Abstract

The lecture building is an important building which is the center of academic activities where educational activities are carried out. Currently, the construction of a four-story lecture building at Kadiri University is experiencing significant project delays with a deviation of 5.64% from the plan. Crash analysis can be carried out to speed up the duration of the project so that it can be completed on time with additional working hours. This research aims to determine crash time, crash costs, and cost slope for the application of overtime on the 4-story building construction project at Kadiri University. A quantitative and case study approach was used with data collected through observation, interviews, and analysis of project documents. Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis is carried out using Microsoft Project software to identify work that is on the critical path. Crashing is done by calculating crash time, crash cost, and cost slope. The research results show that applying 1 hour of overtime can speed up the project by 12 working days, with an additional cost of IDR 24,488,758. Cost slope analysis shows additional overtime costs of IDR 12,244,379. This research shows that the application of measurable overtime and crashing analysis can effectively overcome project delays in the context of building educational facilities.

Abstract

In rapid construction developments, delays still occur frequently and have not been resolved, as experienced by the GX Office & Co Working Bali project. The project will be completed in 42 weeks, but in the 27th week, there is an indication of a delay of -4.31% from the initial plan. Earned Value Method (EVM) is a time and cost performance assessment method that can be used to develop strategies to minimize delays. This research aims to evaluate the time and cost performance of the GX Office & Co Working Bali project using the EVM method. A quantitative approach is used to collect and analyze project schedules, actual costs, and progress reports. EVM key indicators such as Planned Value (PV), Earned Value (EV), and Actual Cost (AC) are analyzed to determine Schedule Variance (SV), Cost Variance (CV), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and Cost Performance Index (CPI). The results showed that the project experienced delays, especially from week 1 to week 14 and week 19 to week 27, with SPI values mostly below 1. However, the project showed increased efficiency in cost management with values CPI above one after week 14 to week 27, indicating that the actual costs incurred are lower than the value of the work completed. These findings highlight the need for corrective actions and more effective management strategies to address delays efficiently in terms of costs.

Abstract

This study aim is to study for the development of smart grid with the implementation of network automation in the spindle system to improve reliability, revenue and customer experience in the priority areas of PLN UID Jakarta. The addition of new substations has an impact on the reconfiguration changes and the addition of new networks in the context of loading feeders and causing the topology of the distribution network to be increasingly complex and impure spindle systems, in addition to the jammed condition of Jakarta also has an impact on the longer time in investigating disturbances, as well as the limited investment budget of PLN has not supported the installation of new keypoints in all distribution substations. This research was carried out by system modeling in the SCADA Distribution Management System for N-1 contingency and a simulation of the Self-Healing Mechanism test based on static and dynamic data parameters in real-time according to the Load Flow and Load Forecast in the SCADA systems. Evaluation of technical and financial feasibility as a smart feeder design that will be implemented in the spindle system, on the other hand, it is expected to be a Distribution Grid Management design that is feasible to be implemented in the 20kV Spindle system as an alternative to Zero Down Time to accelerate the recovery time of distribution disruptions and improve reliability performance in controlling the operation of the distribution system at PLN UID Jakarta.

Abstract

Kerobokan Bali Parking Building is one of the buildings that uses steel material as the main structure. The building which has a height of 13.97 meters, a width of 32.8 meters, and a length of 16.18 meters has a construction plan duration of 248 calendar days starting from July 2023. Known critical trajectory activities will be carried out a crashing program analysis with the aim of accelerating time by using one method, namely overtime work with a duration of 4 hours. Based on the analysis that has been carried out with the help of the Microsoft Project 2019 application, there are 16 lists of activities included in the critical trajectory. In writing this thesis, it will be mentioned in the form of a line code in Microsoft Project 2019, namely 569-573-579-580-581-606-585-586-590-591-595-596-600-601-602-612. In addition to knowing the list of critical path activities, this thesis also accelerates the duration with an additional 4 hours of overtime and calculates the total cost of the acceleration. After acceleration, it is known that the duration decrease is 61 days with a normal duration of 248 days to 187 days and shows a time efficiency of 0.245%. The total initial cost with normal duration is Rp 8,822,280,000.00 while if the project is accelerated, the project cost becomes Rp 8,901,216,104.5 by showing an additional cost of Rp 78,936,104.47.

Abstract

Selecting the best employees is an alternative for companies to maintain and improve the quality of employee work. Being best employee is a matter of pride for every employee, so this good thing will also have an impact on the company. Having employees with good quality will certainly improve the quality of the company itself. Making decisions for the best employees is a challenge for companies because its subjective nature makes the selection inaccurate, so an objective decision-making system is needed according to the criteria. The purpose of this study is to compare three multi-criteria decision-making methods (MCDM) namely AHP (Analysis Hierarchy Process), SAW (Simple Additive Weighting Model) and TOPSIS (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution). Based on comparative studies from several journals, the results of the accuracy levels obtained from different methods show that there are different results from several cases discussed in reference journals, this is due to differences in the number of criteria and alternatives used for analysis.
