Abstract

The hospital is a health service agency that focuses on curative efforts. Hospitals are required to have ideal resources to be able to provide the best service to patients. The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world is a tough challenge for health services. The increase in new cases is so fast that the graph of the improvement looks very sharp. Positive confirmed cases are also increasing while hospital resources are unable to accommodate the number of patients in the area due to limited isolation rooms and their facilities. RSUD Bendan Kota Pekalongan is a hospital designated by the government to become a line 2 (two) Covid-19 referral hospital. Various problems experienced by the hospital, including the limited number of isolation rooms, the limited number of PPE, the limited number of human resources for health workers. This results in various problems, one of which is the nurse's it can result in stress which results in decreased immunity. Therefore, education to give food supplement like ginger drink, especially nurses. Education is carried out by providing a pocket book on efforts to prevent Covid-19. After being given education services, there was a improvement for motivation and increasing imunity. Keywords: Covid-19, nurse, education, ginger drink

Abstract

Some people do not realize that using a smartphone is addictive so that it affects the health of the body and can make someone lose track of time. Excessive use will cause several effects, including eye fatigue, neck muscle stiffness, as well as stiff and tingling hands. From the observation process of identifying physiotherapy problems, it was found that the complaints experienced by the family community were that sometimes there was pain and tingling in the wrist area due to the use of smartphones, computers, and household activities after long-term activities. This observation process is carried out using the assessment method. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and insight to the general public as well as improve the health status of the community, introduce physiotherapy, provide exercise programs in the form of Active Stretching and Hand Exercise in the prevention of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Prior to outreach and training, the community was given a pretest and the community was given a post test after completing the activity. The results and conclusions obtained from the pre-test and post-test are that there is an increase in people's knowledge after counseling and training.Keywords : Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Active Stretching, Hand Exercise

Abstract

The living environment is a unitary space with all objects, forces, conditions, and living things, including humans and their behavior that affect the continuity of life and the welfare of humans and other living creatures. Environmental awareness is an effort to grow and develop awareness of the environment which does not only include garbage, pollution, greening animal protection, but furthermore how people have a love for land and water to achieve justice, prosperity and environmental sustainability. This community service regarding the management of environmental hygiene and health is carried out in Semut Village, Wonokerto District, Pekalongan Regency with the target population of the village community. The purpose of this activity is to build a culture of environmental awareness and increase community participation in environmental hygiene and health. The results of the activity can run smoothly, as evidenced by the role of participants who follow from elements of the community, and more importantly the growing public awareness of the importance of protecting the environment which includes cleanliness and environmental awareness, and increasing public understanding and awareness about environmental hygiene and health. Assistance activities to the community by involving all related components from the village, sub-district, and related offices in Pekalongan Regency can be carried out to maintain the continuity of these activities.Keywords: Village, environment, environmental awareness, cleanliness, health

Abstract

COVID-19 is a disease caused by a new coronaviru strain. "CO" is taken from corona, "VI" virus, and "D" disease. Previously, the disease was called the '2019 novel coronavirus' or '2019-nCoV.' The COVID-19 virus is a new virus that is related to the same virus family as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and several types of common cold viruses. Etiology of COVID-19 severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV V-2): the 2019 coronavirus is different from SARS-CoV, but shares the same host receptor: human protective enzyme 2 (ACE2). From the observation process, the identification of physiotherapy problems in CPVID-19 by Lecturers and Students of the D-III Physiotherapy Study Program of the Faculty of Health Sciences,PekalonganUniversitywas carried out by interviewing the local community. Information obtained was in the form of problems, namely that there are still many people who do not know how to handle and prevent COVID -19. The observation process to identify physiotherapy problems in COVID-19 uses an assessment method. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge and understanding from the public, especially in knowing about the prevention of COVID-19 by means of good cough etiquette and how to wash hands properly for virus prevention. The solution offered by the team is to use counseling and training on how to prevent COVID-19 with good cough etiquette and proper hand washing. Five people participated in outreach and training activities. Prior to the extension and training process, the community had been given a pre-test and post-test proving that the level of public understanding had increased after being given counseling in efforts to prevent COVID-19.Keywords : Prevention of COVID-19, proper coughing and hand washing hygiene.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country based on God Almighty, the existence of LGBT is contrary to the basic principles of the state. Therefore, efforts to counteract the existence of LGBT must be carried out by all elements, both government and society. Given that LGBT is spread through social media, providing education to teachers and parents is a breakthrough effort so that the dangers can be prevented from an early age. Abstract

