Abstract

Network security has become a critical issue in today's digital era, given the numerous threats that can compromise the integrity and confidentiality of data. One approach to address this problem is by using encryption and authentication techniques. Encryption transforms data into a form that cannot be read by unauthorized parties, while authentication ensures that only legitimate users can access the system. This research develops a network security system that implements encryption using the RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman) algorithm and a two-factor authentication (2FA) mechanism. The results of the testing show that the combination of these two techniques significantly improves network security, reducing the potential for data breaches and unauthorized access. The system also facilitates the management of encryption keys and user verification processes. This study is expected to contribute to enhancing the resilience of network security, particularly in environments vulnerable to cyber threats.

Abstract

The rapid development of Information and Communication Technology (Infocom) has led to significant advancements in business decision-making, particularly through the application of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This paper explores how these technologies are utilized to enhance business decision-making processes, providing organizations with valuable insights and predictive capabilities. Big Data refers to the vast amount of structured and unstructured data generated from various business activities, while AI leverages algorithms and machine learning techniques to analyze this data, uncover patterns, and make informed predictions. The integration of Big Data and AI enables businesses to improve efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and gain a competitive edge in a dynamic market environment. The paper discusses various applications, including predictive analytics, customer segmentation, and supply chain optimization, highlighting their impact on strategic and operational decision-making. Moreover, it addresses the challenges associated with the implementation of these technologies, such as data quality, privacy concerns, and the need for skilled professionals. Abstract

In the era of rapid digitalization, network security has become a critical concern for organizations and individuals alike. The role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in enhancing network security is pivotal in safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining the integrity of digital infrastructures. This paper explores the various ways ICT tools and strategies can be applied to strengthen network security measures, particularly in the context of emerging cyber threats. By leveraging advanced technologies such as firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection systems, and artificial intelligence, organizations can better prevent, detect, and respond to potential security breaches. Additionally, the integration of ICT in cybersecurity practices supports real-time monitoring, threat analysis, and proactive risk management. The findings highlight the importance of adopting a comprehensive and adaptive approach to network security, emphasizing the need for continuous updates and innovations to address the evolving landscape of cyber threats. Abstract

This research examines the application of the Agile Scrum method in developing the MBKM Report mobile application at Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang. Agile Scrum was chosen because of its ability to adapt to changes quickly and increase interaction between application users and the development team. This research applies a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and literature study. The initial development stage starts from needs analysis, design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), to application implementation and testing. The research results show that Agile Scrum can improve the quality of applications and the efficiency of the resulting development process. It is believed that the implementation of the MBKM Report application can speed up the process of reporting and monitoring MBKM activities and improve academic services at Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang

Abstract

Keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam mengidentifikasi kerusakan yang terjadi pada truk Mitsubishi Fuso sering menyulitkan pengguna. Truck merupakan kendaraan angkutan jalan raya dengan spesifikasi tertentu yang dipergunakan untuk mengangkut barang dalam ukuran besar dan berat Para teknisi sering mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan analisa terhadap komponen yang rusak. Penelitian ini menggunakan sistem pakar dengan metode naive bayes. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya sebuah sistem yang dapat digunakan kapanpun dan mambantu pengguna truk untuk mengetahui kerusakan yang terjadi dan tindak lanjut yang dilakukan guna perbaikan. Deteksi kerusakan dilakukan guna mengetahui kerusakan dan tindak lanjut perbaikan. Hasil dari penelitian dalam mendeteksi kerusakan yang dialami oleh Truk Mitsubishi Fuso dengan gejala (G01) Mesin tidak mau hidup, (G08) Kabel busi mengeluarkan percikan api, (G09) Pengapian pada coil short tidak stabil, (G15) Sekering tidak bisa digunakan yaitu kerusakan pada Sistem pengapian bermasalah (K03) dengan nilai probalibilitas 0.866328 atau atau 86.63%..

