Abstract

Technology is becoming more and more advanced and growing rapidly. One form of technological progress is the internet. The use of internet media (including social media) is increasing rapidly, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The rapid advancement of internet technology has brought a number of positive or negative impacts for users.As the largest internet users, teenagers are most vulnerable to being affected by internet use,  so they need to get supervision and direction, to prevent them from negative impact of using the internet. Seeing this phenomenon, teenagers (high school students & college students) need to be equipped with knowledge about how to take advantage of technological developments in a positive way for career planning. By holding "Technology & Career" psychoeducation, hoped that it can help teenagers understand how to use technology properly and positively for adolescent self-development, including career planning.

Abstract

Laila Collection, which is engaged in clothing sewing services, is one of many MSMEs who got impact from the Covid-19 pandemic. The orders have decreased dramatically due to restrictions on activities in the community. This is increasing due to changes in consumer consumption since the pandemic that chooses health products over fashion. Based on these conditions, this activity aims to help Laila Collection to survive in current conditions by utilizing the opportunities and resources currently available. The activity begins with identifying business opportunities with the results of the cloth mask business as a promising business. Consumer demand for cloth masks is quite high because consumers not only use cloth masks as personal protection equipment but are also more costeffective because they can be washed and appear more fashionable. Further activities include determining the market segment to be addressed so that the design of the product is more targeted, the creation of fabric mask product designs that have unique values and how to do online marketing. The results obtained from this activity are that the owner of Laila Collection can take advantage of the current opportunity by producing cloth masks that have unique designs. In addition, this activity also raises awareness of MSME owners to use online marketing, both social media and marketplace

Abstract

Students when choosing a school in high school need to continue their studies in college. Generally, they are still confused about choosing a study program and college. The purpose of this community service is to increase students' knowledge about the higher education system. Students' knowledge of the higher education system is very decisive in choosing study programs and universities, when high school students continue their studies. The method of implementing this activity is in the form of counselling. The activity partners were 95 11th grade students of SMAN 8 Tangerang City, Banten. Extension using zoom. Extension activities are carried out in the odd semester of 2021/2022. Data processing using SPSS software version 24. The results of community service activities show that there is a significant difference in students' knowledge about the higher education system before and after counselling. This proves that there is an effect of counselling on the knowledge of the higher education system of students.

Abstract

Even though times have changed a lot, soft skills are still needed by employees so that they can develop themselves both personally and professionally. Soft skills are socio-emotional abilities that are important for personal and professional development. Soft skills are usually the opposite of certain technical skills. One of the important soft skills to bemastered by employees is communication skills because communication always occurs in everyday life. Effective communication can make a job easier. Employees in PT X's manufacturing are more technically capable, this is because they are more often involved in machine operations. Therefore, the purpose of this book review program is to hone the employee's communication skills and speaking skills in front of many people. In addition to these objectives, this program is expected to provide additional insight to other employees according to the topic of the book being discussed. This program was held on November 5th, 2021 and was attended by employees from the manufacturing team of PT. X. The responses given by the participants, both for presenters and for the book review program, were quite positive. This can be seen from the evaluation form distributed at the end of the event. Hopefully, this article can be a reference for other parties who want to implement the same program.

Abstract

Kelompok Kerja Guru is an organization consisting of teachers who gather based on certain classes, fields or subjects. The Primary School English KKG is one of the KKG consisting of 120 English teachers for the elementary school level. English lessons are no longer mandatory at the elementary school level. After several years, it can be seen that there is a difference between students whose schools are still able to provide local content to English lessons. The quality of English lessons between schools is also different. In this era of globalization, of course, English is an important language in communication. Although Indonesian is still the main language, English is still needed to communicate internationally. The differences and difficulties of teachers in providing English lessons according to a standard curriculum and in accordance with the material prepared by teachers throughout Indonesia are a problem. The teacher's limited time in distance learning that is currently happening is also one of the obstacles for teachers to deliver material to students. One way to improve the quality of learning is to provide tutoring. In this pandemic, online technology remains an option in distance learning. Therefore, online tutoring is needed and a tutoring platform is needed in online learning. The tutoring application is needed in the delivery of English learning, of course, it needs to be equipped with a Chatbot so that it can help students ask questions. Chatbots are prepared in the tutoring application to help reduce the burden on teachers in answering student questions. In preparing materials for tutoring applications, teachers need to know how to create materials digitally. Increased knowledge of teachers is provided in the form of socialization and training.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) face obstacles in preparing standardized financial reporting, not knowinghow much pure profit they will get, lack of understanding of basic knowledge of financial records, lack of understanding of Android-based financial application knowledge, and difficulty getting financing from financial institutions. The purpose ofthis community service is to increase understaKURnding of basic knowledge of financial records and improve the ability to operate Android-based financial applications through education and training on Android-based financial bookkeeping.Community service involves the perpetrators of SMEs Bolu Rasa Bakery in Pejuang Village, Bekasi as the object of research. The method used in the training isthe online method, indirect faceto-face &mentoring, namely by analyzing andproblem solving. Financial bookkeeping materials are presented with lectures, training, questions and answers, demonstrations, and online case resolution. The material is made in a simple and attractive way so that the financial bookkeeping material is easy to understand for SMEs in Bolu Rasa Bakery. Furthermore, the recording process begins withexamples of simple transactions that are usually carried out through the SI APIK application, an android application issuedby Bank Indonesia. The results of financial literacy training and financial reporting assistance through this android-basedapplication are expected to run well, as well as an increase in understanding of basic knowledge of financial records and an increase in understanding of the operation of android-based financial applications.

