Abstract

As professionals, teachers have an important role to play in primary, secondary, and earlychildhood education. Teacher certification as an effort to boost teacher’s qualification is also expectedto improve learning quality and quality education continuously. This study aims at investigating theimpact of teacher certification on teachers’ working performance. The Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA)was used to obtain accurate information related to pedagogic, personal, social, and professionalcompetences. The competences of both certified and uncertified teachers were measured against 78indicators, and the impact of the implementation of the government’s policy on teachers’ teachingperformance was measured using t-test. Results showed that overall there is a difference betweencertified and uncertified teachers. However, in terms of both junior and senior high school teachers’pedagogic and professional competences, no difference was found. Statistical tests showed that thereis no difference in working performance between certified and uncertified teachers.Key words: Certification, teachers’ working performance, policy implementation

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the students who really need motivation in learning one of them that their skills provide reinforcement by the teacher for reinforcement is a tribute to the stimulation and enthusiasm in learning. Encouragement and spirit is what will influence student motivation in learning mainly on economic elajaran. However, in reality not all teachers are aware of the importance of giving reinforcement to students. Whereas if the honors can increase students' motivation for students to feel his efforts are well appreciated. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze how much influence skills provide reinforcement to motivate students of class XI IPS SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS SMA PGRI Pekanbaru odd semester of 2016/2017 academic year with the number of 75 people. The sampling technique refers to the idea Arikunto (2006) which says that when the subject is less than 100 better taken all that research is the study population. Based on the analysis concluded that the significant value on the table Annova amounted to 0.078 greater than the critical value of 0.05. Then obtained 0.078 > 0.05, and these results show that the Skills Provide Reinforcement (KMP) has no significant effect on Student Motivation (MBS) students of class XI IPS SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. Judging from R Square of 0.042, this shows that the independent variables used in this study can only affect the dependent variable of 4.2%. Thus it can be said that the ability of independent variables in influencing the dependent variable is low. Based on the regression coefficient if Strengthening Skills Provide increased by 1, the Student Motivation will also be increased by 0.304.Key Words : Teacher’s skill in giving reinforcement, student’s motivation

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to identify and analyze the relationship between the participation of members of the cooperative with SHU reception at the Village Unit Cooperatives (KUD) Karya Sawit subdistrict Rumbio Kratai Bukit Desa Jaya Kampar regency. This study was conducted from March to May 2016. The subjects were members of the Village Unit Cooperatives (KUD) Karya Sawit subdistrict Rumbio Kratai Bukit Desa Jaya Kampar Regency as many as 48 people. The sample used (sample random sampling). The data used is secondary data, namely data necessary to support the analysis and discussion of members' savings and reception of data SHU. Data analysis techniques in this study is to test Rank Spearman nonparametric statistical methods that are processed through the program SPSS 18 and Microsoft Excel program. The results of this study indicate that the participation of the members has a positive and significant relationship with the reception SHU. The higher the participation of members of the higher SHU received by members. Keywords: Participation of members, SHU Acceptance

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of parental education and learning facilities on student achievement in class XI IPS SMAN 2 Tambang Kabupaten Kampar. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Tambang of the month December 2014 to February 2015. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. A population of 121 students and all the sampled population (census). Data collection instrument used was a questionnaire using a Likert scale for the independent variables: education level of parents (X1) and learning facilities (X2). The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The result showed that the level of parental education and learning facilities simultaneously influence on student achievement. It is based on the results of analyzes, calculations show of F > F table (5.515 > 2.696). While partially levels of parental education and learning facilities effect on student achievement in class XI IPS SMAN 2 Tambang. This is evidenced by the t test, parental education level variables obtained t value 2.291 dengan 2,319 t tabel 1,660 and learning facilities with ttabel 1,660 value. So it can be concluded that the level of parental education and learning facilities effect on student achievement with a contribution of 85.5% and the remaining 14.5% is influenced by other factors not examined as the school environment, society, and so forth.   Keywords : influence, parental education levels, facilities, academic achievement

Abstract

Abstract :This research aims to find out how big the influence of sales promotion costs to sales volume. This research was conducted in PT Rianda Ganda Mandiri in Pekanbaru. Located in the way of a rajawali street no.86 F Sukajadi Pekanbaru, appointed by PT. Shell Indonesia Campanies in 1997 as the official distributors. The research was carried out in May-June 2014. The data used is primary data, namely data any information obtained, observed and noted by the researchers directly from the company that became the object of research. A promotional forms were used, obtained from PT Rianda Ganda Mandiri and data secondary the data or information derived from the company, in the form of data on the volume of sales and promotion costs obtained in the sale of PT Rianda Ganda Mandiri. Results of calculation shows tcalculate>ttable (t6.819>t2.032),it means there is a significant influence among the promotional cost of sales volume. And the magnitude of the effect of sales promotioncosts to sales volume PT Rianda Ganda Mandiri in Pekanbaru is equl to 57.8%, while the rest in influenced by other factors not examined this study, as the cost of advertising, publicity fees, the cost of personal selling. Therefore, if the company wants to increase the volume of sales it needs to also increase the cost ofthe sales promotion. Key Words:Cost of Sales Promotion, Sales Volume

