Abstract

This study aims to: 1). Analyzing the marketing channels of the Snakehead fish (Channa striata) catch in Central Muning Village. 2). Analyzing the potential margins of the Snakehead Fish (Channa striata) business in Central Muning Village. 3). Analyzing the part (share) price received by catching Snakehead in Central Muning Village. 4). Analyzing the feasibility of Snakehead fishing in Central Muning Village and the business feasibility of the marketing actors. The method of data collection is done by observation and interviews. The sample in this study was determined by purposive sampling method. Sampling is done by two methods: Census Sampling and Snowball Sampling. This research was conducted in the Central Muning Village, Daha Selatan Sub-district, Hulu Sungai Selatan District. The results of this study indicate that the Snakehead fish marketing system in Central Muning Village from the producer level to the final consumer level generally has 2 marketing channel patterns. Snakehead fish marketing margin in Central Muning Village in the marketing pattern I was Rp. 4000, - while the marketing margin in the marketing pattern II for collecting traders is Rp. 2000, - and for retailers Rp. 3000, -. The share value received by fishermen caught is 90%. Looking from the business feasibility analysis carried out, the business of catching Snakehead Fish in the village of Central Muning is feasible to continue.

Abstract

The  goals if this research are :  1)   Knowing the potencial of the fish catching source include the kind of fish, tha medium and the infractructure, the capital source, the oca public role, and the properness of  the fish fish catching business.  2)  Knowing the potentials of the fishery source include the kind of fish which are cultured, the medium and the infrastructure of the fish culture, the capital source, the fish culture technique, and the properness of this fish culture.  3)   knowing the potentials of the fish processing source, the kind of processing, the medium and infrastructure, the capital source, the technique of processing, and the properness of the fish processing business .  4)  knowing the village economy institute, the marketing channel.  5)  Analizing the fishery source management in Rawa Bangkau.  The method used in research are the descriptive and the purposhing method, while the responden determination is done by the random sampling.  The  people approach is done by using   the snowball method.   The demography parameter, the social culture and the idenfication of the various fish culture source will be analized descriptively .  The  Investment criterion by using Net Present Value (NPV), the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and the Benfit Cost Ratio (BCR)  approach are used to know the properness of the fishery business.  The analysis method used for the marketing system is the sample linier regression,  while the S-C-P analysis is use to analyze the market structure, the market conduct and the market performance include the price share and the marketing margin,  the marketing channel is analyzed by using the descriptive analysis.  Keyword : Danau Bangkau, participatory Rural Appraisal fied study, Invesment Criterion, S-C-P analysis. The results of this research are : 1)  the fish catching business in Rawa Bangkau is potential enough the production 3.428,4 tons in 2011.   This business is poper to be develoved because the NVP 10 % > 0, the Gross BCR > 1, and the IRR > the intersest rate in the bank.  2)  the fish cuture develoved in Rawa Bangkau are the well-fish culture and the cges-fish cuture.  Both of them are prper to be develoved financially based on the NVP, the Net BCR, and the IRR.  3)  The fish processing business done by the people in Rawa Bangkau is the makin of dried-salty fish.  The kinds of fish processed are sepat rawa, sepat siam, gabus, betok,  and biawan.  This business is Gros BCR, and the IRR.  4)  The marketing of the fish processing product is still decided by the collector, while the fish catcheris only as the price receiver.  Based on the conduct structure and the market performance, it tends to be imferpect competition market (oligopsony/oligopoly).  The marketing margin and the highest profit are gained by haruan product because the price and the demand of this fish are higher than other fish.  The price share of the fish catcher is good enough, so that the catching business can be continued because there is the fish devesifikation to increase the family income.  5)  The fishery management develoved in Rawa Bangkau is based on the local policy they have in order not to destry the fihesry source and its environment.  The local policies are the prohibition of using the fishing gear that destroy the fishing source and the prohibition of catching the fish redundantly.

Abstract

Flat fish processing business amplang household in the city of Palangka Raya for future business development very well with the support of continuous availability of raw materials and capital flat fish are disbursed by the government in cash, business equipment and training for entrepreneurs to be able to continuedeveloped.The research was conducted in the City of Palangka Raya CentralKalimantan Province. The data used were primary and secondary data. The method used in processing and analyzing data in this study was purposive sampling. Amplang flat fish processing business households profit of Rp. 12,169 million, - peryear. From the field indicate the fact that this business remains favorable withsurvival in a long time.Based on the value of financial analysis using the criteria of investment NetBenefit Cost Ratio (BCR Net) 5% = 3.032073039 and Net B / C ratio of 13.5% =1.526361382 is greater than 1 means that the business is feasible to proceed.Especially for flat fish processing business amplang (Notopterus chilata) house hold in the city of Palangka Raya Central Kalimantan Province amplang demand for fish products by offering the same flat or D = S; means ampalng fish production to meet market flat.

