Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze how and how much Location, Capital Availability and Risk towards the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Medan Polonia sub-district (Case study of Tofu and Tempe MSMEs in Kel. Sari Rejo, Kec. Medan Polonia). The research method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive approach. The type of data used is primary and secondary. The subjects in the research were Tofu and Tempe MSMEs in Kel. Sari Rejo, Kec. Medan Polonia and the objects of this research were 32 respondents. The test tool used in this research is SPSS 20.0 to test classical assumptions, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, namely the t test, it shows that location has a positive and significant effect on the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Capital Availability has a positive and significant effect on the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Risk has a positive and significant effect on the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). And the results of the F test show that the Location, Capital Availability and Risk simultaneously have a significant effect on the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with an F Prob value of 0.0000. The results of this test show that Location, Capital Availability and Risk variables contribute 73.9% to the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) variable.

Abstract

The development of the industrial world in Indonesia is experiencing rapid development. The development of this industry cannot be separated from the formal and informal sectors. One of the developments in the informal industry is the welding sector. Welding is a local connection between two or more metals using heat energy.M.Star Workshop is a motorbike repair shop in the Purwosari area, Pasuruan which provides manufacturing and welding services for motorbike frames. This workshop has 4 workers who work 8 - 10 hours a day every day. Based on the results of the interview, it was discovered that the operator experienced muscle complaints in several parts of his body. These complaints occurred in the back, neck, waist, knees, feet and hands during the welding and sanding process. This is because the body position when working requires workers to bend their bodies and fold their legs for hours. This research aims to analyze the ergonomic risks felt by workers when doing work and provide recommendations for improving work posture to increase work productivity. This research uses the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method to assess work posture risks, the Nordic Body Map to determine workers' complaints, then uses Mannequin Pro Software to improve work posture. The results showed that worker 1 had a risk value of 7 and worker 2 had a risk value of 9. The Nordic Body Map score for worker 1 was 62 and worker 2 was 65. Improving work posture with Mannequin Pro Software reduced the risk value for worker 2 from 9 to 3 and reduces torque by 28% from 14 Nm to 10.

Abstract

This study analyzed the causes of rejects in broiler egg production using the Six Sigma DMAIC method. Seven main types of defects were found: Miss (18.52%) caused by the parent being too old, Thin (13.74%) due to lack of vitamins and vaccines, Small (3.46%) due to the parent being too young, Dirty (8.16%) due to the parent laying eggs in the wrong place, Crack Farm (35.93%) due to the parent laying eggs in the wrong place, Crack Hatchery (12.37%) due to careless egg transfer process, and Damage (5.47%) due to damage during transfer and grading. To reduce the reject rate, the proposed actions include: paying attention to the age of the parent for Miss defects, providing vitamins and vaccinations for Thin defects, ensuring the parent is old enough for Small defects, ensuring the parent lays eggs in the right place for Dirty and Crack Farm defects, and tightening supervision during transfer and grading of eggs for Crack Hatchery and Damage defects. The implementation of these actions is expected to improve the quality of broiler egg production.

Abstract

The increasing aviation industry, the implementation of a safety management system is expected to be able to overcome the occurrence of aviation traffic accidents and reduce the number of aviation accidents. Aircraft accidents continue to overshadow the rapid development of the aviation industry in Indonesia. There were 19 accidents and 26 major incidents in 2016, according to data from the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT). There were eleven aircraft accidents and seventeen major incidents in 2015, therefore, this shows an increase. Reported from KOMPAS TV explains "There was an air traffic accident at Tunggul Wulung Airport, Central Java, where the PK-RTZ training aircraft belonging to GFS (Genesa Flying School) had an accident during aerobatics in the air at Tunggul Wulung Airport, Cilacap which caused the aircraft to crash and hit the aircraft hangar. The incident occurred on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 15:20 WIB. The training aircraft was piloted by MJ. Hanafie from Malang, previously the aircraft took off from Tunggul Wulung Airport at around 14.02 WIB, then at 15.15 WIB performed aerobatics while practicing aerobatics for the graduation of Genesha Flight Academy students". At Tunggul Wulung Airport, Cilacap, the aircraft crashed into the apron and hangar of Perkasa Flight School after losing lift and descending too low. Tragically, pilot Hanafie lost his life in the incident, and his body was sent to Pertamina Hospital, Cilacap. This study uses qualitative research. The methods used in data collection in this study are interviews, observations and documentation as support to answer the formulation of research questions. The results of this study are that Tunggul Wulung Airport is quite good at implementing an airside safety management system, it only needs to be improved in several aspects such as audit and supervision activities which are included in the pillars of safety policies and targets where this must be improved so that every aspect, whether in the form of facilities or other places, can function optimally. The factors that inhibit the implementation of the airside safety system at Tunggul Wulung Airport are the lack of airport safety support facilities, the incompetence of the personnel on duty, the suboptimal use of the Air Traffic Reporting Information System, and indications of a lack of regular maintenance in both the Airside and Landside areas.