Abstract

PT Talang Gugun Sari Nusantara already has dozens of employees in each branch, each employee has various criteria in every job. Therefore, PT Talang Gugun Sari Nusantara has a way to improve the performance of every employee. By giving bonuses to employees who do their work well and in accordance with the Company's wishes. PT Talang Gugun Sari Nusantara previously conducted an assessment in a manual way that made its assessment irrelevant to the circumstances that occurred. With this problem, the company needs a Decision Selection System using the Analysis Hierarchy Process method to assess employees with several criteria such as attendance, sales of each employee, responsibility, and manners. The research conducted aims to build a software on "Optimizing Human Resource Management by Determining the Provision of Bonuses to Employees of Pt. Talang Gugun Sari Nusantara Using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method". In this study, a case was raised, namely looking for the best alternative based on the criteria that had been determined by using. This method was chosen because it was able to select the best alternative from 4 criteria. In this case, the intended alternative is those who are entitled to receive employee bonuses based on the specified criteria. This research was carried out by finding the value weight of each attribute and then a ranking process was carried out that would determine the optimal alternative, namely employees receiving bonuses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran manajemen teknologi dalam proses adaptasi perusahaan otomotif terhadap perubahan teknologi yang cepat. Industri otomotif menghadapi tantangan besar dalam menghadapi inovasi teknologi seperti kendaraan listrik, sistem otonom, dan digitalisasi produksi. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan studi kasus pada beberapa perusahaan otomotif terkemuka untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana manajemen teknologi diterapkan untuk merespons perubahan tersebut, serta dampaknya terhadap daya saing dan keberlanjutan perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam dan analisis dokumen yang terkait dengan strategi manajemen teknologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan otomotif yang berhasil dalam adaptasi teknologi memiliki manajemen teknologi yang proaktif, fleksibel, dan mampu mengintegrasikan inovasi dengan proses produksi yang efisien. Penelitian ini menyarankan pentingnya investasi dalam riset dan pengembangan, serta kolaborasi dengan perusahaan teknologi, untuk memastikan keberhasilan jangka panjang dalam industri otomotif yang semakin berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

BPNT (Non-Cash Food Assistance) is a government program aimed at reducing the financial burden of poor families by providing non-cash food assistance, as well as improving food security and the welfare of vulnerable and impoverished communities in Indonesia. The process of determining BPNT recipients is conducted conventionally, which often results in errors that lead to complaints from the public, as well as challenges in data collection and verification, reducing the accuracy of BPNT distribution. The aim of this research is to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and accuracy of the process for determining BPNT recipients in Padang City. The method used in this research is a combination of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Weight Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) to generate systematic, objective decisions and reduce subjective bias in the selection process of potential beneficiaries. The data for this research were obtained through field surveys, collecting assessments related to employment, income, housing conditions, age, and the number of dependents of the respondents. The results of the research indicate that through ranking, the application of the combination of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Weight Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) is effective in simplifying the evaluation and decision-making process, as well as identifying families who are ineligible to receive BPNT. This structured and well-documented assessment process supports the improvement of BPNT distribution effectiveness and enhances services to communities in need.

Abstract

Tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa tepat waktu adalah ukuran penting untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif sistem pendidikan tinggi. Untuk memprediksi kelulusan siswa berdasarkan data akademik, penelitian ini menggunakan algoritma Random Forest. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model prediktif dengan menganalisis faktor seperti IPK, kehadiran, dan nilai mata kuliah inti dari dataset seribu catatan mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi. Metode pembelajaran mesin ini dipilih karena kemampuan untuk menangani data yang rumit dan membuat prediksi yang akurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma Hutan Random memiliki akurasi 87,5% dalam memprediksi status kelulusan siswa, serta presisi 86,3% dan recall 85,9 %. Tingkat kehadiran dan IPK adalah faktor paling penting dalam menentukan kelulusan tepat waktu, menurut analisis fitur penting. Model ini dapat membantu institusi pendidikan menemukan siswa yang berisiko tidak lulus tepat waktu, memungkinkan intervensi dini untuk meningkatkan tingkat kelulusan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi marketplace berbasis web guna membantu UMKM mengurangi volatilitas pasar dan bersaing di era digital. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan teknologi XAMPP, PHP, MySQL, dan Bootstrap untuk menyediakan platform multi-penjual yang mudah dinavigasi. Aplikasi ini memiliki fitur untuk manajemen produk, klasifikasi kategori, dan pemrosesan pesanan yang memfasilitasi proses transaksi antara pembeli dan penjual. Temuan studi menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berhasil memfasilitasi interaksi jual-beli dengan cara yang efisien dan spesifik untuk UMKM, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan akses pelanggan dan mempermudah transaksi. Dengan bantuan aplikasi ini, UMKM dapat memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk meningkatkan pangsa pasar dan meningkatkan jam bisnis online