Abstract

Kintap coastal area is one of the areas that developed as a coastal fishery production. Area-based coastal fisheries as Kintap Muara district is consisting of the main activities of fishing activity in the form of Fish Landing Base (PPI) with a variety of amenities. Coastal areas in the village of Muara Kintap pattern fisheries are people who are known to pattern middlemen (Indonesian : penyambang) and developed since 2003. Study was conducted to see how the existence determines penyambang ships for fishing communities and the fishing estuary fishing port Kintap with : identifying the impact of fishing communities penyambang vessel catch and fishing port Muara Kintap; analyze business profits as penyambang ship; formulate strategy development as a fishing port economic zone fisheries. Technique uses qualitative and quantitative methods with a descriptive approach.The existence of the ship penyambang was a positive impact on fishermen catch. Fishermen catch will work more effectively and provide capital as a form of business development, while for the Port of Muara Kintap, penyambang ship has negatif impact on the port becauses penyambang ship can not be loading and unloading in theport. So that data from the catches of fishermen willnot be sould to penyambang as data the basis for determining the policy is difficult to know and retribution for PAD port no. Average profit businesses penyambang vessel during fishing season is Rp.2.773.611,00 per month while the crew (ABK) get Rp.1.386.806, 00 per month and crew still above the local minimum wage (UMR) South Kalimantan Province of Rp.1.337.500.00.Fishing harbor in the village of Muara Kintap, Tanah Laut District as district fisheries economy still needs a better development strategy so that the presence of the ship penyambang can contribute to Improved Income (PAD) Kintap Estuary Fishery Port.

Abstract

The hatcheries operations of goldfish (Cyprinus carpio L) in Community Hatchery Unit at Mentaos Village in North Banjarbaru, Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan Province have pretty good opportunity for its development since the comsumption of goldfish (Cyprinus carpio L) is increasing each year. The continous availability of goldfish (Cyprinus carpio L ) seeds and the fish farmer’s experience have developed a lot as well as support from local government by providing capital for sustainable development of goldfish (Cyprinus carpio L.)The research was done in Mentaos Village, North Banjarbaru District in Banjarbaru City of South Kalimantan Province. Primary and secondary data were gathered. The research conducted in order to analyse the prospect of goldfish seeding process in Community Hachery Unit (UPR) which include : (1) the profit, (2) BreakEven Point (BEP) analysis, (3) the feasibility of the business namely (R/C Ratio) and Payback Period (PP), (4) the analysis of market prospect and (5) marketing channels.The research show the profit achieved in the seeding gold fish (Cyprinus carpio, L) business in Mentaos Village is by average Rp.13.754.922,00/year, Break Even Point(BEP) by minimum selling price is Rp.86,94 per head and producing by minimum of 200.701 head year. Based on the feasibility of the business it is found that R/C Ratio of the fish hatchery operations in a single season production is 2,17(R/C>1), mean while Payback Period (PP) is 0,244 year or 2 month 29 days, the demand of goldfish (Cyprinuscarpio L) is bigger than the supply (D>S), it means the production still cannot fulfil the market demand and the marketing channels which allows the fish farmers to sell their product directly to the last consumer which become the most efficiency way.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis keuntungan dan menganalisis prospek pemasaran teripang. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Muara Kintap Kecamatan Kintap Kabupaten Tanah Laut Provisi Kalimantan Selatan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode survey dan metode wawancara, penentuan lokasi penelitian dipilih secara purposive atau sengaja. Pengambilan data pada responden dilakukan secara sensus yang artinya keseluruhan sampel responden diambil datanya. Keseluruhan nelayan yang dijadikan responden yaitu sebanyak 10 orang nelayan pemilik kapal usaha penangkapan teripang, dimana setiap nelayan pemilik kapal ini memiliki anak buah kapal (abk) sebanyak 9 hingga 12 orang. Teripang yang dijual sudah dalam bentuk setengah jadi karena sudah dilakukan dua kali proses pemasakan, teripang ini biasanya dijual kepulau Jawa dan Bangka Belitung sebelum akhirnya di ekspor kebeberapa Negara seperti Cina, Vietnam, dan Jepang. Analisis yang di gunakan pada penelitian ini terbagi menjadi 2 yaitu analisis keuntungan dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa nilai π tertinggi berjumlah Rp. 329.705.000,00/tahun nilai π terendah yaitu Rp. 54.188.000,00/tahun dan rata-rata nilai π Rp. 228.224.800,00/ tahun. Untuk mengetahui prospek usaha teripang digunakan analisis SWOT yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kekuatan, kelemahan, ancaman dan peluang yang terdapat pada usaha penangkapan teripang berdasarkan analisis SWOT diketahui bahwa usaha penangkapan teripang masih lemah namun memiliki peluang yang tinggi untuk dikembangkan hal ini dapat diketahui dari tingginya resiko usaha yang tinggi yaitu berupa resiko keselamatan kerja namun masih memiliki peluang karena teripang sendiri merupakan komoditi ekspor dimana permintaan teripang tergolong tinggi. Saluran pemasaran teripang merupakan saluran pemasaran tidak langsung, saluran pemasaran teripang yaitu : produsen/nelayan teripang, pengumpul, pabrik pengemasan teripang, ekspor, pedagang, konsumen

