Abstract

The objective of this research was to study the effect of Oodev as know as PMSGad gonad rematurity in infertile broodstock of P. hypophthalmus by Oodev Hormoneinjection. The treatments consisted of control 0 ml Oodev/kg fish weight (D), 0,3 mlOodev/kg fish weight (A). 0,5 ml Oodev/kg fish weight (B) and 0,ml Oodev/kg fishweight (C). with four replications of each. Fish weight at the beginning of experiment was 5 to 7 kg/individual. The result showed that Oodev had positive effect on eggmaturation. This was shown by the value of average of eggs diameter. The maximumsize of egg diameter for fish with hormone injection were larger than without injection. The best treatment was 0,5 ml Oodev/kg fish weight(B) and the largest than those of group C and A. It was concluded that injection of Oodev (PMSGad) is effective in promoting gonad maturation and oocyte development in the catfish.

Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze the ability of perupuk (Phragmites karka Trin) inreducing the element of rubber industrial liquid waste polluters on the scale of the laboratory. The method used was the method of survey. The data from laboratory test were tabulated and analyzed descriptively and the level of efficiency was calculated. Referring to South Kalimantan Governor Regulation Number 36 in 2008, the results showed that, TSS parameters started to be effectively reduced on day 10 (T 1) withclose to 84,33 mg/l (32.53%), BOD5 started to be effectively reduced on day 20 (T 2) with close to 24.00 mg/l (99,29%), and COD started to be effectively reduced on day 20 (T2) with close to 44,65 mg/l (98,90%) due to the levels were already below the value of the Quality Standard Liquid Waste (QSLW). Generally, time retention was best accomplished on day 30 (T3) in reducing liquid waste rubber industry.

Abstract

Kintap coastal area is one of the areas that developed as a coastal fishery production. Area-based coastal fisheries as Kintap Muara district is consisting of the main activities of fishing activity in the form of Fish Landing Base (PPI) with a variety of amenities. Coastal areas in the village of Muara Kintap pattern fisheries are people who are known to pattern middlemen (Indonesian : penyambang) and developed since 2003. Study was conducted to see how the existence determines penyambang ships for fishing communities and the fishing estuary fishing port Kintap with : identifying the impact of fishing communities penyambang vessel catch and fishing port Muara Kintap; analyze business profits as penyambang ship; formulate strategy development as a fishing port economic zone fisheries. Technique uses qualitative and quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The existence of the ship penyambang was a positive impact on fishermen catch. Fishermen catch will work more effectively and provide capital as a form of business development, while for the Port of Muara Kintap, penyambang ship has negatif impact on the port becauses penyambang ship can not be loading and unloading in theport. So that data from the catches of fishermen willnot be sould to penyambang as data the basis for determining the policy is difficult to know and retribution for PAD port no. Average profit businesses penyambang vessel during fishing season is Rp.2.773.611,00 per month while the crew (ABK) get Rp.1.386.806, 00 per month and crew still above the local minimum wage (UMR) South Kalimantan Province of Rp.1.337.500.00.Fishing harbor in the village of Muara Kintap, Tanah Laut District as district fisheries economy still needs a better development strategy so that the presence of the ship penyambang can contribute to Improved Income (PAD) Kintap Estuary Fishery Port.

Abstract

Muara Kintap village in Kintap District Kabupaten Tanah Laut is a centralarea of salted dried mackerel processing and becoming famous in South Kalimantan. The salted dried mackerel fish produced in Muara Kintap village is better quality compared with the mackerel fish produced in another villages distributed in South Kalimantan. The mackerel fish is directly handled by salted anddried on vessel after caught on sea. This purposes from research are to know benefit, feasibility, sensitivity fluctuation price, variation price, and marketing chanell frombusiness analysis of salted dried mackerel while research method used is census.Salted dried mackerel fish processing is becoming an advantagous business in the Muara Kintap village becaused total revenue is greater than total cost, and wellabove the BEP during and in out of the fishing seasons. Based on the analysis of thefeasibility of the NPV at 13% = 82.088.266 Net BCR 13% = 1,148, and IRR =15,3%, the salted dried mackerel fish processing business is worth to the effort.Likewise when not in season the NPV 13% = 132.237.410, Net BCR 13% =1,277, and IRR = 16,7%. It can be said that the salted dried mackerel fish business is more feasible in out of the season. The results of sensitivity analysis with an increase of 25% diesel and 50% salt for processing is sensitive to the time of the season while at no season is not sensitive to the increase in input prices. The average saleprice fluctuation of salted dried mackerel fish in the village Muara Kintap between atthe season and when out of the season of 48,09%, and variation price the season Rp42.000,00 – Rp 48.000,00 while at no season Rp 64.000,00 – Rp 68.000,00. There are two marketing channels of salted dried mackerel fish in the Muara Kintap inclouding:- Fishermen Collecting - Fishermen-Collecting-Consumen

Abstract

This study was to examine the process of desalination of coastal waters in South Kalimantan resulting in decreased quality of coastal habitat. Data input for research included time-series primary data of salinity values, derived from observation stations have been set. This research is based on grounded research methods to get the facts and comparison analysis through field observation and relevant data sources, including primary and secondary data, both qualitative and quantitative, as well as the approach to landscape approach using remote sensing data. The results showed that the phenomenon of coastal water desalination give effect to the fragility of coastal communities, especially mangroves, thus impacting derivatives of more vulnerability to degradation processes that occur on the coast of South Kalimantan. The research results can used as the basic of integrated coastal zone management.
