Abstract

This research is a study development that aims to develop an animated video-based learning media with guided inquiry learning models to increase students’ motivation and learning outcomes on chemical equilibrium materials that are valid, practical, and effective. The development model used in this study refers to the 4D development model, which consists of the defining stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. The results of this study indicate that 1) the assessment of media validity by the media and material experts is in very valid category, 2) the responses of students and teachers to the learning media developed also received very high categories so that the media is stated as  practical, 3) The learning motivation of the class that uses animation media (MA) is also higher than the class that doesn’t use animation media (TMA) with a value of 81.33 and 71.41. In the field test phase to 33 students of the class MA and 32 of the class TMA students of SMAN 11 Makassar obtained class completeness by 84.8% and 75% respectively. Based on Mann Whitney-U test obtained the significance of the p value is smaller than α (0.014 < 0.05), which means there are differences between the two groups significantly. The animated video-based learning media that had been developed with 4D model is valid, practical, and effective to be applied in learning.

Abstract

This study included quasi-experimental research with the research design to be used, namely Pretest-Post Control-Group Design, which aims to determine the effect of inquiry learning models internalized Qur'anic verse verses on Islamic character and understanding the participants' chemical concepts students of class XI MIA MAN 2 Barru. The research subjects were the XI MIA 2 class as an experimental class which was taught by the model of internalized inquiry of the verses of the Qur'an and the XI MIA 1 class as a control class that was taught by the inquiry model without internalizing the verses of the Qur'an. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that; 1) The average value of the Islamic character of the experimental class aspects of gratitude, honesty, courtesy, and humility in the experimental class does not have very few criteria while in the control class has less and less criteria, 2) Percentage of understanding the concept of reaction rate in the class being taught with the inquiry model internalized the verses of the Qur'an is 78 in the good category while for the class taught by the inquiry model without internalizing the verses of the Qur'an the reaction rate is 69 in the sufficient category, 3) The test results The hypothesis for Islamic characters α = 0.05 obtained a value of tcount 6.067 > ttable 2.003 and significance (0.000 < 0.05) indicating that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, while testing the hypothesis for understanding the concept with t-test at a significant level, α = 0.05 obtained the value of tcount 2.117 > ttable 2.003 and significance (0.034 < 0.05), indicating H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the use of inquiry learning models internalized by the verses of Al'qur'an influences Islamic character and understanding of students' concepts.

Abstract

The research aims to discovering the description of understanding concept critical thinking skills of students, the difference of understanding concept critical thinking skills of student, and the correlation between understanding concept and critical thinking skills of students who were taught using discovery learning model and direct instruction on reaction rate material in grade XI MIA at SMAN 8 Takalar. The study was conducted at SMAN 8 Takalar with two classes as research subjects, class XI MIA 1 taught by using discovery learning model and class XI MIA 2 taught by using direct instruction on reaction with 25 students each. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results of the study reveal that 1) the understanding concept on class taught by using discovery learning model was in good category; whereas class taught by using direct instruction model was in moderate category; 2) the critical thinking skills of both classes were in critical categories. Therefore, the conclusions of the study are (i) the understanding concept of students who were taught by using discovery learning model had gain average higher than the ones using direct instruction model, (ii) the critical thinking skill of student who were taught using discovery learning model had gain average higher than the ones taught using direct instruction learning model, (iii) there was correlation between understanding concept and critical thinking skill of students taught by using discovery learning model and direct instruction learning model.

Abstract

Abstrak Kopi liberika tersebar luas di Sulawesi Selatan, khususnya di Bantaeng. Namun, penanganan kopi yang tidak tepat dapat mempengaruhi kualitas kopi dan rasa yang dihasilkan. Salah satu proses terpenting dalam meningkatkan kualitas kopi dan menciptakan cita rasa yang nikmat adalah proses penyangraian dan penggunaan suhu serta waktu penyangraian harus diperhatikan. Tujuan dari riset ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh suhu dan waktu sangrai terhadap sifat fisikokimia dan mutu sensori kopi liberika. Riset ini mempergunakan eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial dipergunakan dipergunakan dengan perlakuan variasi suhu sangrai 180, 200, dan 220˚C, dengan waktu 10, 12, dan 14 menit. Sejumlah variabel penelitian ini diantaranya kopi hedonik Liberica, gula total, kadar abu, kadar kafein, pH, kadar air dan rendemen. Data yang didapat lalu dianalisa dengan sidik ragam dan uji lanjut DMRT (Duncan Multiple Rate). Penelitian menghasilkan perlakuan variasi suhu dan waktu penyangraian mempengaruhi rendemen, kadar air, pH, kadar kafein, kadar abu, total gula, warna, aroma, dan rasa kopi liberika. Tapi suhu penyangraian tidak berpengaruh pada kadar abu kopi bubuk liberika. Suhu pemanggangan 220°C selama 14 menit adalah perlakuan yang dinilai paling baik dalam menghasilkan sifat fisikokimia dan hedonik kopi liberika, yaitu dengan rendemen 83.3%, kadar air 2.10%, pH 5.61, kadar kafein 0.83%, kadar abu 4.40%, total gula 4.63%, rasa 4.01 (suka), aroma 4.28 (suka), dan warna 4.34 (suka)