Abstract

Ikan Belut (Monopterus albus) secara maksimal dirubah bentuknya sehingga disukai menjadi bentuk olahan nugget. Nugget merupakan makanan siap saji yang sudah merakyat dan berupa olahan berbahan baku daging dan dilapisi dengan tepung dalam bentuk potongan-potongan kecil berwarna kuning keemasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan ikan belut menjadi bahan olahan, secara maksimal merubah bentuk tubuh belut yang kurang disukai menjadi olahan yang disukai, mendapatkan karakteristik nugget yang baik dan nilai kadar air sesuai SNI. Kesimpulan penelitian nugget belut berdasarkan keempat parameter dalam uji organoleptik dengan menggunakan 20 orang panelis tak terlatih yang menujukkan kualitas optimal adalah pada perlakuan B dengan penambahan tepung tapioka 10%, tepung terigu 10% dan kandungan kadar air, yaitu 48.32%. Eel (Monopterus albus) is maximally transformed so that it is preferred to be a processed nugget. Nugget is a fast food that is populist and consists of processed ingredients made from meat and contains flour in the form of small pieces of golden yellow. This study aims to utilize eels into processed materials, maximally change the body shape of the eels that are less preferred to processed high protein, get good nugget characteristics and water content values according to SNI. The conclusion of the study of eel nuggets based on the fourth parameter in the organoleptic test using 20 untrained panelists who showed optimal quality was in treatment B with the addition of 10% tapioca flour, 10% wheat flour and water content, which was 48.32%.

Abstract

Ikan sepat rawa merupakan salah satu bahan makanan yang memiliki sumber protein relatif murah dibandingkan dengan sumber protein lainnya. Sebagai salah satu pengawetan dari ikan sepat rawa, teknik penggaraman digunakan karena kebanyakan bakteria, fungi dan organisme patogenik lainnya tidak dapat bertahan hidup dalam sebuah lingkungan dengan kadar garam yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi garam yang berbeda terhadap prosil asam lemak ikan sepat rawa. Rancangan penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan penambahan konsentrasi garam yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh terhadap prosil asam lemak ikan sepat rawa. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi garam yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata terhadap profil asam lemak ikan sepat rawa. Jumlah kadar asam lemak tertinggi yaitu B dengan konsentrasi garam 10% sebesar 65,74 % dan untuk profil asam lemak terdapat 29 jenis dengan asam lemak terbanyak yaitu asam palmitat (asam lemak jenuh) sebesar 20,89 %, asam oleat (asam lemak tak jenuh tunggal) sebesar 17,86% dan asam linolenat (asam lemak tak jenuh jamak) sebesar 3,70%. Sepat rawa fish is a food that has a relatively cheap source of protein compared to other protein sources. As one of the preservation of three sepat rawa fish, the salting technique is used because most bacteria, fungi and other pathogenic organisms cannot survive in high salinity environments. This study aims to determine the effect of different salt concentrations on the fatty acid prosyl of three sepat rawa fish. The design of this research was experimental with the addition of different salt concentrations to affect the fatty acid prosyl of sepat rawa fish. The results showed that the difference in salt concentration had a significant effect on the fatty acid profile of three sepat rawa fish. The most fatty acid content is B with a salt concentration of 10% of 65.74% and for the fatty acid profile there are 29 types with the most fatty acids, namely palmitic acid (saturated fatty acid) of 20,89%, oleic acid (monounsaturated fat acids) by 17,86% and linolenic acid (poly unsaturated fatty acid) by 3,70%.