Pedagogy competence is the main competence that must be owned by educators. Moreover, mastering science and technology are also important for educator to support the pedagogical competence. Based on the result of situation analysis, the data showed that the teaching learning model used by junior high school English teacher in Pekalongan regency was Teacher centered leaning (TCL).  Moreover, it was implemented without adequate technological support. Thus, that kind of learning pattern seemed monotonous and can reduce students’ interest in learning English. The solutions for the problems were : (a) applying cooperative method in learning (b) offering E-Coole (E-Cooperative learning) which is a web-based combination of cooperative learning and E-learning, the application focused on group Investigastion (GI). The stages in this PKM was carried out though several series, those were : (a) socialization, it was intended to introduce and explain PKM program to PKM partner. (b). training to provide definitions and basic concept of E-Coole. (C) mentoring teachers’ activities it was intended to implement E-Coole for grup Investigation, (d) evaluation to measure the abitily of teachers in using E-coole application with grup investigation strategy. The result of this PKM in this article included : (a) an understanding of PKM activities organized by PKM team and subject of PKM, namely the English MGMP Junior High school in Pekalongan regency, (b) PKM participants understood the definitions and basic concept  of E-Coole, (c) the mentoring activities run smoothly in schools with a focus on group investigation strategies (d) there was an increase in the ability of teachers to master and use E-Coole application with Group Investigation strategy. Key words : E-Coole, training and mentoring, Group Investigation strategy

Abstract

Pregnancy is a part of a woman's physiological process that requires adaptation both physically and psychologically. At this stage, women will prepare themselves to achieve their role / maternal role. Maternal roles require support to facilitate the adaptation phase, especially in primigravidas. In addition to support, stimulation is also needed to increase maternal roles. The purpose of this community partnership program is to implement maternal role stimulation in pregnant women in the Bandarharjo village area. The PKM implementation method is carried out in 4 stages. The implementation of stimulation is carried out in 4 stages, namely socialization, competency improvement, skills training and monitoring evaluation. The results of PKM showed an increase in maternal roles in primigravida mothers after being given stimulation. An increase of 44.5%. Keywords: stimulation, maternal role, pregnant women

Abstract

World Health Organization (2020) menyampaikan bahwa lansia menempati salah satu urutan teratas kelompok yang beresiko tinggi tertular COVID-19 setelah petugas kesehatan dan orang dengan penyakit penyerta. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena lansia memiliki imunitas yang cenderung rendah sehingga memicu mudahnya virus masuk ke dalam tubuh lansia. Menurut data yang disajikan dalam laman resmi penanganan Covid-19 di Indonesia, menunjukkan bahwa kelompok usia yang mendominasi angka kematian akibat Covid-19 adalah lansia berusia 60 tahun ke atas dengan presentase 42.3%. Kondisi inilah yang pada akhirnya mendasari lahirnya kebijakan pemerintah untuk melindungi tiga kelompok masyarakat (tenaga kesehatan, kelompok dengan penyakit penyerta, dan lansia) dari Covid 19. Langkah kebijakan tersebut meliputi keterlibatan masyarakat, sinergitas antarprogram, dan kerjasama serta koordinasi lintas sektor mulai tingkat pusat hingga desa. Universitas Pekalongan sebagai salah satu sektor penyelenggara di bidang pendidikan bekerjasama dengan Panti Pelayanan Sosial Bhisma Upakara yang merupakan pelaksana utama layanan kepada lansia dibawah naungan Dinas Urusan Sosial Lansia di Provinsi Jawa Tengah sebagai bagian dari kerjasama lintas sektor. Bentuk kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan adalah pemeriksaan kesehatan, penyuluhan kesehatan, dan pemberian APD serta suplemen kesehatan. Kegiatan Pemeriksaan kesehatan (Tekanan darah, pemeriksaan kadar gula darah, kolesterol dan asam urat) dan pendidikan kesehatan diikuti sebanyak 16 lansia dengan metode ceramah dan pemutaran video edukasi pencegahan Covid-19 bagi lansia. Pemberian bantuan APD berupa masker dan juga food suplemen diharapkan dapat meningkatkan imunitas sehingga risiko penularan Covid-19 bisa diminimalisir. Keyword: Edukasi, Pencegahan Covid-19, lansia

Abstract

Geriatric or elderly people usually experience physiological changes in the form of sagging skin and facial wrinkles and persistent lines, head hair turns white or gray, teeth begin to loose (toothless), vision and hearing loss, easily tired and fall easily, movement becomes sluggish and less agile. The problem experienced by the elderly is knee pain. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease of the joints characterized by pathological symptoms in the entire joint structure, damage to joint cartilage, the appearance of sclerosis and osteophytes at the edges of the bones, stretching of the joint capsule, inflammation and weakness of the muscles around the joints. From the observation process of identifying physiotherapy problems in the elderly by lecturers and D III students of the Department of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Health, Pekalongan University, which was carried out by interviewing family members, it was found that the problem most often complained of was knee pain. The situation analysis is in the form of observations made by students in the family community of Pasekaran Batang Village. solution offered that is by using the isometric exercise modality and physiotherapy treatment for osteoarthritis.The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge and understanding to the elderly about the role of physiotherapy in the elderly, especially in the management of knee pain. The implementations before the process of counseling and handling the elderly, a pre-test and a post-test are given, which make the benchmarks for the elderly's understanding of what treatments can be done for knee pain. the results of the pre-test and post-test proved that the level of understanding of the elderly increased after being given counseling. It can be concluded that after being given counseling and physiotherapy treatment, the elderly's understanding of knee pain has increased.
