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 21 Makassar yang terdiri dari 8 kelas. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara random sampling dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis sebanyak 15 soal uraian yang terbagi menjadi 3 kode soal yang telah divalidasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu deskripsi dan pengujian hipotesis terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian diperoleh deskripsi rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis dan standar deviasi untuk kelompok eksperimen adalah 81,35%, dan 7,78. Sedangkan rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis dan standar deviasi untuk kelompok kontrol adalah 70,53% dan 7,27. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan uji-t pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 diperoleh nilai thitung = 180,33 dan nilai ttabel =1,67. Dengan membandingkan nilai thitung 180,33 > ttabel 1,668 artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media animasi dalam model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 21 Makassar. Kata kunci:      Inkuiri terbimbing, keterampilan berpikir kritis, aktivitas belajar dan kesetimbangan kimia

Abstract

The objective of the study is to examine the quality of metacognitive knowledge test instrument on Acid-Base subject. The metacognitive knowledge is a deep awareness and understanding on the process and product of cognition possessed by the students. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) using Plomp’s development model which consisted of 5 stages, namely (1) initial investigation stage, (2) design stage, (3) realization stage, (4) test, evaluation, and revision stage, and (5) implementation stage. The test subject of the research was grade XI MIPA 1 at SMAN 1 Makassar with 33 students. The result of the content of questions validity based on the three experts confirmed as valid with CVI value 1 in very appropriate category. The test result of students’ response questionnaire is stated as meet the criteria because it indicates positive response by 77.78%. The analysis result of  items validity is stated as valid category, rcount (Corrected Item Total Correlation) > rtable by 0.344; whereas, the items reliability is stated as reliable with the value of 0.827 which is in high category.   The analysis of the average difficulty level of items is 0.61 with moderate criteria. The test instrument of distractor power shows good category with the average 0.44. The analysis result of the students’ metacognitive knowledge level obtains the average of good category by 66.47%.

Abstract

This descriptive research aims to discover the students’ ability in solving question in Factual, Conceptual, Prosedural and Metacognitive dimension in class XI MIA of Senior High School in Enrekang District. The population of the research was all of the students class XI MIA of Senior High School in Enrekang Discrict which consisted of 39 classes with the total 907 students. The sample of the research was selected by using stratified purposive random sampling technique and obtained SMA 1 Alla, SMA 1 Anggeraja, SMA 1 Baraka, SMA Masalle and SMA Muhammadiyah Kalosi, 5 classes with the total 150 student. The instrument of the research were questionnaire and learning result test. The result of the research show that (i) the ability of the students in solving the question in factual dimension is in sufficient category; conceptual dimension is in low category; procedural dimension is in low category; metecognitif dimension is in very low category in class XI MIA of Senior High School in Enrekang Discrict; (ii) there is no difference in the achievement of factual, conceptual, and procedural ability of the school in the city or in the main road with the school in the suburb (out of town) and the favorite schools with non-favorite school; (iii) there are difference in the achievement of metacognitif ability of the school in the city or in the main road with the school in the suburb (out of town) and the favorite schools with non-favorite school; (iv) there are difference of the students’ leaning result of the school in the city or in the main road with the school in the suburb (out of town) and the favorite schools with non-favorite school.

Abstract

The research aims to examining the influence of guided inquiry learning model on critical thinking ability and chemistry learning autcomes of students on chemistry bond learning material. This research method uses an experimental method with two treatments. Data analysis using normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test and analysis to test the hypothesis was using one way ANOVA at a significant level of 0.05. The ruselt of descriptive analysis obtained the mean score of critical thinking ability and learning outcome in experiment class by 79.85 and the control class 57.89 whit each of standard of deviation 11.77 and 12.29. The mean percentage of critical thinking ability indicator in experiment class is 83.91 in high category and in control class is 49.63 in moderate category. The result of hypothesis test with t-test at the level of significance α = 0.05 obtained tcount 4.48 > ttable 2.02 and significance (0.001 < 0.05) indicated that the hypothesis is accepted. The conclusion of the study is there influence of guided inquiry learning model on the critical thinking ability and learning outcomes of grade X MIA at SMA Muhammadiyah Luhu on Chemistry Bond learning material.

Abstract

This research is a study development that aims to develop an animated video-based learning media with guided inquiry learning models to increase students’ motivation and learning outcomes on chemical equilibrium materials that are valid, practical, and effective. The development model used in this study refers to the 4D development model, which consists of the defining stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. The results of this study indicate that 1) the assessment of media validity by the media and material experts is in very valid category, 2) the responses of students and teachers to the learning media developed also received very high categories so that the media is stated as  practical, 3) The learning motivation of the class that uses animation media (MA) is also higher than the class that doesn’t use animation media (TMA) with a value of 81.33 and 71.41. In the field test phase to 33 students of the class MA and 32 of the class TMA students of SMAN 11 Makassar obtained class completeness by 84.8% and 75% respectively. Based on Mann Whitney-U test obtained the significance of the p value is smaller than α (0.014 < 0.05), which means there are differences between the two groups significantly. The animated video-based learning media that had been developed with 4D model is valid, practical, and effective to be applied in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the profile of Chem-Magz colloid system based on Flipbook Maker as a learning resource for high school students and produce a colloidal system Chem-Magz product based on Flipbook Maker as a valid, practical, and effective learning resource for high school students. The type of research used in this research is development research or R&D with the ADDIE development model. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kalukku in class XI MIPA students. The data collection technique uses an instrument in the form of a product assessment questionnaire to assess aspects of validity, assess aspects of practicality, and to assess aspects of the effectiveness of learning media. The results of the study show that the development profile of Chem-Magz based on flipbook maker consists of 1) Cover or cover designed using Adobe InDesign with a background image related to colloidal material 2) Supporting Information related to brief information about Chem-Magz 3) Contents or table of contents according to sub main subject of colloid system 4) Content of material consisting of colloid system material which is equipped with supporting images and videos 5) The tasks listed in the design are as attractive as possible and 6) Cover Cover with background images related to the material and contains a cover about colloid system material and in general, the results of the flipbook maker-based Chem-Magz development in this study are valid, practical and effective. (a) Valid, based on the results of validation by experts at Chem-Magz based on flipbook maker obtaining an average score of 3.76 with a very valid category which lies in the range of 3.5 X/Y/Z 4 with a very valid category, (b) practical, based on observations by observers that the learning device was "completely implemented" during the trial with an average value of 1.96 which was in the range of 1.5 M 2.0, while the overall response of teachers and students was in the category of "Very Positive" and (c) effective, the classical completeness of student learning outcomes is achieved which shows that the percentage of student learning outcomes of 40% is in the very good category, 48% is in the good category, 4% is in the sufficient category, and 8% in the less category. Table 4.12 shows that of the 25 students who took the learning outcomes test, there were 90% who achieved classical completeness, namely 23 students who completed and 10% who did not achieve classical completeness, namely 2 students who did not complete.