Abstract

Alang river Village, Karang Intan District is a village that has a lot of potential in the field of fisheries, especially in the floating net cage media with the commodity of Tilapia which is commonly used by the community, this fish cultivator business is a source of income in the village by utilizing the river that stretches around Alang river village. The problem that occurs in the Jasmine Fish Cultivator Group is the death of the fish which results in many losses and problems in access to fish marketing outside the South Kalimantan area. The purpose of this research was to analyze the feasibility of the business and to analyze the marketing of rearing tilapia in POKDAKAN Melati floating net cages in Sungai Alang village. The method this research is Primary, Secondary, Interview, Observation, Snowball Sampling, and Documentation Methods. The results of this research indicate that the business run by POKDAKAN Melati is feasible and profitable to be developed with profit the average per month is Rp. 5,309,863.2 within a repayment period of 0.46 years or 5 months 16 days, with a total NPV of 7% of Rp. 418,052,002, Net BCR 7% of 1.35% and IRR value of 136.74% Meanwhile, for the marketing channels, there are 2 marketing channels, namely semi-direct channels and indirect channels with the amount of Farmer Share analysis of 78% which can be said to be efficient. Desa Sungai Alang Kecamatan Karang Intan merupakan desa yang memiliki banyak pontensi dibidang perikanan khusus nya pada media Karamba Jaring Apung dengan komoditi Ikan Nila yang biasa digunakan masyarakat, usaha pembudidaya ikan ini merupakan sumber penghasilan yang ada di desa tersebut dengan memanfaatkan sungai yang membentang disekitaran desa sungai alang. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada Kelompok Pembudidaya Ikan Melati adalah kematian ikan yang mengakibatkan banyaknya kerugian yang dialami dan permasalahan akses pemasaran ikan untuk luar daerah Kalimantan Selatan. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisis kelayakan usaha dan menganalisis pemasaran pembesaran ikan nila pada POKDAKAN Melati Karamba Jaring Apung Desa Sungai Alang. Metode dalam penelitian ini ialah Primer, Sekunder, Wawancara, Observasi, Snowball Sampling, dan Dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha yang dijalankan POKDAKAN Melati layak dan menguntungkan untuk dikembangkan dengan hasil keuntungan rata-rata per bulan nya sebesar Rp. 5.309.863,2 dalam kurun waktu pengembalian 0,46 tahun atau 5 bulan 16 hari, dengan jumlah NPV 7% sebesar Rp. 418.052.002 , Net BCR 7% sebesar 1,35 % dan nilai IRR 136,74% sedangkan untuk salurannya pemasaran didapatkan 2 saluran pemasaran yaitu saluran semi langsung dan saluran tidak langsung dengan jumlah analisis Farmer Share 78% yang mana dapat dikatakan efisien.

Abstract

Ikan toman, Channa micropeltes adalah ikan asli Kalimantan yang menghuni sungai dan rawa. Ikan toman adalah ikan asli Asia dan banyak ditemukan di sungai, perairan tenang, rawa, sawah, dan danau. Ikan Toman berdaging putih, mudah dipisahkan dari kuli dan tulangnya, berdaging tebal, kandungan proteinnya tinggi, selalu tersedia dan harganya murah sehingga dapat diolah menjadi beragam i0ahan diantaranya adalah bakso. Bakso ikan toman yang tinggi kandungan proteinnya dicoba ditambahkan wortel yang kaya akanprovitamin A yang baik untuk Kesehatan mata. Hasil dari penelitian imenunjukkan penambahan wortel pada bakso ikan toman yang terbaik terhadap kualitas bakso ikan toman (Channa micropeltes) berdasarkan hasil uji organoleptik yaitu perlakuan B dengan penambahan wortel sebanyak 10%, hasil uji hedonik spesifikasi kenampakan diperoleh nilai 7.1 (suka), spesifikasi bau diperoleh nilai 6.7 (agak suka), pada spesifikasi rasa diperoleh nilai 7.15 (suka), spesifikasi tekstur diperoleh nilai 7.2 (suka) dan pada spesifikasi warna diperoleh nilai 7.45 (suka), maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa produk bakso ikan toman (Channa micropeltes) dengan penambahan wortel (Daucus carrota) dapat diterima oleh panelis Toman fish, Channa micropeltes is a fish native to Borneo that inhabits rivers and swamps. Toman fish is native to Asia and is widely found in rivers, calm waters, swamps, rice fields, and lakes. Toman fish is white-fleshed, easily separated from coolies and bones, thick fleshy, high protein content, always available and cheap so that it can be processed into a variety of meatballs. Toman fish meatballs that are high in protein content are tried to add carrots which are rich in provitamin A which is good for eye health. The results of the study showed that the addition of carrots to toman fish balls was the best for the quality of toman fish balls (Channa micropeltes) based on organoleptic test results, namely treatment B with the addition of carrots as much as 10%, The results of the hedonic test of the appearance specification obtained a value of 7.1 (like), the smell specification obtained a value of 6.7 (somewhat like), the taste specification obtained a value of 7.15 (like), the texture specification obtained a value of 7.2 (like) and the color specification obtained a value of 7.45 (like), it can be concluded that the toman fish meatball product (Channa micropeltes) with the addition of carrots (Daucus carrota) can be accepted by the panelists.Keywords: Toman Fish, Carrot, Meatballs, Protein Organoleptic