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan madu selama fermentasi terhadap kadar kafein dan kandungan mutu kimia biji kopi arabika yang dihasilkan. Penelitian dilakukan dalam bentuk percobaan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan penambahan konsentrasi perlakuan berdasarkan berat keseluruhan kopi : air (1:1) yaitu kontrol, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10%, 12% dan 14%. Pengamatan dilakukan saat fermentasi yaitu ALT, TAT dan nilai pH serta kadar air dan kadar kafein biji kopi. Perlakuan dengan penambahan madu yang memiliki kadar kafein terendah akan dilakukan analisis mutu pada biji kopi seperti kadar abu, kadar protein, total asam tertitrasi, nilai pH, aktivitas antioksidan, polifenol, total gula dan gula reduksi. Data analisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan konsentrasi madu berpengaruh terhadap kadar kafein dan kadar air biji kopi Arabia. Perlakuan terbaik yaitu penambahan konsentrasi madu 14% dengan nilai kadar kafein 2,26%, TAT 0,39%, nilai pH 3,96%, kadar air 9,63%, kadar abu 3,50%, kadar protein 0,48%, aktivitas antioksidan 18,47%, polifenol 82,19%, total gula 4,13% dan gula reduksi 1,56%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze quality and risk management related to product defects in dry cakes produced by Bakers King. The research was conducted through a three-month survey (February–April 2022), covering a total production of 10,646 units, with 564 defective products identified. The three main types of defects were overflow (54.4%), burnt (23%), and crumbled (22.5%). Analytical methods used in this study included a P-chart for statistical quality control, a fishbone diagram to identify root causes, and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to evaluate potential risks in the production process. The FMEA results indicated that the highest risks stemmed from inconsistent recipe use (RPN 240) and data recording errors (RPN 224). Proposed mitigation strategies included regular staff training, digitalization of data recording, implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regular equipment maintenance. Meanwhile, risk transfer strategies were carried out through quality contracts with suppliers and product insurance. This study recommends a comprehensive improvement in quality management systems to reduce product defects and enhance customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Pada penerapannya, Modul ajar kurikulum Merdeka belum dapat dimengerti dengan baik oleh guru-guru sehingga modul ajar belum mampu disusun dengan baik. Pada pengabdian pada Masyarakat, kami melakukan pelatihan atau workshop pembuatan modul ajar kurikulum merdeka belajar pada SMP Negeri 2 Majene. Pada sekolah ini telah diterapkan kurikulum Merdeka belajar namun guru belum mampu Menyusun modul ajar dengan baik, khususnya Modul Ajar P5. Upaya yang dilakukan memberikan bimbingan kepada guru SMP Negeri 2 Majene untuk mampu menyususn modul ajar P5 berbasis Kewirausahaan, dengan Melakukan workshop/pelatihan Penyususnan Modul ajar P5 berbasis Kewirausahaan pada guru SMP Negeri 2 Majene. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan: Persiapan terdiri dari dua bagian yaitu persiapan di Kampus menyangkut materi pelatihan (pembuatan modul pelatihan), persiapan alat dan bahan yang digunakan dan persiapan pelaksanaan pelatihan dilokasi. Pelatihan penyusunan modul ajar Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar pada Sekolah SMP Negeri 2 Majene dihadiri oleh guru-guru IPA yang ada di kota Majene. Modul ajar berbasis kewirausahaan sangat penting dan diperlukan oleh guru-guru dalam penerapan P5 khususnya dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya alam lokal seperti kelapa dan ikan. Pelatihan ini sangat diminati oleh peserta workshop karena pembuatan produk P5 langsung didemonstrasikan pada saat workshop seperti pembuatan minyak murni atau VCO.

Abstract

This study is a development research that aims to develop buffer solution animation media in a problem-based learning model based on learning motivation and learning outcomes that are valid, practical, and effective to be used. The development model used in this study consisted of the needs analysis stage, the design stage, the development and implementation stages. The buffer solution animation media that had been developed had gone through the validation stage by the assessors and had gone through the trial stage to produce a valid, practical, and effective learning media. The results of the study show that the buffer solution animation media developed has: (1) expert validation of media 4.00 with very valid criteria, and (2) validation of material expert 3.23 with valid criteria. The buffer solution animation media is stated to be practical and effective because the practicality test related to (1) its implementation in problem-based learning model is at an average value of M = 1.87 in the category (1.5 ≤ M ≤ 2.0), which means that the aspects and criteria observed are in fully implemented category, (2) the teacher's response is very positive with a percentage of 87.50% with very practical criteria, and (3) positive response of students with 80.03% with very practical criteria. The buffer solution animation media also meets the effective criteria with the results: (1) the students' learning motivation has increased from 69.48% to 77.83% which is in high category, (2) the students' learning activities meet the criteria for being very active with an average of 89.28%, and  (3) the learning outcomes meet the criteria for classical completeness (≥85%) with an average percentage of 86%.
