The mission of the International Journal of Literature and Language Studies (IJLLS) is to provide readers with the development of language studies in linguistics and literature. In addition to manuscripts that center on the study, we welcome manuscripts on a wide range of topics relating to the technology used for language development, cultural impact on languages, computational linguistics, and philosophy of language. IJLLS publishes scholarly conceptual, theoretical, and empirical manuscripts on the study of language and focused on literature and linguistic analysis and development. Submissions to the journal should be readable and understandable by a wide audience. Manuscripts should therefore also focus on analysis or illustration of the issues covered, rather than merely providing a mathematical or technical coverage, which would be more suitable for a specialist journal. All manuscripts are submitted and reviewed electronically. We provide our published authors with both a quality publication and the widespread readership that comes from publishing all manuscripts online within a few weeks of acceptance. This approach ensures that published works are read and cited by the widest possible audience.

Abstract

rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has significantly transformed modern educational environments, particularly in the field of foreign language education. AI-powered educational systems, intelligent tutoring platforms, speech recognition technologies, and conversational chatbots are increasingly integrated into language teaching and learning processes worldwide. Korean language education in Uzbekistan is also experiencing the impact of these technological innovations due to the growing interest in Korean language and culture, educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea, and increasing demand for Korean language specialists.

Abstract

This study investigates the profound influence of culture on linguistic development by analyzing vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, and sociolinguistic norms. It posits that language is not merely a tool for communication but a reflection of a communitys shared values, historical experiences, and social hierarchies. Furthermore, the research examines the impact of rapid globalization and digital transformation on linguistic evolution, highlighting the tension between lexical innovation and the risk of language attrition. These findings underscore the necessity of cultural context in linguistic analysis and offer critical insights for enhancing intercultural competence in an interconnected world.

Abstract

the Arabic language possesses a highly intricate morphological system that encodes complex semantic nuances directly into the lexical architecture of its verbs. This article provides a comprehensive linguistic analysis of verbs expressing human behavior in Arabic, focusing on the intersection of morphology (ṣarf), lexical semantics (dalāla), and cognitive linguistics. By examining the derivational patterns (awzān) of the Arabic root-and-pattern system, specifically Forms II through X, this study demonstrates how intentionality, reciprocity, pretense, and psychological states are grammatically codified. Furthermore, the article explores the cognitive metaphors underlying behavioral lexicon, revealing how spatial and physical concepts map onto social and moral conduct. The findings illustrate that Arabic behavioral verbs do not merely describe actions but provide a microscopic view into the social pragmatics and psychological dimensions of the human actor.

Abstract

antonymy, or lexical opposition, constitutes a fundamental semantic relation in human language, structuring the lexicon and facilitating complex cognitive categorizations. In Arabic linguistics, this phenomenon traditionally termed al-Taḍādd presents unique morphological, semantic, and historical dimensions that distinguish it from its counterparts in Indo-European languages. A particularly striking feature of Arabic is the existence of al-Aḍdād (auto-antonyms or contronyms), lexical items that simultaneously encapsulate a meaning and its direct opposite. This article provides a comprehensive examination of antonymy in Arabic. It traces the historical development of the concept through classical Arabic philology, categorizes antonyms using modern structural semantics, explores the unique phenomenon of al-Aḍdād, and analyzes the rhetorical application of opposition (al-Ṭibāq and al-Muqābala) in classical texts, including the Quran. By bridging classical Arabic lexicography with modern semantic theory, this paper aims to elucidate the structural elegance and semantic depth of opposition in the Arabic lexicon.

Abstract

Vocal fold nodules (VFN) represent the primary organic cause of pediatric dysphonia, traditionally attributed to chronic mechanical phonotrauma. However, recent clinical evidence suggests that the pediatric larynx does not exist in isolation; its health is inextricably linked to the upper aerodigestive tract. This thesis explores the complex etiopathogenetic synergy between VFN and chronic pharyngeal diseases, such as chronic tonsillitis and pharyngitis. It posits that chronic pharyngeal inflammation serves as a "pro-inflammatory substrate" that lowers the threshold for mechanical injury, stabilizes the presence of nodules, and prevents spontaneous regression. By synthesizing statistical data, acoustic analysis, and histological markers, this work argues for a holistic diagnostic paradigm in pediatric laryngology.

Abstract

This article examines epistemic subjective modal expressions in radio interview discourse. The study focuses on the linguistic means by which speakers express their attitudes toward the truth, reliability, and probability of information. The theoretical section discusses the nature of epistemic modality, its relationship with subjectivity, and its pragmatic role in interview communication. The analytical section classifies examples selected from Russian, German, and English radio interviews into four semantic categories: probability, supposition, certainty, and doubt. The findings show that epistemic modal expressions help speakers soften claims, convey personal evaluation, indicate limited knowledge, strengthen credibility, and maintain a natural conversational tone.

Abstract

This article examines code-switching as a pedagogical resource in multilingual classrooms through a focused qualitative lens. Drawing on observed classroom interactions in multilingual secondary and tertiary language lessons, the study uses classroom discourse analysis with attention to interactional sequences, teacher moves, and learner uptake to identify how meaning, voice, and interpretation are shaped in literary and linguistic practice. The analysis shows that strategic code-switching reduced anxiety and increased participation, teacher-switches supported clarification without weakening target-language exposure, while the third finding highlights how textual structure or interactional pattern helps sustain the broader effect. The paper argues that close attention to language form remains essential for understanding how literary texts and communicative events produce emotion, identity, and social meaning. It also demonstrates that careful reading can connect stylistic detail with wider cultural and pedagogical questions.

Abstract

This article examines translation strategies and stylistic balance in literary prose through a focused qualitative lens. Drawing on multiple English renderings of short prose passages originally written in European languages, the study uses comparative textual analysis focusing on lexical density, register, rhythm, and cultural transfer to identify how meaning, voice, and interpretation are shaped in literary and linguistic practice. The analysis shows that literal transfer preserved semantic detail but often flattened rhythm and imagery, adaptive translation better maintained literary voice when cultural references required mediation, while the third finding highlights how textual structure or interactional pattern helps sustain the broader effect. The paper argues that close attention to language form remains essential for understanding how literary texts and communicative events produce emotion, identity, and social meaning. It also demonstrates that careful reading can connect stylistic detail with wider cultural and pedagogical questions.
