Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Raushan Fikr
Journal in Islamic Studies published by the Institute for Student Studies and Empowerment IAIN Purwokerto. Subjects include textual study and fieldwork with various perspectives on law, philosophy, mysticism, history, art, theology, and more. Initially, the journal only functioned as a print and electronic journal media that accommodated and published research results from theses/final assignments and/or part of theses/final assignments for students of IAIN Purwokerto S.1 and S.2, from multidisciplinary sciences. However, due to later developments with a wider audience, the journal has managed to invite scholars and researchers outside the Institute to contribute. Thus, Indonesian and non-Indonesian scholars have enriched studies published in journals. Although from the start Raushan Fikr did not present highly qualified scientific articles, the improvement — in terms of format, style, and academic quality — never stopped. Now with articles written in Indonesian, Arabic and English and with fair peer-review procedures, Raushan Fikr continues to publish research and studies related to Islamic studies with various dimensions and approaches. Raushan Fikr, published twice a year (1 volume and 2 numbers) in January and July, has always placed Islam and Muslims in the main focus of academic inquiry and invited comprehensive observations on Islam as a theological belief and system of society and Muslims as those who practice religion with many sides. This journal, serving as a forum for Islamic studies in Indonesia and other parts of the world in a local and challenging global context, supports theme-focused studies and interdisciplinary studies. Raushan Fikr has become a medium for diffusion and exchange of ideas and research findings, in such a way that researchers, writers and readers from various learning traditions have interacted in a scientific way.

The Qur'an is not only seen as an ordinary text, it can also be considered a literary text. So that literary research in the Al-Quran has become commonplace and is often done. The narrative method in the Al-Qur'an is considered the most appropriate method for conveying messages, and Sigmund Frreud's literary psychological theory can perfect the method of conveying messages in stories. Because this theory is in direct contact with the reader's soul, and can reproduce itself through the characters. The purpose of this research is to describe the personality structure of the prophet Yunus in the Al-Qur’an, where the personality structure offered by Freud consist of the id, ego, and superego. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, namely by describing the facts as they are. The data collection method is by using note-taking and listening techniques, which are collected based on the Al-Qu'an verse as the main object and the research library as the supporting object. The result of this research is that the personality structure possessed by the Prophet Yunus only consists of the id, ego and the superego, but the most dominant personality possessed by the Prophet Yunus is the Superego, namely how the nature of morality awakens him from the mistakes he has made. This cannot be separated from the ability of Allah's hand, because remembering that the Prophet Yunus was a pious messenger of Allah who was sent to a people. Apart from the personality structure, Prophet Yunus also carried out the ego defense mechanism. Ego defense mechanisms in this study are apathy and sublimation.

This article examines the story of the Prophet Musa and the Prophet Khidir which are contained in Qs. Al-Kahfi 60-82. It is commonly known that the story tells of the mystical and suprarational events experienced by Prophet Musa while studying from Prophet Khidir. However, in this article, the study of the story of the Prophet Musa and Khidir becomes more interesting because - by using a descriptive-analytical approach - the writer tries to uncover the story through Ibn 'Arabi's perspective as stated in his commentary; Tafsi>r Ibn 'Arabi. As we know that the interpretation of Ibn 'Arabi by Husain al-Zahabi is categorized as a Sufi nadzari interpretation, which is an interpretation that is built to strengthen and promote philosophical and mystical theories adhered to by the commentators. As a result, Ibn 'Arabi's interpretation of the story is very different from the existing mainstream interpretation. In that sense, Ibn 'Arabi brought his interpretation of the story into the Sufistic-philosophical discourse. Because, in this story Ibn 'Arabi does not interpret it as a human journey physically (wadak) but is interpreted symbolically-allegorically, namely a spiritual journey, in which case the Prophet Musa is interpreted as a heart that wants to reach maqa> m kamal or makrifat to Allah through the guidance of the Prophet Khidir which is interpreted as a holy reason (al-'aql al-qudsi>).

