Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies used by the Instagram account @keanuagl in building popularity on social media platforms. As one of the public figures who has succeeded in attracting the attention of the audience in a relatively short time, this account is an interesting example to study, especially in the context of content strategy and interaction with followers. This study uses a qualitative approach with a content analysis method, observing upload patterns, types of content, and how the account interacts with the audience. The results show that the success of @keanuagl is influenced by several main factors, such as consistency in uploads, use of humor and personal narratives, and collaboration with other public figures. In addition, the use of interactive features such as Stories, Live, and comments also contribute to increasing follower engagement. This study provides insight into how social media strategies can be used effectively to build popularity and strengthen relationships with audiences in the digital era. This study analyzes the strategy of the Instagram account @keanuagl in building popularity. With a qualitative approach and content analysis, the study observed upload patterns, types of content, and interactions with followers. The results show that consistency of uploads, use of humor, personal narratives, and collaboration with other public figures are the main factors. The use of interactive features such as Stories and Live also increases follower engagement. This study shows the effectiveness of social media strategies in building popularity in the digital era. Abstract

This study examines the use of code-switching and code-mixing in the YouTube videos of Leonardo Edwin, an Indonesian content creator. As an international student, Leonardo often combines Indonesian and English in his content to reach a wider audience. Using a symbolic interaction theory approach, this study investigates how the interaction between Leonardo and his followers through comments and content affects the image he presents. The results of the analysis show that external code-switching is more common, with the use of English when interacting with international friends. This research is expected to contribute to previous research on the phenomenon of code-switching and code-mixing on social media. Highlights: Audience Engagement – Leonardo Edwin uses code-switching to connect with both Indonesian and international audiences, making his content more inclusive. Symbolic Interaction – His language choices shape his online persona, influenced by interactions with followers and content themes. Predominant Pattern – External code-switching is more frequent, especially when engaging with international friends, highlighting social adaptation in digital communication. Abstract

In today's digital era, it is important to be able to build an online identity on social media. Online identity is the extension of one's physical existence into the virtual domain. Online identity has become an important aspect of our lives. Moreover, this includes influence in the digital space or can be called social media, privacy challenges, identity theory and about the dynamics in cyberspace. One of the most popular social media is Tik Tok. This research aims to find out how Vina Muliana shaping online identity, managing context collapse, as well as threats, challenges and opportunities for privacy and surveillance on Tik Tok social media. This type of research is qualitative. The research results show that Vina Muliana succeeded in building her online identity with an interesting strategy. Apart from that, the results show that Vina Muliana is able to overcome context collapse and also overcome threats to privacy and surveillance on Tik Tok social media. Highlights: Strategic Online Identity Building – Vina Muliana successfully shapes her online identity on TikTok through engaging content and a well-planned digital persona. Managing Context Collapse – She effectively navigates different audience expectations, maintaining consistency while adapting to various online interactions. Privacy & Surveillance Challenges – Vina Muliana proactively addresses privacy risks and surveillance concerns, balancing visibility with security on TikTok. Abstract

This study analyzes the formation of the online identity of Pandawara Group, a collective renowned for their social activities in raising awareness about environmental issues. The focus of this research includes strategies for building an online identity, managing the challenges of content collapse, and the authenticity displayed on digital platforms. The analysis shows that Pandawara Group successfully utilizes visual narratives and audience interactions to establish themselves as authentic agents of change. However, they also face challenges such as public pressure, the risk of criticism, and the necessity of maintaining content consistency. This study provides recommendations for enhancing their digital communication strategies to better manage risks while leveraging opportunities in the era of social media. Highlights: Strategic Online Identity – Pandawara Group builds authenticity through visual storytelling and active audience engagement. Challenges of Digital Presence – They navigate public scrutiny, criticism, and the demand for consistent content. Abstract

In the era of rapidly growing social media, public figures like Baim Wong face complex challenges in shaping and managing their online identities. This article analyzes in depth how Baim Wong, as an Indonesian celebrity, builds his online identity on various digital platforms, such as Instagram and YouTube, and how he manages the phenomenon of "context collapse" that often occurs in cyberspace. On the one hand, social media provides a great opportunity to connect directly with fans and introduce a more human and relatable self-image. However, on the other hand, it also poses great challenges in maintaining authenticity, privacy, and control over the information shared. Baim Wong, through various uploaded contents, not only displays a happy personal life with his family, but also uses social media for philanthropic activities and promotion of professional projects. However, with all the potential that exists, there are also privacy risks that must be faced, such as the potential for exploitation of personal data by third parties or threats to family security that often appear in his uploads. In building his online identity, Baim Wong prioritizes a balance between openness to the audience and protection of sensitive information, which is reflected in the way he chooses narratives that are acceptable to various audiences without sacrificing his personal privacy and security. Highlights: Building a Relatable Identity – Baim Wong strategically uses social media to connect with fans by sharing personal moments, philanthropic efforts, and professional projects. Managing Context Collapse – He navigates diverse audience expectations by carefully curating content that balances authenticity, privacy, and public perception. Abstract

Najwa Shihab has successfully built a strong and trustworthy online persona by prioritizing professionalism, ethics, and courage. Through a consistent approach and clear messaging, she effectively manages context collapse by utilizing content segmentation and low social media engagement. Despite facing challenges related to privacy and surveillance, Najwa uses her online platforms to inspire, educate, and mobilize society for positive change. This analysis examines how Najwa Shihab builds and maintains her online identity, manages interactions with diverse audiences, and addresses challenges related to reputation and privacy in the digital world. The findings show that while Najwa Shihab has successfully created a strong online presence, there is room to further develop strategies to protect her reputation and privacy. Abstract

The study examines how digital infrastructure affects urban life in Sulaymaniyah through its evaluation of the relationships between urban development and public services and digital economic progress. The evaluation of digital infrastructure distribution requires analysts to merge quantitative and qualitative methods along with GIS technology data processing for assessing urban quality of life. The research investigates Sulaymaniyah to reveal the operational mechanism of smart city policies through an assessment of their roles in developing sustainable urban growth with digital infrastructure. The fundamental outcomes from digital infrastructure expenditures enhance quick service delivery speed and enable partnerships that help sustain urban development zones. Public authorities should create supportive policies for digital transformation and form partnerships between public and private organizations to develop urban digital infrastructure according to the document. Highlights: Integration of Methods: Evaluating digital infrastructure in Sulaymaniyah requires both qualitative and quantitative analysis, supported by GIS technology. Smart City Focus: The study explores how digital infrastructure supports sustainable urban growth and the implementation of smart city policies.
