Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in culture, natural wealth, race,ethnicity and religion. With this wealth, the symbol of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika was created, which means that even thought we are different, we are still one. With this, educators collaborate in the school enviromment and in the wider community which has many differences in order to anticipate and overcome the widespread intolerance within the republic of Indonesia. The locus of this research was carried out at State Middle School (SMP) Santap 2 Kuala pembuang , aschool located in Jahitan Village, Seruyan Hilir District, Seruyan Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. This is the author’s place toprovide community service. This research activity was carried out using direct observation methods through surveys, interviews and education supported by literature studies, religious tolerance means appreciating, respecting and distinguishing between existing religions. In this regard, Charistian and non-Christian aducators pray to provide lots of education about tolerance so that they become patriotic indivuduals. Christian education plays an important role in making the Indonesian nation a harmonious country like the Lord Jesus taught about loving your neighbors. With real love, people will slowly get to know the person of Jesus, Indonesia is a multicultural country that has very abundant wealth in terms of natural wealth, ethnicity, race and even religion. Departed by making students able to accept the differences that exist in the school environment and the community of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

Anemia is a condition where the hemoglobin level in the blood is less than the normal level. Adolescent girls are at high risk of anemia, because during this period there is an increased need for iron due to growth and mensturation. School activities and high extracurricular activities will have an impact on irregular eating patterns, besides the habit of consuming drinks that inhibit iron absorption will affect one's hemoglobin levels. Adolescent girls are required to take Blood Addition Tablets because they experience menstruation every month. Blood Add Tablet is useful to replace iron lost due to menstruation and to fulfill iron needs that have not been fulfilled from food. Iron in adolescent girls is also useful for improving learning concentration, maintaining fitness and preventing anemia in future mothers. The implementation of this community service activity was held at SMP 4 Tulang Bawang Regency on January 14, 2024. Participants who took part in the education "Counseling on Anemia Screening and Providing Fe Tablets to Adolescents" were 20 junior high school students from SMP 4 menggala. Based on the counseling care carried out, it is known that knowledge about anemia in adolescents, the average knowledge before is 50.5 and after is 87.5, it can be seen that there is an effect of the counseling provided, from counseling it is also seen that the mean difference is 37%. The p-value = 0.000 (p-value < α = 0.05) means that there is an effect of counseling on knowledge about anemia in adolescents.

Abstract

Legal awareness plays a crucial role in law enforcement, especially in remote areas like Serangkat Village. The government has a direct responsibility to support the community there. The lack of legal awareness in Serangkat Village is due to the community's tendency to resolve legal issues based on local customary law, a lack of trust in law enforcement authorities, and concerns about significant financial consequences. The primary goal of this activity is to enhance understanding of the importance of legal awareness and introduce the Legal Aid program organized by the government for the community. This research uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method supported by field observations, planning, and implementation of activities. Legal Aid refers to free legal services provided by authorized institutions to individuals in need. The program aims to protect the constitutional rights of individuals and promote social changes that are fair. The results of this awareness campaign are evident through the community's understanding of the urgency of legal awareness and the availability of the Legal Aid Program provided by the government

Abstract

Real Work Lectures (KKN) aims to create a form of embodiment of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely service, as an index of community development through work and concrete evidence. Real Work Lectures (KKN) are a form of real work in the community to empower rural communities designed by students who are able to lead students to become complete individuals with the guidance of a lecturer, both in utilizing knowledge, the ability to analyze the conditions of the surrounding community, and providing solutions in overcoming various social, economic, health, educational and political problems according to their scientific field. Judging from the problems that occur in the field, we created a Real Work Lecture (KKN) program divided into four areas which consist of education, religion, entrepreneurship, social environment, health and infrastructure. Abstract

Tercabaikan is one of the MSMEs in the city of Bandung, West Java, which innovates the taste of Bakso Aci into a flavor that is favored by many people. Tercabaikan Company was first initiated by Mr. Inggra Dwipo Prayogo as the owner at this time in 2018 which is located at Jl. Sukagalih number 193 RT 05 / RW 06 Pasirjati Ujungberung, Bandung City, West Java. The purpose of this study was to test the feasibility of neglected business entities by adding variations to existing product flavors. Descriptive method, the techniques used are interviews and field observations on March 15, 2023. The results of this study indicate that the Tercabaikan business entity has the potential to be feasible to develop with innovation in Bakso Aci products. The feasibility analysis shows business sustainability with positive profit projections. However, it is important to continue to monitor and evaluate financial performance in accordance with the projections that have been generated. The feasibility results determined on this neglected business entity through a series of comprehensive observations carried out to obtain a feasible conclusion, especially in the financial elements of the neglected business entity.