Religion is often used as an excuse for the emergence of conflicts, but is every conflict that occurs really on the pretext of religion? In the last few decades, conflicts on the pretext of religion have “broken†in several parts of Indonesia. In addition, religion is full of equal values ​​and norms with the term “peaceâ€. Hamka is a religious figure, humanist, and writer whose most of his writings are dedicated to improving the moral aspects of human beings. In this study, the author uses the theory of double movement to analyze Hamka's intention in explaining QS. Al-Hujurat [49]:9-10. In collecting of data, the author uses a library research approach. The results of this study are from the first step of reconstructing Hamka's interpretation by taking the moral ideals contained in QS. al-Hujurat :9-10 namely Justice, tolerance, mutual help, interrelationship deliberation, and the spirit of humanity. From these values ​​the author develops them into two forms, first, “inward movement†as a logical consequence of self-defense from immaturity in taking a stance that triggers division. Second, the “outward movement†is the impact of the depth of science and spirituality so that it can be a "medicine for the soul" in social life, especially in this era of technological progress.

Pernikahan dini masih menjadi fenomena yang sering dilakukan oleh masyarakat, terutama di perdesaan atau masyarakat tradisional. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi hal tersebut. Salah satunya doktrin agama yang disalah pahami. Salah satu legitimasi adanya pernikahan dini adalah hadis dari ‘Aisyah RA., yang menyatakan bahwa Nabi menikahinya pada usia enam tahun dan menggaulinya pada usia sembilan tahun. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penyusunan artikel ini adalah penelitian pustaka (library research). Metode yang penulis gunakan adalah metode deskriptif-kualitatif dalam menjelaskan hadis pernikahan dini Aisyah dengan teori kritik sanad dan matan hadis. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa yang menjadi patokan atau tujuan utama hadis tersebut bukanlah usia, melainkan kematangan lahir atau kesiapan fisik. Batas minimal usia hanyalah bersifat temporal yang dapat berubah mengikuti kondisi zaman, tempat dan adat istiadat.

This study focuses on the search for the unity of meaning contained in material objects, namely the poem Al Ta'syirah by Hisyam Al Jakh. Hisham Al Jakh is a well-known contemporary poet in Egypt. He has won several awards. The formal object of this research is heuristic and hermeneutic reading. The theory used in this research is Michael Riffaterre's semiotics. In an effort to find complete meaning in poetry, two stages of reading are needed, namely heuristic and hermeneutic reading. Heuristic reading that focuses on lexical meaning and hermeneutic reading is a contextual reading by examining the hypogram (potential and actual), models and matrices. The results of the heuristic reading of Al Ta'syirah poetry revealed that the researcher found the reading results were irregular so that it was not possible to understand what the poem meant. The potential hypogram in Al Ta'syirah's poem describes me I as a character who is brave and loves the country. The model in Al Ta'syirah poetry lies in the sentences وليس سواك أخشاه and وكل العرب إخواني بلاد العرب أوطاني. The matrix in the poem above is "human freedom". The actual hipogram which is the background for the formation of this poem is existentialism which emphasizes human freedom in demanding their rights and voicing aspirations. The character "I" describes himself as a nationalist and activist. Shown to ghirroh and courage in criticizing the government with the aim of unity in the nation.

Today, society is faced with the phenomenon of globalization. This is immediately give demands that need more attention from all levels of society. The existence of globalization causes several challenges including self-defense to face global phenomena, self-readiness to face the era of competition, and readiness to improve self quality as a qualified human resource. It can be accomplished through educational reforms and creating new innovations in education. English-based Islamic Religious Education Learning is expected to be one of the way to prepare students to face the challenges of globalization. This research aims to find out how English-based learning of Islamic Religious Education is one of the way to face the challenges of globalization. The research is conducted on grade I students of MI Afkaaruna Islamic School Yogyakarta. This research used descriptive-qualitative research methode. The results of this study can be concluded that English-based Islamic religious education learning can be used as one of the way to prepare students to face the challenges of globalization because of the many benefits that are relevant as the solution for this matter.