Abstract

Abstract: The background of the problems in this study was the lack of students interest. This study was aimed to determine the increase in students interest in social subject class V Darul Ulum Islamic Elementary School Sintong Tanah Putih by using cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Division. This research was a classroom action research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. Subjects in this study the number of fifth grade students with 22 students consisting of 10 males and 12 females. Classroom action research in order to succeed, the researchers set the stage that action planning, action, observation and reflection. The instrument of colleecting the data was observation sheet, that teacher and student activity sheets observation interest in learning. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) increase the interest students of class V Government Elementary School Darul Ulum Sintong Tanah Putih, evidenced by 1) Activities of teachers of the first cycle of the first meeting with the percentage of 54, 17% (Not Good) further increased in the second meeting a percentage of 75.0% (Good). In the second cycle in the first meeting with a percentage of 87.5% (Very Good) increased in the second meeting siklsu II becomes 95.83% (Very Good)., 2) Activities of students meeting the first cycle of the first meeting with a percentage of 46.21% (Not Good) increased at a second meeting be 65.15% (Good) further increased in the second cycle to the first dipertemuan increased to 82.6% (Very Good) increased to 91.67% (Very Good) in the second meeting of the second cycle, and 3) average the percentage of student interest at the first meeting reached 56.36% (Good), and then increased in the second meeting of the first cycle with an average percentage of 66.36% (Good). While on the second cycle, student interest increased to 75.45% (Good) and the second meeting of the second cycle reaches 84.55% (Very Good).Key Words: Cooperative Learning Model Type STAD, Students Interest, IPS

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this action research is to determine how the application of Cooperative Learning Model TPS (think pair share) can Improve Student Motivation Economy Class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Kopar I Rokan Hilir. This research is a class act consisting of two cycles, with four sessions each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the study in the first cycle by using cooperative learning methods Type TPS (think pair share) to Improve Student Motivation Learning Economy Class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Kopar I Rokan Hilir has increased. Motivation to study economics students, the first cycle and the first meeting of the two obtained a score of 2.51 with a lower classification. Then in the second cycle of the first and second meetings has increased with a score of 5.13 with a high category and occurs on average change in score at 4:13 with a high category. It can be concluded that by applying the type cooperative learning model TPS (Think Pair Share) was found to increase students' motivation.Keywords: cooperative learning model TPS (Think Pair Share), motivation to learn, economics.

Abstract

Abstract : One faktor that affects the quality of learning is the variable performance of teachers. Teachers have a dominant influence on the quality of learning, because the teacher is the one who is responsible for the learning process in the classroom, even as education providers in schools. In carrying out the process of teaching and learning not only to teachers are Civil Servants but applies also to the teachers of Non-Civil Servant. In carrying out the process of teaching and learning not only to teachers are civil servants but applies also to the teachers of Non-Civil Servant. On the fact that the actual performance of the teachers are still not much gets done properly, whether teachers are teachers of Civil Servants had a good performance in accordance with the rules and responsibilities of the Government or are still less well in doing performance teaching, or the performance of the teachers of Non-Civil Servants even better than on the performance of the teacher of Civil Servants. The purpose of this research is to know the difference in performance of teachers with the teachers of Non-Civil Servants and Civil Servants At State Vocational secondary school 7 of Pekanbaru. The data obtained provide a questionnaire to all teachers are Civil Servants and Non-Civil Servants who teaches at the school that is as much as 40 respondent. The data analysis techniques are used descriptive analysis and the analysis of the T- test. The results of the research there is a difference between the performance of teachers with teachers of Non Civil Servants and Civil Servants based on T-test test performed show that the significance of the value obtained from the calculation of a Non Parametric Test that is smaller than 0.004 value specified significance 0.05 (p > 0.050). Abstract

Abstract: This research to investigate the influence of personal and psychological factors on the decision to save in Nagari Bank Branch Pangkalan. This research was conducted in Nagari Bank Branch Pangkalan which is located in Jorong Pasar Baru Kecamatan Pangkalan Baru Koto, Kabupaten 50 Kota, West Sumatra. With a sample of 97 customers using the formula slovin. The research instrument used was a questionnaire by using descriptive data analysis and regression. From the results of research using descriptive analysis known that personal factors most respondents are at very high category as many as 64 respondents or 65.97%. This means customers found personal factors influence a client's decision to save in Nagari Bank Branch Pangkalan. For psychological factors that most respondents are in the high category, only 40 respondents or 41.23%. The percentage impact that psychological factors are still under 50%. This means that the client believes that psychological factors do not affect the customer's decision to save in Nagari Bank Branch Pangkalam. Using statistical analysis known that personal and psychological factors influence simultan toward saving decision (Fhitung 27.484> Ftabel 3.09). While partially personal factors significantly influence decision-saving (thitung 5,249> t table 1.661) whereas psychological factors did not significantly influence the decision to save (thitung 0.444 <t table 1.661). From the calculation of the coefficient of determination of personal and psychological factors have an influence on the decision to save Bank Nagari Base Branch of 35.6% and the remaining 64.4% is influenced by other factors not examined. Thus the expected Bank Nagari improve personal and psychological factors that may influence the decision to save the customer.Keywords: Influenced, Personal Factors, Psychological Factors, The Decision To Save

Abstract

Abstract: The aims of the study is to know the influencet of capital and the participation of members abaut (SHU) on KPRI University of Riau. The subject of this study is the members of KPRI University OF Riau, amount 94 people, the samples are taken by using the proportional sampling. The data are primary data and secondary data with data collection by using questionnaires and documentation. The echnique of analysis data I used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis processed through SPSS 16.0 For Windows and Microsoft Excel program. The results of this study indicate that capital and the participation have significant effect on SHU. It’s meani the more higher capital from the member so the more hugher parcipation of member too and it wiil be increasing attainment of SHU. In other hard for increasing SHU, the operation need the motivation from the member by capital or the participation.Key Words: Cooperatives, Capital, Member Participation, the balance of the enterprises, SHU
