Abstract

The low learning motivation and interest in reading the economy so disappointinglearning outcomes of students, parents and teachers. It is characterized byinfrequent tasks done, enthusiasm in learning less and less active students in thelearning process. This study aims to examine the relationship between reading andlearning motivation and learning outcomes of economics. This study uses aquantitative approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of twoindependent variables, namely Reading Interest Economics (X1) and MotivationLearning Economic (X2) and one dependent variable is the Economic Study Results(Y). The whole population is used as a sample research (engineering samplesaturated). The number of students in class XI IPS SMAN 10 Pekanbarurespondent’s as many as 157 peoples. Prior research data was taken, first testedthe instrument to test the validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the testfrequency, descriptive, product moment correlation. The results showed that there isa significant relationship between economic interests in reading the results of theeconomic study. Likewise, there is a significant relationship between motivations tolearn economics with the results of the economic study. There is a significantrelationship between economic interest in reading and motivation bilajar economytogether with the results of the economic study. The higher the reading and thestudents' motivation, the higher the economic learning outcomes achieved bystudents. Conversely the lower the interest in reading and learning motivation ofstudents it will also lower the learning results obtained by students.

Abstract

Employees and companies are two things that are related. Employees has animportant role in a company. Employees need motivation and satisfaction in workinto promote the spirit of employees in working company. The purpose of thisresearch is: 1) analyzed levels of motivation work employees implementing PTPN IIISei Meranti, 2) analyzed levels of satisfaction work employees implementing PTPNIII Sei Meranti, 3) analyzed factors motivation relations work with satisfactionemployees work implementing PTPN III Sei Meranti. This study was conducted bysurvey method from April 2016 until January 2017. Analysis the data used wasdescriptive, likert, and analysis rank spearman. The sample collection done withpurposive sampling criteria employees implementation have worked more than twoyears in PTPN III Sei Meranti. The research results show that employees whoworked at the PTPN III Sei Meranti 73,49 percent are men with the average age 43years old when 55,42 percent the level of education employees primary school, theaverae length of work employees is 20 years, 66, 27 percent having 1-3 of familiesto as people, and 73,49 percent more large salary of Rp2.000.000. motivation workemployees implementing received score 3,48 to a category motivated. Satisfactionwork employees implementing received score 3,47 to a category satisfied. The arerelationship positive (in line) between motivation working with satisfaction workemployees, it means the higher motivation work employees so satisfaction workemployees did to the higher.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze profit, break event point and efficiency ofoyster mushroom farming at Pekanbaru City. Population of this research are 10 (ten)oyster farmer. This research used survey method, to analyze the profit, break eventpoint and efficiency of oyster mushroom farmer used production cost formula,equipment depreciation formulafarm receipts formula and farming profits formula.Farming group determination of the amount of cultivated baglog, that are first groupis 1.000-2000 baglog, second group is >2.000-3.000 baglog, and the third Group is≥4.000-5.000 baglog. The result of this research showed average of farming incomefor one planting period, for first scale group is Rp.9.593.614,67 with BEP 318,20 Kg,for second group is Rp.17.384.527,78 with BEP 422,53 kg, and for third group areRp.29.125.910,00 with BEP 510,01 kg. Farming efficiency result for first group are1,93 it means output Rp.1,00 get profit Rp.0,93 and worthy to be developed, forsecond group are 2,21 it means output Rp.1,00 get profit Rp.1,21, and for third groupare 2,50 it means output Rp.1,00 get profit Rp.1,50 and this oyster mushroombusiness worthy to be continued.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is the establishment of enterprenuerial character inlearners at SMP Negeri 7 Tualang in district of Tualang Siak. Data obtained from thefollowing sources such as head master, teacher’s (scoutmaster), and student’s.Subfocus of this research is the programs and activities of scouting, scoutingprogram which has charge of entrepreneurship, entrepreneutial character formationof students is done through the scouting program and factors inhibiting andsupporting the establishment of entrepreneurial character through scouting activities.Data collected by observation, interview, field notes, and study documentation. Datahave been obtained, then analyzed by systematically compile the data obtained. Theresult of this research SMP Negeri 7 Tualang can set-up 17 characters value ofentrepreneurial learners. Through a training program and coaching of scoutmaster,learners are able to carry out the practices of entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The character development of entrepreneurship in formal education in line with thenational policy in the field of education, which has prepared the concept ofentrepreneurship-based curriculum for all levels of education. The researchobjective was to assess the entrepreneurial character of teachers SMA NegeriKecamatan Tambang, Kampar district. This is a descriptive quantitative researchconducted by survey. The sample was 114 teachers. Data were collected using aquestionnaire which is based on Likert scale of five options, and the data wereanalyzed using descriptive statistics and statistical inference. This study found thatthe entrepreneurial character of teachers SMA Negeri Kecamatan Tambang,Kampar district viewed by 16 indicators obtained very high value Mean 4, 27 andStandard Deviasi 0.86. Meaning, the entrepreneurial character of teachers has beenvery good, all the indicators are already owned by the teacher with an excellent andvery high, but still needs to be improved by strengthening the entrepreneurialcharacter in the learning activities, with the coaching aspects relating to indicators.The results of this study will be as well as teaching materials and self-improvementof the entrepreneurial character, especially in the educational institution, teachersand students, in order to realize the will of Law Number 20 Year 2003 on NationalEducation System Article 3, which states that the national education serves todevelop skills and character development and civilization of the nation's dignity inthe context of the intellectual life of the nation, aims to develop the potential oflearners to be a man of faith and fear of God Almighty, noble, healthy,knowledgeable, skilled, creative, independent, and become citizens democratic andresponsible.

Abstract

Di dalam dunia kerja, penilaian kinerja karyawan mempunyai peran penting. Hal iniberkaitan dengan keputusan yang akan diambil perusahaan, terkait kinerja darikaryawannya. Sama halnya dengan perusahaan lain, PT Qwords CompanyInternational yang merupakan perusahan jasa web hosting tentu saja melakukanpenilaian kinerja kepada para karyawannya. Metode yang dipakai oleh PT QwordsCompany International, yaitu Graphic Rating Scale serta laporan kerja hariankaryawan. Namun pada pelaksanaannya kedua metode ini dinilai masih belumefektif. Hal ini dikarenakan masih banyak karyawan yang menganggap formalitas,penilaian bersifat subjektif, tidak ada standar yang jelas dan terukur, serta feedbackatas capaian kinerja karyawan. Akibatnya karyawan merasa tidak nyaman dan tidaktermotivasi dalam bekerja. Untuk menanggulanginya penulis menyusun metodepenilaian, yakni metode Behaviorally Anchor Rating Scale (BARS) dan Managementby Objectives (MBO). Metode BARS bisa mengatasi masalah penilaian kinerjakaryawan yang cenderung subjektif. Sedangkan, metode MBO mengakomodasikebutuhan perusahaan akan standar dan feedback dalam penilaian kinerjakaryawan. Dengan menggunakan kedua metode ini diharapkan dapatmenyelesaikan masalah penilaian kinerja karyawan pada PT Qwords CompanyInternational, hingga akhirnya karyawan bisa bekerja dengan nyaman dan penuhmotivasi.
