Abstract

Abstrak Bagi penyandang disabilitas penglihatan, di era yang modern ini kekurangan tersebut tidak menjadi penghalang untuk mereka menuntut ilmu agar mendapatkan tujuan hidup yang lebih baik oleh karena itu, diciptakanlah Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence). Kecerdasan Buatan seringkali di identikan dengan kemampuan robot yang dapat berperilaku seperti manusia. Kecerdasan buatan itu sendiri di definisikan sebagai suatu entitas ilmiah. Kecerdasan ini diciptakan dan di masukkan ke dalam suatu alat bantu (komputer) agar dapat melakukan pekerjaan seperti yang dapat dilakukan manusia, dan salah satunya adalah dengan pengenalan ucapan (Speech Recognition). Speech Recognition dalah suatu proses identifikasi suara berdasarkan kata yang diucapkan, dengan melakukan konversi sebuah sinyal akustik yang ditangkap oleh audio device. Speech recognition merupakan sistem yang digunakan untuk mengenali perintah kata dari suara manusia, dan kemudian diterjemahkan menjadi suatu data yang dimengerti oleh komputer. Dengan adanya Speech Recognition ini, dapat memudahkan disabilitas tunanetra untuk menjalankan komputer tanpa ragu dalam membuka atau menjalankan aplikasi. Karena dengan Speech Recognition ini, suara mereka dapat di mengerti oleh komputer. Kata-kata kunci: Artificial Intelligence, Speech Recognition, disabilitas tunanetra Abstract For people with visual disabilities, in this modern era the shortcomings are not a barrier for them to study in order to get a better purpose of life therefore, Artificial Intelligence (Artificial Intelligence) is created. Artificial Intelligence is often identified with the ability of robots that can behave like humans. Artificial intelligence itself is defined as a scientific entity. This intelligence is created and inserted into a tool (computer) in order to do the work as humans can do, and one of them is with speech recognition (Speech Recognition). Speech Recognition is a process of voice identification based on a spoken word, by converting an acoustic signal captured by an audio device. Speech recognition is a system used to recognize the word command of human voice, and then translated into a data that is understood by the computer. With this Speech Recognition, it can make it easier for blind people to run the computer without hesitation in opening or running applications. Abstract

This research is to develop physics workbook with Android OS as mobile learning, an alternative learning for students. In addition to increase student interest, application development is also built to make students understand concepts through a workbook. Learning materials are limited to the theory of special relativity for third grade in Senior High School. In this research, the used method is research and development. The validation results show that the material of workbook is valid at 87.50%, while the media is valid at 84.25%, the empirical test of physics teacher result is valid at 78.49%, and students test result is valid at 79.23%. Thus it can be concluded that the physics workbook has already qualified as instructional media support mobile learning for Senior High School students. Abstract

The main purpose of this literature study is determine the suitability of the 7E models learning cycle in high school, physics lessons, in the implementation of Curriculum 2013. The 7E learning cycle model begins with Elicit which means the child is directed to give attention to new things or old things that never care before. The next stage is Engage, at this stage the child is directed to focus on a specific topic. This model was followed by directing children to be able to examine more deeply the topic, Explore. If the student is considered capable understand the topic, then the student will easily explain the topic in brief, both verbally and in writing, Explain. The next stage Elaborate / Extend, the stage had to be marked with the student's inability to explain the understanding obtained on their friends and share information obtained. Highest stages in this model is Evaluate, formal and informal summative stage where the child is considered to have really understood the topic. By using this model the child should be able to understand and make the subject as a means of understanding that will always be remembered. Thus, this model is considered to be capable of meeting the demands Kurikulim 2013, which expects the output of a meaningful lesson. Abstract

The research objectives were to determine the effect of environmental management based learning and cognitive style on learning outcomes of the natural sciences-physics Bengkulu city junior high school students with a sample class VII Semester 1. The experimental group using a managementbased learning environment, while the control group used the conventional learning management. Each group is distinguished by cognitive style field independent and field dependent. The research using experimental methods 2 x 2 factorial design. The research instrument using an objective test of multiple choice and essay limited. By using Anova test hypotheses obtained two lines of research results that the study of the natural sciences-physics students who use learning management environment based higher compared with conventional learning management. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there are comparisons of learning outcomes between students' physics student learning model problem composing with the model type of learning problem posing pre solution posing. The hypothesis of this study is the comparison between the model of learning There is a problem composing learning with model type of problem posing pre solution posing for physics students' learning outcomes. The research was conducted at SMAN 72 Jakarta class XI in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013. The method used in this study is a Quasi Experimental method. With the target population to which all students of SMA Negeri 72 Jakarta, while the population of all students in grade XI inaccessibility IPA. Sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling randomly determined and taken 34 students of class XI IPA 2 as experiment and 34 students of class XI IPA 4 as the control class. Data collection technique using a research instrument multiple choice test. The research instrument before given to the object of research is done before the test instrument validity, reliability testing, test difficulty level, and distinguishing test. 81 Description of the results of the analysis of data obtained an average value of 80.6, while the experimental class control class is 71.5 mean average value of the experimental class higher than the control class. While hypothesis testing using the t test obtained tcount = 4,997 > 1,998 = ttable using a significance level of = 0.05. This means reject H0, then the results of this study concluded that there is a comparison between the model of learning problem composing with the model type of learning problem posing pre solution posing to the physics student learning outcomes. Abstract