Abstract

This community service program focuses on strategies to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs in POPKID.ID Children's Clothing by improving the quality of financial and capital management. POPKID.ID is an MSME engaged in the convection of children's clothing aged 1-13 years which has been established since 2020. One of the main problems faced by POPKID.ID is limited working capital which hinders business growth and development. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training and assistance related to financial and capital management strategies for POPKID.ID. The method used is through training and mentoring. As a result, financial projections show an upward trend if financial and capital management is improved. Suggested strategies include optimizing funding sources and increasing financial literacy.

Abstract

This workshop is specifically aimed at beginners in web development who want to learn more about HTML and CSS. Participants (students) will be guided through basic HTML material, including content structure, and an introduction to CSS, covering layout principles and responsive design implementation skills. Students will be able to create visually appealing web pages, responsive to various screen sizes. They not only understand the basic theory of HTML and CSS, but can also produce web pages that adapt smoothly on a variety of devices, meeting the demands of modern web design. Through workshops or community service activities, it is targeted to provide benefits to students at Muhammadiyah University, Jambi. Providing learning insights and knowledge in using and utilizing the Internet by providing materials and discussions. Training workshop activities contain knowledge or learning material, providing applications and examples, and questions and answers.

Abstract

West Java Province Health Profile in 2022, the cause of the highest maternal mortality rate is due to pregnancy hypertension at 29.64%, bleeding at 28.17% and other causes. This must be a concern for health workers and the community, because the health of pregnant women is a shared responsibility. The prevalence of pregnancy hypertension often occurs from five to ten out of one hundred pregnant women who have the potential to experience pregnancy complications, namely hypertension. Hypertension in pregnant women or gestational hypertension appears after 20 weeks of pregnancy, and will disappear after delivery. Factors that can increase the risk of pregnant women developing hypertension are obesity and diabetes mellitus. Pregnancy hypertension if there is protein in the urine then complications will lead to preeclampsia. Pregnant women must pay attention to early signs that lead to preeclampsia to maintain the health of mother and child. The highest cases of pregnant women with anemia were in West Java in 2019. Pregnant women who have complications of hypertension and anemia during pregnancy are at risk of giving birth to babies with low birth weight (LBW). AKI in pregnant and postpartum women, in West Java Province, occurs most often in the maternal age range of 20-35 years, there are also those above the age of 35 years with a percentage of 36%. One intervention strategy to reduce MMR is through pentahelix collaboration between the government, society, academics, professional organizations, the media and the business world, by continuing to emphasize health promotion through socialization on the prevention of hypertension and anemia in pregnant women.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah membekali orangtua dengan metode pengasuhan yang tepat dan baik untuk ditanamkan kepada anaknya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SDN Gayam 1 dengan subjek siswa kelas 1 hingga 6 dan wali murid. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa sosialisasi kepada orang tua mengenai pola asuh anak di rumah. Hal tersebut penting diperhatikan karena penanganan pendidikan anak tidak dapat terlepas dari penanganan sekolah dan di rumah. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yakni rendahnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan orang tua mengenai pola asuh anak khususnya bagi orang tua yang berpendidikan rendah; masih dijumpai orang tua yang anak terlambat berbicara tetapi dibiarkan saja karena tidak mampu memberikan stimulasi atau penanganan yang tepat. Tindak lanjut dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah membekali orang tua dengan keterampilan dalam mendampingi anak dan melatih simulasi stimulasi edukatif bagi anak sehingga orang tua memahami pola asuh yang tepat guna mengoptimalkan tumbuh kembang anak.

Abstract

The problems that arise due to the use of inorganic fertilizers are quite complex. Soil pollution, economic problems for the community around Lembang Derunan, as well as a decrease in agricultural yields due to the long-term impact of the use of inorganic fertilizers. This occurs due to a lack of public awareness and ignorance regarding the use of organic fertilizer. The aim of making liquid organic fertilizer is to increase public awareness in Lembang Derivatives and overcome problems that arise due to the use of organic fertilizer. Based on the results of this research, it was found that liquid organic fertilizer materials are easy to find and can overcome people's problems in providing fertilizer for plants, especially rice. Rice with liquid organic fertilizer has been proven to be more fertile and able to maintain soil quality compared to rice without organic fertilizer
