Abstract

This research is a development research that aims to develop and produce an acid- base e-module based on problem-based learning through google classroom at a vocational high school (SMK) which has valid, practical, and effective criteria. The development model used in the study refers to the 4D development model, which consists of the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. The acid-base e-module based on problem-based learning developed was validated by two experts. After being validated, the acid-base e-module based on problem-based learning was piloted on students at grade  X TKJ 1 at SMKN 5 Jeneponto of academic year 2020/2021 with 27 students. The results show that the acid-base e-module based on problem-based learning developed had conducted a validation process, measuring the level of practicality and effectiveness. The e-module is stated as valid based on the results of the e- module validation with an average value of 3.27 (valid). The e-module is stated as practical based on: (1) the implementation of the acid-base e-module based on problem-based learning at an average value of 1.9 (fully implemented), (2) the teacher's response with an average score of 97.12 (very practical), and (3) the students’ responses with an average score of 81.34 (very practical). E-module is stated as effective based on the results of the N-gain test of 0.76 (high) and classical completeness of 85.19%. Therefore, the results of the study indicate that the acid-base e-module based on problem-based learning has valid, practical, and effective qualities. An outline summary of the acid-base e-module based on problem-based learning through Google Classroom contains a glossary, basic competencies, competency achievement indicators, instructions for using e- modules, concept maps, learning activities 1, 2, and 3, evaluation and answer keys.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan laboratorium virtual dan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan laboratorium virtual berbasis multimedia interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran pada praktikum titrasi asam basa. Diharapkan produk yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan berbasis produk Hannafin dan Peck yang terdiri dari tiga fase yaitu fase analisis kebutuhan, fase desain, dan fase pengembangan/implementasi. Subjek uji coba produk pengembangan ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIA3 SMA Negeri 6 Takalar dengan jumlah siswa 28 orang. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk semua item dan aspek yang diukur, penilaian kevalidan media memperoleh kriteria valid, penilaian kepraktisan media berada pada kategori praktis dan keefektifan dengan N-gain = 0.785 dengan kategori tinggi. Dari hasil tersebut menujukkan media laboratorium virtual berbasis multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan memiliki kategori valid, praktis dan efektif, sehingga dapat disimpulkan media laboratorium virtual berbasis multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan layak dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran. Kata kunci  : Laboratorium Virtual, Multimedia Interaktif, Titrasi Asam-basa. ABSTRACTThis research aims to develop virtual laboratory in order to find its validity, practicality, and effectiveness of virtual laboratory interactive multimedia based in acids bases titration experiment. It is expected that the product developed can improve learning outcomes. This developing research uses a developing model based on Hannafin and Peck  product. It contains three phases which are need analysis phase, design phase, and developing or implementing phase. The subjects of this developing product are 28 students of SMA Negeri 6 Takalar class XI MIA3. In collecting the data, the researcher applies questionnaire using Likert Scale. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics analysis. The findings of this research show valid of all aspects and items that have been measured for its validity and pratical for its media practicality and effective with the pretest-posttest show gain = 0.785 high category. It is concluded that the developing of virtual laboratory interactive multimedia based in acids bases titration experiment proves as valid, practical, and effective which can be properly applied as the learning media. Keywords: Virtual Laboratory, Interactive Multimedia, Acids Bases Tiration