Mata pelajaran fisika adalah salah satu mata pelajaran rumpun sains yang dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir menyelesaikan masalah yang berkaitan dengan peristiwa alam sekitar, baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif dengan menggunakan matematika sehingga dapat mengembangkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta sikap percaya diri. Pada pemahaman tersebut, anak yang belajar sains tidak lagi menerima informasi tentang produk sains, tetapi melakukan proses ilmiah untuk menemukan fakta dan membangun konsep. Pembelajaran scientifict membantu siswa membentuk atau mengkonstruksi suatu konsep agar lebih kuat pemahamannya jika diperoleh berdasarkan pengalaman secara langsung melalui pendekatan scientifict yaitu berbasis masalah, penemuan, dan proyek. Sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 yang berbasis scientifict yang dituangkan dalam Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis masalah dan penemuan dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Abstract

This study was conducted to prepare the grade XII’s students in facing the Physics National Examination. The preparation was done with apply Jigsaw method in physics teaching learning. Its’ goal was to increase students’ motivation and achievement physics test. The place of study was in Senior Islamic High School State (MAN) 15, Ciracas, East Jakarta and the subject of this study was 22 students physics class XII science-1 school year 2013-2014. The study was Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles. The data was collected by observation students and teacher sheets, questionnaire and achievement test. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistic. The result of study was increasing average test score 123% from 32.72 to 72.08. The questionnaire analyzed showed that almost all of students (91.7%) felt motivate and enthusiasm in learning physics after the study and also the students felt more confidence in facing Physics National Examination. Abstract

Literasi sains merupakan suatu hal yang penting untuk dikuasai setiap individu karena hal ini tidak hanya sebatas pada perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi saja, tetapi berkaitan erat dengan bagaimana seseorang dapat memahami lingkungan hidup dan masalah-masalah lain yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat modern. Oleh karena itu, berbagai upaya untuk meningkatkan penguasaan literasi sains sangat diperlukan, salah satunya melalui peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran sains. Salah satu bagian penting dalam proses pembelajaran sains adalah buku ajar, karena buku ajar merupakan bagian yang sifatnya berhubungan langsung dengan anak didik, serta pada umumnya digunakan sebagai pegangan utama guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Pentingnya literasi sains dan buku ajar tersebut melatarbelakangi penelitian ini, khususnya pada pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini menyajikan informasi mengenai ruang lingkup kategori literasi sains pada buku ajar fisika SMA Kelas X yang digunakan di Kota Bandung. Kategori literasi sains pada penelitian ini meliputi kategori pengetahuan sains, kategori penyelidikan hakikat sains, kategori sains sebagai cara berpikir, serta kategori interaksi sains, teknologi, dan masyarakat. Sebanyak tiga buku ajar fisika dijadikan sampel pada penelitian ini, dan masing-masing memberikan ruang lingkup kategori literasi sains yang berbeda-beda. Dari keseluruhan buku ajar yang dianalisis, secara umum menyajikan ruang lingkup kategori literasi sains sebagai berikut: 44,5% memuat kategori pengetahuan sains, 17,0% memuat kategori penyelidikan hakikat sains, 29,4% memuat kategori sains sebagai cara berfikir, dan 9,1% memuat kategori interaksi sains, teknologi, dan masyarakat. Data tersebut memberikan gambaran bahwa buku ajar fisika yang beredar umumnya menekankan pada kumpulan pengetahuan sains. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan besarnya persentase untuk kategori pengetahuan sains.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang belajar dengan strategi problem solving berbantuan PhET, strategi problem solving, dan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi dengan posttest only design. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan tes penguasaan konsep sebanyak 20 soal dan 5 untuk soal kemampuan berpikir kritis setelah diberikan perlakuan pada 3 kelompok kelas berbeda SMAN 8 Mataram. Kelompok pertama adalah siswa yang belajar dengan strategi problem solving berbantuan PhET, kelompok kedua adalah siswa yang belajar dengan strategi problem solving, dan kelompok ketiga adalah siswa yang belajar secara konvensional. Sebelum dilakukan perlakuan dan pengambilan data, instrumen yang digunakan telah melalui uji ahli dan uji coba. Data yang telah diproses dianalisis menggunakan multivariate of Anova kemudian diuji lanjut dengan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Strategi problem solving berbantuan PhET lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan strategi problem solving dan konvensional terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika siswa. (2) Strategi problem solving berbantuan PhET lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan strategi problem solving dan konvensional terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Kata Kunci: problem solving, PhET, penguasaan konsep, kemampuan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a mobile learning instructional media android application on the subject of optical instruments. This application contains material learning across levels of education on the same subject, namely: optical instruments (SMA), reflection and refraction (SMP) and light (SD). The research was conducted between January and July 2013 in the Digital Media Laboratory of Physics, State University of Jakarta, and tested in SMA 30 and SMA Negeri Jakarta Pusat Jakarta Selatan 38 to 30 students as a learning object. The method used in this research is the development of research methods (Research and Development). With the design phase of products, product development, product testing and product revision. The results of this study are in the form of Android-based learning application that is used as a medium of learning support at school physics. This learning application has been validated by 2 people matter experts with an average percentage of 91.67%, 2 media expert with an average percentage of 80.96%, and 2 high school physics teacher with an average percentage of 81.81%. This learning application has also been through a process of trial is limited to 10 students and a small group of trials to 20 students, with an average percentage of 82.03%. These results indicate that the android app for learning mobile learning have been fit for use as a medium of learning support at school physics.