Abstract

This research is the development of (research and development), which includes the development of learning tools that is devoted to the development of learners' worksheets (LKPD) for material separation and analysis on Learners class XII SMK Negeri 3 Bantaeng Bantaeng. Development procedures used in this study is a model Thiagarajan consisting of four stages: define, design, develop and disseminate or adapted into a 4-D model is the definition, design, development and deployment. LKPD based environments are developed, validated by experts and practitioners and has undergone minor revisions to obtain decent results used. The results showed that the device STAD cooperative learning are valid, practical and effective. Worksheet learners (LKPD) used met the criteria of validity, namely the category of "very valid". Additional learning tools are validated as supporting data, including books learners (BPD), and the lesson plan (RPP) is in the category "Valid". LKPD used otherwise practical for LKPD implemented entirely in the category and the response of teachers gave a positive response. LKPD said to be effective because it has met the criteria of effectiveness, with the results: (1) The teacher is able to manage the learning process with a very high category; (2) The students become more active in the learning process, it seemed that all the categories on the activity of learners are met; (3) Activities teachers in all categories are met; (4) The test results of all students study had an average score of 81.47 out of 100 with learners who pass the study 22 people or 88%; (5) In general, learners are motivated after attending a lesson in both categories; (6) The students responded positively to LKPD used.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 2 Soppeng. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran dan gaya belajar peserta didik, serta variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pokok asam basa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 2 Soppeng yang berjumlah 7  kelas, sampel penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling yaitu terdiri atas 2 kelas yaitu Kelas XI MIPA 1 (Kelas A) dan XI MIPA 4 (Kelas B).  Desain penelitian adalah Faktorial. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan tes hasil belajar pada materi asam basa berupa post-test yang terdiri dari 30 butir soal pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan uji F (ANOVA) menghasilkan nilai signifikan lebih besar daripada nilai α (α=0,05) . Hasil uji hipotesis dengan Uji F membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar, terdapat pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar dan terdapat pengaruh interaksi model pembelajaran dan gaya belajar berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 2 Soppeng studi pada materi asam basa. Kata kunci: model pembelajran, gaya belajar, hasil belajar.  ABSTRACTThis study was a quasi-experimental research, which aimed determining the influence of instructional models and learning style learning outcomes of grade XI MIPA student at SMAN 2 in Soppeng. The independent variables in the study were instructional model and students’ learning style; whereas, the dependent variable was learning outcomes on acis base material. The study population was a students at grade XI MIPA student at SMAN 2 in Soppeng  which consists of 7 classes, and the sample was selected by employing random sampling technique and obtained two classes, namely  class XI MIPA 1 as an Class A and XI MIPA 4 as Class B with random sampling technique. Data were obtained by providing students achievement test acid base subject matter in the form of post-test which consists of 30 items multiple choice. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Hypothesis testing is done by F test (ANOVA). F-test results proved that learning model gave influence on students’ learning, learning style and interaction of instructional model and learning style on students’ learning outcomes of grade XI MIPA student at SMAN 2 in Soppeng studied on acid base. Keywords: Instructional model, learning style, learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study is research development, which aims at developing LKPD (worksheets) based on HOTS on periodic table of elements material which is valid, practical, and effective to be used in training higher-order thinking skills. The development model used in this study refers to 4-D development model, which consists of defining stage (define), designing stage (design), development stage (develop), and dissemination stage (disseminate). The devices developed are LKPD based on HOTS. LKPD based on HOTS which is developed is then validated by two experts. After being validated, the devices are tested at SMAN 2 Enrekang in grade X MIPA 6 with 34 students. The results of the study reveal that the resulting LKPD is valid with mean score of validation is 3.73 which is in very valid category. The practical and effective criterion are also met, the practicality test includes, (1) the implementation of LKPD based on HOTS is in the mean M = 1.79 in category (1.5 ≤ M ≤ 2.0) meaning that the aspect and criteria being observed is in entirely implemented category, (2) the students gave positive response with 47.06% which is very positive, 51.52% gave positive response, and (3) the teacher gave very positive response with the mean score of 3.42 which is practical and no revision. The LKPD based on HOTS has met effective criteria with the following results (1) the students’ learning activity is in the average of 93 which is very active category, (2) the students’ learning result has met effective criteria which obtained the mean score of 58 with the criteria of high level thinking skill level according to Lewy (51-75) which is in good category. Therefore, the conclusion is the product of LKPD based on HOTS developed is valid, practical, and effective.