Abstract

Excellent service has an important role in a business in the field of aviation companies. The main factor Aviation Security System is a written document that contains regulations, procedures and security measures taken to protect aviation from illegal acts, Aviation Security officers have a duty in the supervision of dangerous goods at Adi Soemarmo Boyolali Airport. Internationally, rules related to the security of dangerous goods are specifically contained in annex 18 (the safe transport of dangerous good by air). The implementation of the security system must be well prepared and maximized, because the security system will have a major effect on the continuity of the flight. it was found that the less than optimal security system implemented, there are still frequent problems that occur such as, officers who are less careful in checking passenger luggage and there are still operational support facilities that must be improved. In this study usingIqualitativeImethods,Inamely data collection methods in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained in the form of interviews with aviation security officers at adi soemarmo boyolali international airport and documents used to carry out daily activities. The results of this study indicate an explanation of the data taken by researchers both in terms of observation, interviews, and documentation that the security system applied by aviation security officers at PCSP 2 is checking tickets, x-ray checks and checking WTMD and HHMD. The results of researchers' observations that the security system implemented at PSCP 2 is said to be optimal in accordance with the applicable SOP. Based on data sources from interviews conducted by researchers, that there are obstacles in carrying out dangerous goods supervision, namely the buildup of passengers in the PSCP area and the factor of lack of human resources.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of ownership structure on dividend policy and earnings management in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period. This research uses a quantitative research approach. The research sample selection used purposive sampling of 226 companies, and a sample of 11 manufacturing companies was obtained. The data source for this research uses secondary data originating from the financial reports of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI).  Statistical tests and data processing were carried out using Partial Least Square (WarpPLS). The research results show (1) Ownership structure has a significant negative effect on dividend policy. (2) Ownership structure has a significant positive effect on earnings management. (3) Dividend policy has no effect on earnings management.

Abstract

The use of planer machines continues to evolve. Regular maintenance is very important to maintain the reliability of the planer machine, ensuring its function remains optimal. This research combines qualitative and quantitative data. Planer machine maintenance schedule analysis will be carried out in this research using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach. The main objective of this investigation is to assess reliability factors, identify the root cause of failure or damage, and propose a maintenance plan aimed at reducing the occurrence of damage and operational disruptions in various main systems of the planer machine. In industry, especially those in the mechanical engineering field, it is expected to prioritize maintenance scheduling for each machine component, especially critical ones, to prevent damage.

Abstract

                This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation and interest rates on the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) as the main indicator of the capital market in Indonesia in the 2019-2023 period. JCI reflects the dynamics of the stock market which is influenced by various macroeconomic factors. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis, utilizing secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results showed that inflation has a significant positive effect on the JCI, while interest rates have no significant effect. The classical assumption test ensures that the regression model used is valid and reliable. Based on the analysis, inflation and interest rates together explain 26% of the variability of the JCI, while the rest is influenced by other factors. In conclusion, inflation plays an important role in influencing the JCI, making it a major concern for investors and policymakers.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether Job Satisfaction and Work Motivation towards Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) simultaneously affect Employees of the Environmental and Forestry Agency of Gorontalo Province. The data collection technique employed in this study was a questionnaire with a population of all Civil Servants (PNS) of the Environmental and Forestry Agency of Gorontalo Province or 77 employees in total. In the meantime, the samples were determined using total sampling due to the population was relatively small. The analytical test tool used in testing this research was multiple linear regression. The data analysis method used the SPSS 26 application. Based on the findings, the multiple refression analysis test result indicated that the simultaneous test of the variables of Job Satisfaction and Work Motivation had a moderate (not strong) effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. In detail, the effect recorded was 0.758 or 75.8%. Meanwhile, the remaining 0.24.2 or 24.2% was affected by other variables not examined in the study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of visual branding on consumer buying interest among students of University X. The research method used is a quantitative method with 100 respondents selected by random sampling. Data was collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed with the help of SPSS software and Smart PLS 4 software. The results of this study show that visual branding has a significant influence on the buying interest of State University X students, that 55% of students' buying interest is influenced by visual branding, which includes design elements such as logos, colors, and typography. Visual branding plays an important role in creating a strong image and building consumer trust, which ultimately improves purchasing decisions. Therefore, it is important for companies to pay attention to visual branding elements in their marketing strategies to create a more immersive and memorable consumer experience.
