Abstract

This article analyzes the dynamics of political economy in Indonesia’s development from a critical perspective on implemented economic policies. The study focuses on how economic decisions are shaped by the interplay of political interests, global economic pressures, and domestic priorities. Using a qualitative approach rooted in public policy analysis, this article explores several key issues, including the role of state and non-state actors in policymaking, the impact of neo-liberalism, and Indonesia's challenges in achieving inclusive and sustainable growth. The findings reveal that Indonesian economic policy is significantly influenced by globalization and capitalist interests, which often marginalize disadvantaged groups. Structural inequality in development benefit distribution further exacerbates socio-economic gaps. This article calls for a shift toward a people-centered and justice-oriented development paradigm. It contributes to academic discourse in development political economy while offering a foundation for more equitable and nationally driven policy reforms.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, maladministration poses a significant challenge to the implementation of good governance, undermining public trust and causing economic and social losses. This study aims to develop an effective maladministration education model to strengthen good governance practices. Using a literature review method, the research analyzes relevant literature on maladministration and good governance, including policies, journal articles, and research reports. The findings indicate that maladministration education can enhance awareness and understanding among citizens and government officials regarding the negative impacts of maladministration and the importance of transparency, accountability, and integrity. Education through formal curricula, interactive training, and public campaigns has been shown to reduce maladministration rates by 30% over the past two years. This study suggests integrating maladministration education into formal and non-formal education systems to reach broader segments of society while encouraging active public participation in administrative oversight. The research underscores the importance of collaboration among governments, educational institutions, and communities in creating a more equitable and accountable governance environment.

Abstract

The digitalization of the BPJS Kesehatan service system is increasingly advanced with the publication of the JKN Mobile Application. The JKN Mobile Application is an innovation carried out by BPJS Kesehatan in improving services to the community in the health sector, especially hospital patients, which is easy and practical. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the National Health Insurance (JKN) mobile application in improving the accessibility of health services and the economic welfare of the community in Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results of the study show that the JKN mobile application provides convenience in accessing health service information, such as online registration, consultation schedules, and searching for the nearest health facilities. However, obstacles are still found, such as limited digital literacy in certain users and technical obstacles in the application that hinder the optimization of benefits. From an economic perspective, the use of the JKN application contributes to reducing transportation costs and waiting times, which ultimately has a positive impact on household financial efficiency. This study concludes that the JKN mobile application has significant potential to improve the accessibility of health services and the economic welfare of the community. However, improvements need to be made to the application features, digital education, and supporting infrastructure so that the benefits can be felt evenly. These findings are expected to be input for the government and application developers in optimizing digital-based health services in the future.

Abstract

The rapid climate change, population growth, and global economic instability have put the agricultural sector at a crucial juncture. These challenges necessitate agricultural extension to focus not only on technical knowledge transfer but also on strengthening human resource capacity to cope with stress and adapt to changes. Resilience and inclusion are key components in addressing these challenges. Resilience enables farmers and agricultural leaders to withstand pressures, while inclusion ensures that all community members, including vulnerable groups, can participate and benefit from innovations. The digital era offers technologies that can significantly enhance agricultural productivity and efficiency. This article aims to analyze the role of resilience and inclusion in agricultural extension and how it can enhance food security in the digital age.
