Abstract

Hospital is one form of health facilities, organized by the community to carry out basic health efforts or health referrals and supporting health efforts. Nurses and employees as one of the professions in the hospital have an important role in the implementation of health services. The main task of a hospital employee is to serve and care for patients to speed up the healing process. Because of its dynamic work, a nurse and employee need to have good body condition, healthy, and have enough energy. Unfavorable body conditions result in a nurse easily discouraged when while working he experienced physical fatigue, emotional exhaustion, and mental fatigue.. Work stress is an emotional and physical response that is disturbing or detrimental that occurs when the demands of the task are not in accordance with the ability, resources, or desires of the worker. The purpose of this study was to look at factors related to work stress events such as workload, work shifts, social support, and out-of-work activities at employees of Diponegoro National Hospital Semarang during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research uses this type of analytical survey research with cross sectional methods. The population in this study was 83 employees. The total sample size is 83 employees. Data analysis using Chi square correlation test with significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the characteristics of respondents in this study were the majority of respondents with female gender (67.5%), young adulthood (24 - 29 years), Poly Outpatient work (12%), and working life 0-4 years (48.2%). There is a relationship between work stress and workload and work stress with work, while variable social support, and activities outside of work have no significant relationship with work stress in employees of Diponegoro National Hospital Semarang during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The efforts tobbuild patient safety culture is the first step forxachieving patient safety. RSUD RA Kartini should have implemented a good patient safety culture, because patient safety is relating to the hospital quality services. The purpose of this study is analysing the implementation of policies as effort to build patient safety culture at RSUD RA. Kartini. This study is axqualitative research with analyticalcdescriptive approach and purposive sampling technique with in-depthxinterview data collection method. Thexresearchxsubjects consisted of medical staff , Chair of the Quality and Patient Safety Committee (KMKP), Chairxof the Patient Safety Sub Committee, KMKP staff, and Head of Medical Services Division of RSUD RA. Kartini. The resultsxof the study indicate that there is no regulation or procedure of individual roles in handling incidents. Staff openness, mutual trust and awareness in reporting incidents are still low because there are some staff who do not understand the mechanism for reporting incidents. Decreasing concern among staff if an incident occurs so that are not reported. The follow-up to the patient safety incident report at the RA Kartini Hospital was not optimal because the supervision from the board office directors and KMKP, named Patient Safety Round program had not been carried out routinely. The policy implementation in building a patient safety culture at RSUD RA Kartini has not been maximal because there are several aspects that have not been implemented properly.

Abstract

The informal sector is currently experiencing a more rapid growth process than the formal sector so that it becomes one of the pillars of the Indonesian economy. One of the industries engaged in the informal sector is gudeg processing. Processing gudeg is a workplace that has a hot climate that comes from the furnace to cook gudeg. In addition, other influencing factors are individual factors in the form of age, increasing age can cause workers to become easily tired. In addition to age, the working period of workers varies, some have been in work for a long time or not. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of individual characteristics on fatigue of gudeg processing workers. This research was conducted through quantitative research, the method used was cross sectional research which was used to determine the effect of the independent variable and the dependent variable. Data collection was carried out using a Reaction timer, Subjective Self Rating Test (SSRT) from the Processing Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) and sheet respondent's questionnaire. The statistical test used was univariate test and bivariate chi-square test. The results showed that there was no influence between age, gender, and years of service on work fatigue.

Abstract

The production of mask waste in the public of Semarang city reaches 1.2 kg per day. Mask waste is an infectious waste that requires proper management. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge, accessibility of information, and the practice of managing the waste of disposable masks by households in the community of Semarang city. This study is an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design. Data collected using an online questionnaire survey. The sample in this study was 130 respondents aged 15-64 years who resided and domiciled in Semarang city. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square test statistical test. In this study, the results of univariate analysis were obtained, namely the majority of respondents had good knowledge of 52.3% of respondents, good information accessibility of 66.9% of respondents, and good practice of 54.6% of respondents. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and practice of respondents regarding household disposable waste management (p-value = 0.002) and there was no relationship between information accessibility and respondents practices regarding household mask waste management (p-value = 0.352). The conclusion of this study is the public of Semarang city already having knowledge, accessibility of information and good practices regarding how to manage single-use mask waste in households. The ease of accessing information that is already owned by the community does not affect the practice of managing waste masks which has been done.

Abstract

Abstrak: The Covid-19 vaccination is one of the efforts of the Indonesian government to reduce the cases of Covid-19 infection. The success of vaccination is supported by proper cold chain management. There has been no similar research conducted in East Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan. Research conducted in Yogyakarta and Sarolangun showed that not all cold chain officers had implemented the vaccination guidelines. This study aims to provide an overview of the quality of the Covid-19 vaccine cold chain management. Method: The design of this research is descriptive observational. The data collection technique was carried out by interview method using a questionnaire instrument and direct observation of 13 cold chain management officers in East Kotawaringin Regency. Result: From the results of the study, all respondents were not equipped with cold chain tools according to the provisions. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the officers who manage the cold chain have not yet fully implemented the technical instructions for implementing the Covid-19 vaccination. The officers are expected to be able to manage the cold chain in accordance with the instructions of the directorate general of disease control and prevention of the Indonesian Ministry of Health

Abstract

Dr. Moewardi Regional General Hospital is one of the hospitals appointed by the Surakarta local government to provide services and handling related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Providing health services in hospitals has made the hospital one of the largest producers of waste with various types. Especially with the current COVID-19 pandemic conditions, causing the amount of medical waste to increase. This study aims to evaluate the management of hospital B3 solid waste from the reduction and sorting stage, the storage stage, and carriage stage under Regulation Ministry of Environment and Forestry No. 56 in 2015 on Procedures and Technical Requirements to Manage Hazardous and Toxic in Health Care Facilities. The type of research is descriptive method with qualitative approach with primary and secondary data—the data obtained by in-depth interviews of the selected informants, moreover, for complementing data observation. The result of this research had the amount of waste before the pandemic had an average per day was 663,086 Kg, and after the pandemic, the average waste per day was 736.45 Kg, it can seem that there was an 11.1% increase in the amount of garbage. The evaluation based on the regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry Number 56year 2015 gets a percentage of 90.57%, which means do not meet the standard of 100%. The finding of management, such as self-considering from putting the waste that fit with the labels, and the negligence officer in usage self-protection tools in the incinerator storage and carriage stage.