Abstract

This study is development research (research and development) which aims at examining (1) the development process of chemical bond learning devices using cooperative model of Jigsaw type to improve learning outcomes of senior high school students, (2) the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of development product of chemical bond learning devices using cooperative model of Jigsaw type to improve learning outcomes of senior high school students. The development model of learning devices  employed in this study was 4.D model which consisted of defining stage, design stage, development stage, and dissemination stage.The learning devices developed in this study were RPP, LKPD, BAPD, media, and THB. The chemical bond learning devices using cooperative model of Jigsaw type was validated by two experts. After being validated, the test of cooperative model of Jigsaw type was conducted at SMAN 7 Jeneponto in class X. MIA 1 with 35 students. The results of the study reveal that the learning devices of cooperative model of Jigsaw type which had been developed indicated that the average validity was 3,75 with very valid criteria. The learning devices of cooperative model of Jigsaw type was stated as practical because the practicality test which related to (1) the implementation of learning devices of cooperative model of Jigsaw type was in average value M = 1.9 in category (1.5 ≤ M ≥ 2.0) which means that the aspect and criteria being observed on the implementation of learning devices of cooperative model of Jigsaw type is in implemented entirely category, (2) the teacher gave very positive response on learning devices of cooperative model of Jigsaw type with 92.07 %, and (3) the students gave very positive response on learning devices based on cooperative model of Jigsaw type with 92.77 %. The learning devices is stated as effective because it has met effective criteria with the learning outcomes obtained the average of 81.91 %  and classical completeness 87.50 %, whereas, the improvement of learning outcomes based on N-gain test was 0,78 with high criteria. Therefore, the result of the study indicates that the product of learning devices which had been developed is valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang relevansi muatan profesional kurikulum pendidikan kimia di Jurusan Kimia FMIPA UNM dengan muatan kurikulum kimia berbasis K-13 di SMAN 17 Makassar dan SMAN 7 Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji muatan kurikulum kimia serta tingkat relevansi  kedua muatan kurikulum kimia tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengkaji muatan kurikulum pendidikan kimia di Perguruan Tinggi dengan muatan kurikulum kimia berbasis K-13 di SMA serta melakukan wawancara kepada civitas akademik Program Studi Pendidika Kimia FMIPA UNM, Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, dan para guru bidang studi kimia SMA. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat 20 mata kuliah kimia yang wajib diprogram oleh mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia dari semester I sampai semester VI serta terdapat 20 materi pokok  mulia dari kelas X sampai kelas XII pada muatan kurikulum Kimia SMA bebasis K-13. Persentase kesesuaian muatan profesional Kurikulum Pendidikan Kimia FMIPA UNM terhadap materi pokok Kimia SMA sebesar 95%, sementara persentase kesinambungan materi pokok Kimia SMA dengan mata kuliah sebesar 100%, Persentase muatan profesional Kurikulum Pendidikan Kimia di Perguruan Tinggi yang tidak masuk dalam muatan Kurikulum Kimia SMA berbasis K-13 adalah sebesar 5%, sehingga bisa disimpulkan bahwa kedua muatan kurikulum kimia tersebut memiliki tingkat kerelevanan dengan kategori sangat tinggi.Kata kunci: Analisis Relevansi, Muatan Kurikulum Kimia Berbasis K-13, Muatan Profesional  Kurikulum PSPK.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to discover the influence of learning model and learning motivation on concepts understanding and critical ability of students class XII at SMK Hasanuddin Aviation in Makassar on Colloidal System Subject. This research is quasi experiment research with 2x3 factorial design. The research populations were all the students in class XII at SMK Hasanuddin Aviation in Makassar. The sample was selected by employing random sampling with dependent variables and obtained class XII of Electrical Avionic learned by guided inqury model and class XII Airframe and Powerplant learned by using project based learning. The hypothesis test was conducted by using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of this research reveal that: (1) there is influence of guided inquiry model learning and PjbL on students’ concepts understanding; (2) there is influence of guided inquiry model learning and PjBL on critical thinking ability of students; (3) there is influence of high motivation, medium motivation, and low motivation learning on students’ concept understanding; (4) there is influence of high motivation, medium motivation, and low motivation learning on critical thinking ability os students; (5) there is no interaction between learning model and learning motivation on students’ concept understanding; (6) there is no interaction between learning model and learning motivation in influencing critical thinking ability of students.

Abstract

The study aims at discovering the correlation between performance and personality of Chemistry teacher towards students’ learning interest at SMAN 9 Makassar based on students’ opinions. The type of this study is ex-post facto. Sample collection technique employed purposive sampling. The sample of the study consisted of 118 students from class X, XI, and XII at SMAN 9 Makassar. Data collection employed a questionnaire with Likert scale with five alternative answers, which consisted of a positive statement with the scoring of 5,4,3,2,1 and a negative statement with the scoring of 1,2,3,4,5. Data analysis of the study employed statistics descriptive analysis and inferential analysis with correlation and regression techniques. The results of the study reveal that (1) there is a correlation between the performance of Chemistry teacher on students’ learning interest at SMAN 9 Makassar with low category, (2) there is a correlation between the personality of Chemistry teacher on students’ learning interest at SMAN 9 Makassar with low category, and (3) there is a correlation between the performance and personality of Chemistry teacher towards students’ learning interest at SMAN 9 Makassar with low category. Then the conclusion is, there is a correlation between performance and personality of chemistry teacher toward students learning interest at SMA 9 Makassar.

