Abstract

This dedication was motivated by a problem among the students of SDN Kedai Runding, namely that some students had difficulty in understanding the concept of science and the learning outcomes were still low. This happens because teachers only use lectures, questions and answers and assignments in learning, not moving students' enthusiasm to actively participate in learning. To overcome this, Apperpa is used in learning, because by using Apperpa students can be actively involved directly and discover for themselves the concept of science so as to help students who have learning difficulties. The approach or method that I use in this socialization, namely Participatory Action Researc (PAR) is a research approach that involves active participation of community groups that are the subject of research, this method aims to produce knowledge that is relevant, useful, and can be applied in everyday life. This activity was carried out at SDN Kedai Runding in Class V. With the Apperpa Science Props which contains experiments on heat transfer, students can easily understand the concept of heat transfer using teaching aids.

Abstract

This PKM activity aims to provide assistance and training for mosque administrators in Balong Wangi village and provide knowledge about how to prepare mosque financial reports using an Excel-based application. In this way, financial reports can be accounted for accurately and accountably. The method for implementing this service program is data collection and observation, implementation of activities, and evaluation. The results of this activity received a positive response from the activity participants/partners. Mosque administrators believe that training and assistance in preparing financial reports according to financial accounting standards based on the Excel program can increase their knowledge and make it easier for them to prepare financial reports. This training can improve administrator skills and the accuracy of financial reporting. The impact of this activity is that mosque administrators can more easily and efficiently prepare financial reports.

Abstract

Community service is an effort to make a positive contribution to society through the application of knowledge and skills. One of the community service activities carried out is preparing simple financial reports for PKK mothers. This financial report helps PKK mothers in managing household finances and increases their understanding of the importance of financial recording. This article will explain the method for making simple financial reports, the results, as well as a discussion regarding the benefits and challenges faced. Conclusions and recommendations will also be presented as an effort to increase the effectiveness of this community service program.

Abstract

So that education is a forum for students to be able to develop all the skills they have. As time progresses, technological progress also develops. The rapid development of technology also has an impact on the world of education. Learning activities cannot be separated from methods, models, teaching aids and also media. Teachers can use learning media as a means of conveying knowledge to their students.

Abstract

This activity aims to help Koko Nino Corn Crackers MSMEs manage their finances better, such as determining the right selling price, making production budget plans, sales reports, and calculating profits earned. This will help their business units develop their capital to a greater extent. Apart from that, this activity also aims to improve product packaging and expand the marketing reach of the product. The methods used in this activity include observation, material presentation, and training practices regarding determining selling prices, making production budget plans, sales reports, calculating profits, appropriate packaging, and evaluation. The goals that Koko Nino Corn Crackers wants to achieve through this activity are increasing sales, the ability to make daily financial records, simple financial reports, determine more accurate selling prices, change more attractive packaging with various sizes, and expand the product's marketing they reach.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many MSMEs are having difficulty marketing their businesses. So digital marketing is the right solution to help business marketing by utilizing digital technology. This marketing can be done through social media such as Instagram by creating interesting content. The objects of this service are 33 MSME actors. The aim of this community service is to provide education to MSMEs, especially business actors, about digital marketing strategies and provide training via webinars on how to optimize business accounts via social media. The service method is carried out in a bold way through training webinars and mentoring using the zoom meeting application. As a result of the service activities, participants were able to understand good marketing strategies using digital marketing.

