Abstract

This study aimed to determine the diversity of c-type lectin on the various groups of species based on data contained in National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). The method used is a bioinformatics study by analyzing the amino acid molecules lectin particular type of c-type lectin found in NCBI and analyze of sequence and scores of c-type lectin with Prosite analysis based. The results showed that the data of genbank seen as the varying length of the amino acid sequence types of c-type lectin of groups of species of fish 159-304 aa, bivalves 155-524 aa, plants 349-414 aa, fungi 593-981 aa, and bacteria 564-4379 aa. Prosite analysis results with the c-type lectin on some species have slightly varied score that O. niloticus 18.010, M. meretrik 18, 112, A. thaliana and P. marinus 15,104. Potential C-type lectin on some of these species need to be analyzed further to determine the extraction technique and its benefits in the field of maritime affairs and fisheries.

Abstract

Size of the shrimp trawl will be proportional to the size of the propulsion power engine, that is more great tools to catch going to need a big powered ships for more economical. The goal of research is to productivity shrimp trawl and correlation of respondence between size of the fishing gear with power engine of the vessel. Methods of practice that is descriptive (describing systematically fact observation/ research about the operation the shrimp trawl and about shrimp trawl fishing gear) and quantitatively (using calculations of productivity and calculate the suitability of gear with power engine). Productivity KM. Soerya 86 is 66,4 tonnes while the corresponding data in the field catches 20,9% higher. Based on the calculations for KM. Soerya 86, size of the shrimp trawl appropriate supposed to 41,10 m while the field observations used mesh size of 18 m. Weight otter board according supposed 271,25 kg but field observation using only weight 220 kg. Otter board spacious appropriate but should 3,06 m2 observations in the field widely otter board using 2,31 m2.

Abstract

The utilization of the resources of shrimp penaeid in the eastern part of the archipelagic waters Aru and surrounding sub-region III, to estimate the abundance of shrimp by using the swept area method. The aim of research to determine the composition of species caught by shrimp trawlers using a double rig, Comparative production of penaeid shrimp catch in 2014 and in 2012. Potential sustainable and penaeid shrimp with Swept area method. Results Composition Penaeid Shrimp Catch in archipelagic waters Aru and surrounding sub-region (III). There are 9 types of penaeid shrimp with the amount of catches of 17 988 kg and is the most dominant type of Green Tiger Prawn (Penaeus semisulcatus), while the lowest amount was kind Banana Prawn (Penaeus merguensis). The results of a comparative test with Chi Square (χ2) turns Ho rejected and Ha accepted, wherein χ2 count 7.40 is greater than χ2 tables 0.05 (3.84) and χ2 tables 0.01 (6.63), this means that there are differences in yield catches in 2012 And in 2014 was very significant. There is a decline in production is very significant from 2012 until 2014. The potential outcome in the waters of the sub region Aru Islands and surrounding waters -III which covers 13,000 km2, where willingness stock (B) 579.58 tons, sustainable potential (MSY) amounted to 576.58 tons / year while the Total Allowable Catch (TAC) amounted to 463.67 tons / year.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate the formation procces fishing ground in the fisheries light fishing. The method used in this research is survey method. The research object have been using the catch in purse seine and “bagan apung” units. Data analysis have been using descriptive quantitative analysis and trophic level analysis. The result showed that formulation of the formation fishing ground by light fishing are : (1) interaction physical between species by light fishing create the composition are Stolephorus sp, Euthynnus affinis, Sardinella gibbosa, Scomberoides commersonnianus, Caranx sexfasciatus, Carangoides praeustus, Sphyraena jello, Leptojulis cyanopleura, Parastromateus niger, Penaeus indicus, and Loligo sp; (2) the interaction biology between one species with other species create the composition are Katsuwonus pelamis, Sardinella lemuru, Selar crumenophthalmus, Selaroides leptolepis, Decapterus macrosoma, Rastrelliger kanagurta, Thunnus albacares and Coryphaena hippurus.