Character education aims to direct students who have good morals. The human existence character mostly comes from the environment, such as innate, culture, and education received. Because the human character is always changed, the path is taken through the educational process, namely upbringing, and training. On the way, the student characters can experience a decrease and even deviations in space. This condition can be influenced by the environment around them. This study aims to find out how the concept of character education according to the Islamic figure, namely Ibnu Miskawaih through his book entitled "Tahdzibul Akhlak", and its relevance to education in Indonesia.This qualitative descriptive research uses content analysis technic of various documents as primary and secondary sources. In conclution, Ibn Miskawaih belongs to the Dualist-Active perspective argues that human character is built by his environment and the purpose of character education is to achieve virtue and happiness. The relevances of this topic with Indonesia education are in the subject of character and community service programs.

According to Al-Farabi education is a means of obtaining a series of values, knowledge and skills. Islamic education according to Al-Farabi must emphasize the formation of morals and reason. Utilization of reason to acquire knowledge must be accompanied by good character building. The purpose of this writing is to find out the biographical background, life, and thoughts with Islamic education in this modern era. The method used in the preparation of this paper is the library research method. Researchers collected data sources through text literature, both books, journals, and articles related to this discussion. The primary source of this paper is the journal of Educational Concepts According to Al-Ghozali and Al-Farabi (a comparative study of thought) by Agung Setyawan, UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The results showed that Al-Farabi was a philosopher and Muslim scientist who mastered various fields of science and language. The thought of education according to Al-Farabi is to prioritize the formation of morality or morality. Knowledge according to Al-Farabi is clean, and will only be obtained by people with a clean heart and good character. In the educational process according to Al-Farabi a student must pay attention to any differences in the potential that students have.

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang penerapan gagasan moderasi beragama oleh peserta Sekolah Keberagaman Kalimantan Timur dalam memahami realitas sosial sebagai upaya counter radicalism. Dengan menggunakan content analysis, penelitian ini mendeskripsikan konten (isi) buku “Langkah Kecil Menyemai Toleransi†dengan melihat sejauh mana moderasi beragama di adopsi oleh peserta Sekolah Keberagaman. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa (1) peserta Sekolah Keberagaman telah membuka diri dan mencoba melihat serta memahami realitas sosial yang ada dilingkungan sekitar; (2) Mengadopsi cara hidup modern, seperti sains dan teknologi; (3) Berpikir rasional dan mengedepankan akal pengetahuan daripada emosi; (4) Memahami agama tidak hanya secara tekstual namun juga dengan kontekstual dan komprehensif; dan (5) Melalui Sekolah Keberagaman, harapan mereka maupun kita semua adalah Indonesia dapat menjadi contoh untuk negara lain dalam hal toleransi, harmoni, dan kerjasama antar-agama maupun antar-etnis. Kelima hal tersebut sejalan dengan konsep moderasi beragama, artinya bahwa peserta telah mengaktualisasikan konsep moderasi beragama dalam hidupnya. Melalui tagline ‘cerita toleransi’, Sekolah Keberagaman mengajak kalangan pemuda untuk secara aktif mengkampanyekan pentingnya toleransi, perilaku positif, dan dalam kehidupan sosial baik di dunia nyata maupun di dunia maya sebagai upaya counter radicalism.

The purpose of education according to Ibn Rushd is to provide correct knowledge so that it can be implemented into the right actions as well. For this reason, educational materials and learning methods must be adapted to the readiness of human thinking as the subject of education. Of course, the level of readiness to think of ordinary people is different from that of educated people. This study is to determine the biographical background, life, and thoughts of Ibn Rushd about education, then to find the relevance of Ibn Rushd's educational thoughts with Islamic education in this modern era. The method used in the preparation of this paper is the library method. The researcher collected data sources through text literature, both books, journals, and articles that are relevant to this discussion. The results showed that Ibn Rushd was a philosopher, expert in fiqh, medicine and also a legal expert. Ibn Rushd has ideas and thoughts related to education, that education is practical which must be assisted through a theoretically appropriate model so that practical implementation is always in accordance with its theoretical implementation which aims to provide correct knowledge so that it can implement it into the right action as well. Ibn Rushd's thoughts on organized education in goals, curriculum, learning methods and teachers or educators are factors of determinant elements in education. Therefore, Ibnu Rushd's thoughts can be used as important references in the progress of the world of Education.