Abstract

Wise literacy in social media is a critical aspect in dealing with the complexity of online interactions in the digital era. A deep understanding of social media-platform use and the ability to critically evaluate information is at the core of this literacy. Individuals who have wise social media literacy can filter out inaccurate information, understand the social, cultural and political impacts of the content they consume or share. The importance of wise social media literacy also involves responding to disinformation, where individuals can effectively avoid the spread of fake or manipulative news. Ethical aspects of communication are also a focus, with this literacy teaching individuals to promote healthy dialogue and respect diversity of opinion, forming a more positive and inclusive online environment. This research aims to find out how the pattern of community service is a manifestation of the tridharma of higher education related to aspects of community service. In implementing the community service program that has been prepared previously, the method used is increasing knowledge by means of counseling or socialization with the aim of providing understanding and wise skills in digital literacy from the extension team. Apart from that, wise social media literacy also considers online security and privacy risks. Users need to be able to manage and protect their personal information, avoid threats such as fraud, and carefully guard their digital identity. This is not only an individual skill, but also a contribution to the sustainability and security of the global digital environment. By mastering social media literacy, individuals can better navigate the complexities of social media, participate positively, and make informed and wise decisions in using these platforms. Overall, smart social media literacy is an important foundation for forming individuals who are able to interact wisely in an ever-growing digital world. By combining an understanding of content, communication skills, and awareness of security risks, wise social media literacy helps shape an intelligent, ethical, and empowered online society.

Abstract

Adolescence is a developmental phase and transition period from childhood to adulthood that is characterized by accelerated physical, mental, emotional, and social changes. This development begins with growth, change, and the emergence of various opportunities and risks of problems in reproductive health. Adolescents must prepare themselves from the aspect of knowledge and attitudes toward achieving healthy reproduction. One of the reproductive health problems in adolescent girls is vaginal discharge. The impact of abnormal vaginal discharge is the occurrence of infection and can lead to infertility. The purpose of this counseling is to provide health education about vaginal discharge so that the knowledge of young women increases so that they can better understand how to prevent vaginal discharge and maintain the cleanliness of the reproductive organs. The counseling was carried out at the Tahfidz Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Hisbah Al Fatih Sintang with 16 participants. Counseling is done using lecture and question and answer methods, the media used are leaflets and PowerPoint slide shows. The measurement of participants' knowledge was carried out by conducting a pretest and posttest and processed by the Paired Sample Test. The test results show that there is a change in the level of knowledge before and after being given counseling with a Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. The conclusion from the counseling was that there was an increase in participants' knowledge after given counseling. Counseling participants are expected to be able to apply a clean and healthy lifestyle to avoid vaginal discharge.

Abstract

The utilization of technology has influenced many aspects of life, and one of the fields affected is education. Basic education must adapt to the evolving era influenced by technology. The implementation of a workshop on the utilization of AI as a learning tool is based on observations and interviews with the headmaster of SD IT Bina Insani Semarang. This workshop introduces AI technology to the teachers of SD IT Bina Insani, along with its advantages and disadvantages. During the workshop, participants not only receive theoretical material but also engage in practical exercises in utilizing AI, guided by the team from PPM Universitas STEKOM Semarang. The evaluation of participants' understanding of the material on the use of AI is conducted directly during the practical sessions, considering the participants' active involvement throughout the workshop.

Abstract

This socialization activity program involved all Kaloy State Elementary School teachers in Kaloy Village, Tamiang Hulu District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh Province, totaling 18 teachers. Based on the evaluation in the implementation of this socialization and counseling program, it turned out that the participants who attended this program could be said to have met the target, namely 14 participants came from the 18 targeted participants. Apart from that, all the participants who came also represented classes at the Kaloy State Elementary School Integrated Private Islamic Elementary School in Kaloy Village, Tamiang Hulu District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh Province. The program for implementing this activity was designed using scientific discussion and question and answer methods. This socialization activity has run smoothly and as expected. The enthusiasm and satisfaction of the participants who attended this community service program were also felt by the presenters. This is proven by the number of participants who attended and there were no participants who were allowed to leave, so it can be said that almost all teachers as participants in this socialization and service activity took part in the entire series of events from the beginning to the end of the activity. Apart from that, the participants also seemed enthusiastic about listening/paying attention to the presentation of material from the presenters and also the discussion and question and answer interactions that occurred during the question and answer session were one indicator or special attraction of the participants towards the material presented by the presenters.