Abstract

This research is the development (research and development) which aims to: (1) obtain a picture of the development process of the type cooperative learning of Jigsaw valid, practical, and effective, (2) determine tinhgkat validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the cooperative learning of Jigsaw the material solution concept at SMK Negeri 3 Bantaeng. The subjects were students of class X SMK Nursing B 3 Bantaeng by the number of students 18 people in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. Model development of learning tools used are 4-D models of Thiagarajan, Semmel & Semmel. The result of the development of learning tools in the form of draft RPP, Books Students (BPD) and Worksheet Students (LKPD) that can be used by teachers and students in the learning process material solution concept. The level of success in field trials demonstrated by tests of learning outcomes that achieve mastery of 100%, a positive response from the students reached 93.70% for books learners, 92.38% and 85.24% for LKPD for the learning and the learning process and keterlaksanaan learning tools are at very high criteria. based on the criteria used to assess the resulting learning device that validity, effectiveness and practicality, the learning tools developed meet the quality is good.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal asam basa kelas XI IPA di SMA/MA di Kec. Bulukumpa dan mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal asam basa kelas XI IPA di SMA/MA di Kec. Bulukumpa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mendekripsikan keterampilan kritis dan kreatif siswa dalam mengerjakan soal kimia SMA/MA khususnya asam basa. Metode pengumpulan data melalui pengambilan data dengan cara melakukan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis di SMA/MA di Kec. Bulukumpa memiliki kategori yang tergolong rendah, persentase indikator yang memiliki nilai yang lebih baik yaitu pada indikator memberikan klarifikasi dasar dan paling rendah yaitu mengatur strategi dan taktik serta keterampilan berpikir kreatif di SMA/MA di Kec. Bulukumpa memiliki kategori yang tergolong rendah juga walupun kategori dari tiap indikator memiliki nilai yang berber-beda pula namun masih dalam kategori rendah.  persentase indikator yang memiliki nilai yang lebih baik yaitu pada indikator kelancaran dan keluwesan serta yang paling rendah yaitu keaslian Kata kunci  : keterampilan berpikir kritis, Keterampilan berpikir kritis, asam basa   ABSTRACTThis aim of the study is to find out the critical thinking skills of students in acid-base class XI IPA in the SMA / MA in Kec. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that describes students' critical and creative skills in working on the chemistry problems of SMA / MA especially acid-base. Methods of collecting data through data collection by conducting tests of critical and creative thinking skills and interviews. The results of this study indicate that critical thinking skills in SMA / MA in Kec. Bulukumpa has a relatively low category, the percentage of indicators that have a better value is that the indicator provides the basic and clarification, but lowest in strategies and tactics. Creative thinking skills in the SMA / MA in Kec. Abstract

The use of appropriate techniques will determine the success of achieving student competencies in learning. Learning techniques that tend to be monotonous make students less actively involved in learning and less training students’ critical thinking skills. Development of chemistry quiz technique based on HOTS in TGT Model is expected to be implemented effectively in class and assist students in learning chemistry. This development research aims at discovering: (1) the description of the development of chemistry quiz technique based on HOTS in TGT Model; and (2) the extent of the quality of chemistry quiz technique based on HOTS in TGT Model to enhance learning motivation and critical thinking skills of students on Atomic Structure material. The study consists of several stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product developed was test to 35 students of grade X MIA 4 at SMAN 3 Bone of Academic Year 2019/2020. The validity of the product was test by two assessors. This study employed the stages of TGT model, namely class presentation, group work, games, tournament, and appreciation. The stages of chemistry quiz was started from association activity and presented in a form of a quiz or question which used HOTS questions along with the games to motivate the students in learning and think critically. The results of the study reveal that: (1) the mean score of product validity is 3.71 (very valid); (2) the data of learning motivation questionnaire X ̅ = 3.31 (high); (3) the mean score of N-Gain of KBK is 0.79 (high); (4) The teacher and students indicated a very positive response with the percentage of 96.88% and 87.11%. Therefore, the conclusion is the chemistry quiz technique based on HOTS in TGT Model developed in chemistry learning on Atomic Structure material is valid, practical, and effective to enhance learning motivation and critical thinking skills of students.

Abstract

This study is a development research that aims to develop learning devices on acid-base material in discovery learning model to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes that are valid, practical, and effective. The development model used in this research was the 4D development model from Thiagarajan. The learning devices that had been developed had gone through the validation phase by the validator/expert and had gone through the trial phase, resulting in learning devices that are valid, practical, and effective. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the process of developing learning devices using a 4-D model included 4 stages, namely: (a) the definition stage (define), (b) the design stage, (c) the development stage (develop), and (d) the dissemination stage, (2) the learning devices are stated to have met the validity criteria including RPP, LKPD, and THB, each of which is in very valid category.The learning devices are stated to be practical because the practicality test relates to: (a) the implementation of the device in discovery learning model has the average value M = 1.94 in the interval 1.5≤M≤2.0 with fully implemented category; (b) the teachers’ responsesare positive with a percentage of 91.75% with very practical criteria; and (c) the students' responses are very positive with a percentage of 87.65% with very practical criteria. The learning devicesare stated to be effective because it had met effective criteria with the results: (a) there are differences in the average learning motivation of students before and after the trial; (b) the learning outcomes meet the effective criteria with a class completeness percentage of 82%.
