Abstract

Conventional learning methods are mostly dominated by abstract concepts so that they can make understanding of the subject matter less than optimal. However, there are actually some learning materials that are suitable for using conventional methods and some are more suitable for using learning with the application of E-learning. Apart from that, the rapid development of technology has unwittingly changed various forms of interaction in people's social lives.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi dan informasi mengharuskan setiap orang memiliki kemampuan literasi digital yang baik, termasuk dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran ini adalah untuk memberikan keterampilan dan pengetahuan kepada guru-guru RA di Indragiri Hilir dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran secara digital. Video-video yang dihasilkan akan digunakan sebagai sarana penyampaian materi agar lebih menarik dan memenuhi gaya belajar anak usia dini yang beragam. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi untuk menarik minat dan motivasi anak-anak dalam belajar sehingga dapat mengikuti materi yang disampaikan oleh guru dengan baik. Pelatihan ini menghasilkan para guru yang dapat membuat video pembelajaran untuk anak usia dini.

Abstract

This training aims to provide understanding and skills in using the Canva graphic design application as a tool to enhance MSME product promotion. MSMEs face challenges in communicating their products effectively to potential customers in today's digital era. The Canva application, with its intuitive and various features, can be the right solution to help MSMEs produce attractive and professional promotional materials. This training will cover the basic concepts of graphic design, an understanding of using Canva's design tools, and practice in creating various types of promotional materials, such as posters, banners, flyers, and social media posts. Participants will be invited to develop their creativity and apply effective design elements, such as an attractive layout, the right choice of colors, and a harmonious visual composition. In addition, this training will help participants understand how to adapt designs for various social media platforms, so that promotional messages can be conveyed optimally to the target audience. The concept of using text and images in designs will also be discussed to optimize visual appeal and the message conveyed. In this training, participants will have the opportunity to practice directly by making promotional designs for their own MSME products. This will help them apply the knowledge gained in real situations and get constructive feedback for design improvements. In conclusion, graphic design training using the Canva application has great potential to empower MSMEs in increasing their product promotions. With the knowledge and skills acquired, MSMEs can create promotional materials that are attractive, professional and in accordance with their brand identity. Thus, this training can contribute significantly to expanding market reach and the success of MSMEs in today's digital era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out assistance in obtaining halal certificates for UMKM in se-Labuhantau Raya. In this study, service team used qualitative research methods. The types of data in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained by the service team through interviews with mentors in an effort to collect data in this study, namely through interviews and using documentation by seeking information and references in the form of journals and information from the internet. Halal certification plays an important role in ensuring that the businesses produced by UMKM actors are free from illicit products ranging from raw materials, production processes to the product halal assurance system that meets the standards of LPPOM MUI. The training and mentoring for UMKM in Labuhanbatu Raya was carried out through socialization and mentoring of NIB and assistance with halal labels. The total halal certificates that will be assisted through community service are 151 Halal Certificates with a distribution of 104 certificates in Labuhanbatu, 27 certificates in South Labuhanbatu and 19 certificates in North Labuhanbatu. This assistance effort is able to make UMKM actors aware of the importance of halal labels and be able to educate UMKM actors se-Labuhanbatu Raya in maintaining the quality of their products so that in this rapidly growing era the products that have been produced are able to compete with other products.

Abstract

Community service program is an important thing in Higher Education which aims to implement knowledge for the community. In this case, Budidarma University is working with FKPT (Private Higher Education Cooperation Forum in North Sumatra to try to apply existing knowledge through the PKM program by holding Graphic Design Training for MSMEs. MSMEs apart from playing a role in development and economic growth, they also have a significant contribution This training program focuses on aspects of graphic design and creative branding to help improve the business image of Sekar Handicraft Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Medan Tuntungan. The research method used is to analyze the needs of Sekar Handycraft by identifying the challenges faced by Sekar Handycraft SMEs related to graphic design and branding. Furthermore, designing creative branding training programs that suit your needs with graphic design, use of design software, logo development and branding strategies. Furthermore, it provides an in-depth understanding of how good design and strong branding can enhance the MSME business image. Furthermore, an evaluation was carried out to measure the impact on Sekar Handycraft MSMEs. includes improving product design, business image and increasing sales. The results of the evaluation show that this training program has succeeded in improving the business image of the Sekar Handycraft MSMEs. Thus, this training program not only benefits Sekar Handycraft MSMEs, but also contributes positively to the development of MSMEs in Medan Tuntungan as a whole and is a step in supporting local economic growth and improving the quality of MSME products in this area.

Abstract

In the new normal era, it is a stage for the government and society to solve economic problems that occur at all levels of society. So by taking advantage of this new normal situation, we intercollegiate lecturers in Labuhanbatu have conducted MSME outreach activities aimed at reviving and increasing the spirit of entrepreneurship by utilizing social media as one of the strategies for digital marketing in Bulungan Village. This counseling was attended by 20 residents of Marbau MSME owners, Bulungan Village, Marbau District, North Labuhanbatu District. By carrying out MSME counseling, we Lecturers across Higher Education concluded that the MSME counseling that we provided to MSME owners in Bulungit Village, Marbau District, North Labuhanbatu Regency had an economic impact on MSME actors increasing so that they were able to maintain their lives.