Abstract

The development of technology and the internet is currently growing rapidly, many benefits from the existence of these two developments. One of them is to facilitate the process of work carried out in daily life. The use of technology can be implemented in work in the realm of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, in terms of managing Human Resources (HR). One tangible form of the use of technological advances and the internet in industrial and organizational work is a software system called the Human Resource Information System (HRIS). The use of the system aims to make it easier for individuals who work in HR management, in addition to time efficiency, data accuracy and accuracy will also be more pronounced when using HRIS. At PT X, for example, most of the divisions in the PT already use HRIS in work activities, but problems arise when new users are present, namely new employees who are not familiar with the use of HRIS. In addition to PT X only providing guidance in written form, other problems arise when the guidance is difficult to reach for new employees at PT X. Therefore, Community Service Activities (PKM), in the form of video tutorials on the use of HRIS, are carried out so that employees and new users of the HRIS system can more easily understand HRIS learning every step of the way. The target of the PKM implementation is new employees or new HRIS users represented by 3 new employees at PT X as PKM participants. Previously they watched the HRIS input tutorial video together, then were given a pre-test and post- test with a predetermined time limit. The purpose of the two tests is to be able to see the participants' understanding of the HRIS input tutorial video. The results of the two tests showed that all participants had an average increase in understanding of 20 points.

Abstract

MSMEs are one of the sectors that provide great benefits for both the region and the community, with their ability to absorb a lot of labor, this sector answers the gap between the growth of the productive age population and the availability of jobs, besides that MSMEs also have a positive contribution in increasing the GDP of a region. Problems that are often found in the development of the MSME sector are marketing problems. One of the problems faced is the lack of knowledge about marketing related to the limited information that can be reached by microenterprises about the market. This also happenedto BOLU RASA MSMEs, which experienced many obstacles due to the pandemic and limited knowledge about online marketing. Conventional marketing that has been carried out so far has resulted in decreased sales and reduced income. Online-based marketing has not been widely understood and used by MSMEs. This service activity was carried out by the Untar PKM team in the form of training by providing examples of ways that businesses can use to market their products via the internet. Partners who participated in this activity there were 4 business people who were a branch of the Bolu Rasa Bakery UMKM. The practical contribution of this community service is to educate micro business owners to no longer hesitate to use social media in product marketing.

Abstract

Partners in this PKM activity are MSME actors located in RT 10/RW 04 Batan Indah Housing, Kademangan village, Setu district, South Tangerang. It is currently inhabited by around 45 families, of which 30% of the families are small business SMEs engaged in the culinary field, such as cakes, snacks, frozen products and other creative industries. The problem that occurred was that during the pandemic due to social restrictions, the sales turnover of culinary businesses decreased drastically to 75%, some even temporarily chose to take a break from selling activities because the buyers were very quiet, and as a result they lost money due to overstock of their merchandise. If these MSME partners are able to convert their business to digital, it is certain that these residents' culinary products will continue to run well, because the actual need for household culinary delights such as breakfast or side dishes for lunch at partner locations is still very high. This PKM activity aims to provide training/counseling on how to digitize sales and product promotions by utilizing available hardware and optimizing the use of existing social and business platforms such as WhatsApp for Business and Gofood. The benefits obtained by digitizing products are to reach sales and a wider market even during a pandemic. The activity has been carried out from 7 November 2021 to 20 November 2021. As many as 15 business actors were visited one by one and given counseling and dialogue about the digitization of MSMEs and an explanation of the use of the WhatsApp Business application and the installation of GoFood on HP. The activity went smoothly and the material was conveyed quite completely.

Abstract

Plants are the number one air filter because they are very effective at absorbing formaldehyde and many other functions. Likewise for the existence of plants in the environment of SMKN 7 Tangerang. However, the condition of the plants around the school area is felt to be very poor both in number and arrangement. The use of flower pot racks to place flower pots allows the arrangement of plants in a vertical direction and arrangement in certain configurations. This PKM activity was carried out at SMKN 7 Tangerang. Based on information from the academic section, it is known that the provision of product design theory and practical experience of welding for students is still lacking. Therefore, the practice of designing plant pot racks and the practice of making flower pot racks directly with the welding process is welcomed. PKM activities are carried out in 2 stages. The first stage produces various aesthetic minimalist plant pot rack concepts and meets certain set criteria. The next stage is the practice of realizing the selected design. The work to realize the product is measuring materials, cutting, sanding, grinding, assembling, drilling, painting and finishing. PKM questionnaires are given at the beginning and end of the activity to find out the amount of addition to the knowledge, skills and insights of the participants. PKM activities have produced functional, minimalist and aesthetic flower pot rack concepts and prototypes. PKM activities are able to increase knowledge and understanding of the stages of designing and developing a commercial product by 69%. Practical activities in the welding workshop were able to increase the knowledge and understanding of all participants on how to use welding machines, saws, drills, grinders and other supporting equipment used in welding workshops. All participants were satisfied with the materials and methods of this PKM activity.
