Abstract

Islamic education in a plural society should be applied to educational institutions in Indonesia, the main requirement is to teach its value thoroughly without disturbing the others faith.  A teacher, in interacting with other religious people is not only required to open up and respect them but he must commit to their religions.  In the Koran, many records about the contact between Muslims with pre-existing celestial religions. Since the exsisting of Islam, it has been in the midst of other cultures and religions.  The reality of pluralism is natural, differences in backgrounds and attitudes of people towards pluralism cannot be denied.  By Islamic Education, it is expected to be able to provide enlightenment and foundation for the phenomenon of diversity and relations between nations, religion, culture, and so on.

Abstract

This study discusses the transformation of Islamic education in producing rabbani generations in the digital era. There are three main objectives achieved in this research, namely first, to explain the urgency of transforming technology-based Islamic education; second, expressing the challenges of Islamic education in producing rabbani generations in the digital era; third, offering an efficient learning model in printing the rabbani generation in the digital era. In achieving these objectives, researchers used qualitative methods with a library research approach. The results of this study explain that the urgency of transforming Islamic education aims to help people learn and understand Islamic beliefs. This is done in an effort to develop strong morals, religious knowledge and piety, as well as the ability to live up to Islamic principles. Islamic education also plays an important role in strengthening individual and societal Islamic identity. Therefore, the challenge for Islamic education in producing the rabbani generation in the digital era is that there is no adequate access to technological infrastructure in some areas which will limit the availability of Islamic teaching through digital platforms. A person's capacity to use digital technology in Islamic education can also be affected by economic inequality. In addition, the learning models applied are project-based learning models, problem-solving based learning models, distance learning models, game-based learning models, collaborative learning models, video- and animation-based learning models.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the unique phenomenon of fostering noble character at Pondok Pesantren API Al Riyadloh using a qualitative descriptive approach. Involving observation techniques, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, the researcher sought data to identify forms of moral development, such as exemplification, exercises, advice, discipline, praise, and sanctions. The validity of the data was tested using source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that moral development at Pondok Pesantren API Al Riyadloh employs various methods, including exemplification, exercises, and advice as means of internalizing moral values. Discipline, praise, and sanctions are used as instruments for supervision and character formation. Factors supporting moral development include the students' awareness of religious values, their backgrounds, and the leadership roles of the Kiai and teachers. On the other hand, the hindering factors involve the students' egos and their surrounding environment. Student awareness is considered the primary foundation, while individual backgrounds and the role of educational leaders play a crucial role in the development process. This research provides a deep understanding of the dynamics of moral development in Islamic boarding schools, highlighting challenges and potential for further development in the education of moral values.

Abstract

            There is a lot of data and facts that explain that Indonesia has a low literacy rate. This research aims to examine efforts to strengthen the religious literacy of students at MTs Ar-Rois Cendekia Semarang through the study of hadith which is used as a positive habit because of the importance of strengthening understanding of religion in students' lives. This research is a type of qualitative research with data collection techniques using interviews and observation. The research results show that students' weak religious literacy can be strengthened through positive habits in islamic junior hight school through the study of hadiths which contain various kinds of hadiths, including authentic, hasan and dha'if hadiths. The importance of strengthening religious literacy is to make students more intelligent, critical and selective in sorting information related to religion and can improve social skills, religious character and cross-cultural abilities.

Abstract

This research is a library research which reveals the thoughts of al-Ghazali and the Old Teacher about the purpose of education. The method used in this research is the documentary method. Some of the data collected includes primary and secondary data which discusses the educational thoughts of al-Ghazali and the Old Teacher regarding educational goals. Al-Ghazali is a great thinker and scholar with works in various fields of science including education. The greatest work of Imam Al-Ghazali is the book Ihya 'Ulum Ad-Din, where the purpose of education according to Al-Ghazali is a process of activities carried out systematically to give birth to progressive changes in human behavior, in order to form intellectual and noble morals in students. Such an old teacher is a great scholar and national figure, an educator in the land of Sulawesi, especially Central Sulawesi, the founder of the Al-khairaat educational foundation which now has a university. According to him, the aim of education, as the initial goal of Alkhairaat's founding, is to educate humanity, and that ideal education is not merely filling the brain but also educating all dimensions that exist in human beings, be it intellect, morals, spiritual and social. so that referring to these two objectives, both aim to develop the potential of students and form students who believe in God Almighty, and uphold morality and intellect.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas terkait Makkammisi Versus Majjuma’ studi pendidikan agama Islam atas masyarakat Bugis Desa Bana Kec. Bontocani Kab. Bone. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan historis, sosiologis, psikologis serta pedagogik dalam mengkaji asal mula kegiatan Makkammisi juga melihat bagaimana perkembangan serta kontribusi kegiatan Makkamisi dan Majjuma’ pada pendidikan agama Islam masyarakat. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Makkammisi dan Majjuma’ adalah sama-sama wadah bagi masyarakat Bugis dalam mendapatkan ilmu agama Islam, tentunya mempunyai hukum yang berbeda yaitu Majjuma’ atau salat Jum’at di wajibkan kepada seluruh kaum Muslim dan diperintahkan langsung oleh Allah melalui al-Qur’an. Sedangkan Makkammisi atau pengajian yang dikhususkan oleh  perempuan merupakan wadah yang dikembangkan oleh ulama terdahulu yang sebenarnya sudah ada sejak zaman Nabi. Dimana kajian untuk perempuan diminta langsung oleh kaum perempuan kepada Nabi sebagaimana laki-laki yang mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan bebas dalam bertemu Nabi saw. Maka Nabi memberikan satu hari khusus untuk perempuan. Maka itulah rujukan bahwa perempuan juga diberikan ruang untuk menuntut ilmu sejak masa nabi saw.Makkammisi yang sampai saat ini masih dilaksanakan oleh masayarakat Bugis Desa Bana, Kec. Bontocani, Kabupaten Bone patut dipertahankan dan diberikan apresiasi karena kegiatan Makkammisi ini tanpa di sadari sudah ada sejak zaman nabi dan dinyatakan dalam hadis nabi saw. penelitian ini penting untuk dikaji sebagaiamana perekembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan juga harus melirik  wadah pendidikan agama Islam yang sudah lama agar tidak tenggelam.
